No, they very much knew what the schedule was. Hiroaki Kojima is the founder of Bugfilms and even when he was working at OLM, he was known for being very reckless with his productions, often making very major premieres (ex: Komi-san) but not really accounting for the resources and time he had to account for the rest of the series, often resulting in multiple episodes needing full outsourcing to even be made to begin with. The difference this time, is that Bugfilms is a very new studio, meaning their prowess in terms of management is still very weak. And he still did the same thing with of Zom100 of doing an episode too grand for what the resources available really accounted for, compromising the entire rest of the production. If it was about "letting them take their time", there wouldn't be these types of delay announcements so close to the release to begin with, could've been like JJK with the announcement before the season even started. |

| It sucks for fans of the show that it's getting delayed every episode but that least that means the show as a whole will have a higher production quality. As for me I gives me more time to watch the episodes so it's honestly a positive for me. |

| This is getting ridiculous. IMO this is the best seasonal for Summer 2023 and this delaying nonsense is starting to make me want to lower its score. I look forward to it every week, but now its every other week |

| Aw man, ANOTHER delay? And now I see in two weeks there's no episode either. I swear, it feels like this has been one of the worst anime seasons in regards to delays so far. I wasn't exactly enamored with this show either. Honestly I'm tempted to put it on hold and just watch the rest months later. I've done it before with other shows that were better than this that had production issues. Eh, we'll see. |

There are multiple companies doing their own subs after all. And it's not like a day of delay is gonna make a major difference in terms of animation quality anyway. | Considering that I heard that SHAFT left too, this production or just management of episodes and timing with the staff in this franchise is something else and becomes even more ironic as weeks pass. It's a shame and many could be overworked but this is just a mess, hard to even be surprised by these announcements anymore. Whether it is delaying the streaming release for a day or the actual airing of episodes for a week. Something always has to go off course to some degree. |
