For Regulus they go so hard with this manchild thing of him throwing a tantrum and treating his harem like toys. You know how the kid isn't getting his way, so he breaks one of the toys to not only alleviate his rage but to attempt to get what he wants, even if not an effective means. It's really turning into the most complete (I mean, seriously, it has just about everything) and nauseating otaku redemption/power fantasy that I've probably ever seen, though still entertaining for its dumpster fire qualities and my semi-loyalty to the series.

I've had a change of heart about Orb. It's an amazing anime.

I can't believe I thought "nah I won't be watching this anime, it's probably just pretentious". But oh boy was I wrong. I find it incredible how you look at things of the past while thinking well isn't it obvious? In the past it wasn't! That's why it's so great to see how people fought for what they believed in and that is exactly why humanity is where we are right now. People fighting for what they believed in, even if it meant sacrificing themselves.

This anime is a work of art. It's been a long time since I've watched an anime that made me forget time. I find myself thinking "wait what, 20 minutes are already over? I thought it's just been about 5 minutes." That's exactly how good this anime is. It is unpredictable and very intellectual. For those saying it's boring, they should try to give it a chance and maybe challange themselves.
You will be missing out on the beauty lf this anime.

If you're looking to challange yourself intellectually sometime, maybe give it another try in-between your loli and beast tamer anime.

I almost cried when Kizumi said he understood the popularity for monster more than the Haruhi movie (I'm the opposite and like the film better than the Haruhi series; a big part of it is probably how much you like the character Haruhi). ;_;

New Gundam is pretty weird, but it looks better and fresher to me than Mercury Witch, which had all the fat suits. Ideal would be for them to go more in the direction of Thunderbolt or retro. Edginess and gender reveal aren't bad per se, but the combo that comes off as a pandering melodrama is really cringe. I just roll my eyes every time seeing this kind of plot in any type of media.
The wokes obvs overreact to most of shits that seemingly look unjust and conservative to them, so it's amusing to witness problems arising inside their comm.

I saw the average time displayed on vndb is 75 hours, so the pacing seems better in the manga. JP and Western sometimes have a big clash in taste. I don't think there're many of us here would love to see a dozen third-grade isekai with long-winded titles every season, yet we got it anyway. Cause the LN and Manga sell well in JP.

Is the Pompo movie that terrible? Would like to hear your opinion on the Suzumiya movie too, if you finish it anytime soon. It's quite sluggish and boring to me, not as fun as the 2006 TV series. I can understand the hype around Monster, AoT, or Frieren but not this one.
