It does look like an unappealing movie, that Belle. I've never liked that cat lady-centric ugly bastard stuff, as it's like a classier version than that novel Bear, where the woman has sex with it. But he tacks on virtual world, the gimmick he's been doubling down on ever since Digimon? Yuck. I guess I haven't gotten to that point in Happiness yet. Just seems like your average boring vampire story so far. Surprised by how bland it is.

At this point, I doubt that is even speculation about Regulus. Revenge of the Otakus. He writes a story where Subaru (author) meets Emilia (crush) first and can goof up and have infinite resets to win her over and save the day, and he's such a nice, dedicated simp that she falls for him. Then he depicts the bully (Regulus) who really dated Emilia and stuffed him in a locker and dunked his head in the toilet. And the harem are all the girls he has taken in his conquest and uses. Then Subaru is so amazing and good that he has Reinhard (Chad), who he constantly notes is better than him and how inferior he feels next to him, save the day and step aside so Subaru and Emilia can be together. In a lot of ways, the power fantasy is far, far more pathetic here than your average isekai where the MC is simply OP, and S3's naked writing makes it all the more ridiculous. XD

Yeah, quite a few of Subaru's deaths were not a result of him being like fuck and killing himself for a reset, but pretty much unavoidable... again, you could just make Subaru die because the villains are too powerful, then allow for a better plot and strategy. It's not believable at all that Subaru didn't die even once against Regulus. It's like these people are thinking the naysayers are suggesting Subaru should constantly kill himself for small improvements to the timeline, when I think it's reasonable to consider that the reset is traumatic enough that he absolutely wants to avoid it. The other thing is that it's fine if it goes in a lighter or more positive direction, but that's not an excuse for how corny and trashy the writing is for that direction.

lol, I was okay with Alice for maybe 25-50% and got irritated by it after a while, but it did have a lot of good moments with awkward laughter and face palming. The scene where she's like you must only have eyes for me, then trap steps out of the closet, or the part where his mom is like go up stairs with him, then he forcefucks the MC. And how the MC is so doormat he can't get an erection unless he's being bullied. Very hilarious. XDXDXDXD

After that, it kind of just meanders into goofy shit, like his conceptualism and all of those annoying extra (meaning the in-between chapter rambling from the author) personal things making it feel overly self-absorbed.

Yeah, Elsa following Garfield around is pretty weird, since it seems like they just fought twice, then he pancakes her. Subaru had a much more traumatic history with her. I guess they had to give Garfield something. :S

The other funny thing about what I said about how Regulus treats his wives like toys is that he very obviously has not had sex with any of them or any purpose for them at all (well, his purpose is the authority, but it does look like an otaku collection). He just collects them like an otaku keeps his figurine collection on the shelf. He ain't no Rance. XD

Half the time I can't figure out if Regulus is toying with his opponent because of his near invincibility or if he's very powerful but a horrible fighter... :\

Then Emilia beating Regulus up is like a shaming ritual, and they're mocking him. Also, holy shit, how long ago did he toss Reinhard into the air!? he seriously made it to the moon in less than a day? This is like DBZ/Superman-tier nonsense.

Regulus is like the most narcissistic and smug otaku who plays video games with cheat codes and collects waifus and goes on long monologues on message boards about how amazing he is turned into an NTR hentai super villain. Most isekai and otaku-centric shows at least implicitly interact with the idea, but the redemption shit is getting pretty preachy and on the nose too. Much more interesting, imaginative, and high quality compared to most isekai but it can be really cringe.

Yes, that's a dead giveaway... plus, who else could it be and why bandage her up otherwise? They're already doing the reappearance of people from the past or thought to be dead, like with grandpa swordsman's wife and catboy's amnesiac mother. Just give me more Lugunica. Not much else to look forward to for this season of Re:CUCK.

Regulus does come across as far more menacing of a villain but now he's playing the clown, especially seeing him skate around on the ice and Emilia bonking him with an ice hammer. XD

For Regulus they go so hard with this manchild thing of him throwing a tantrum and treating his harem like toys. You know how the kid isn't getting his way, so he breaks one of the toys to not only alleviate his rage but to attempt to get what he wants, even if not an effective means. It's really turning into the most complete (I mean, seriously, it has just about everything) and nauseating otaku redemption/power fantasy that I've probably ever seen, though still entertaining for its dumpster fire qualities and my semi-loyalty to the series.
