The series that I linked, in the second arc, had two of the main girls competing with each other by having their companies or scrubs or whatever produce yaoi manga and then sell it. It's way too standard after the first arc. Probably that second arc is okay for what it is, but I found the arc dull. The ESP plane thing? You watched it, but I don't remember the name. Think Gayman likes it, if that helps, lol.

Man, so many of these things get riddled with fujoshi. I remember liking the first arc of this series a lot, as it was quite a wacky sci-fi comedy. But the second arc just doubles down on fujoshi competition, so I dropped it. Guess I'll try it again to see if that's just a bad arc for me, but damn... The two arcs I saw are like night and day.

The art style for the brewery anime reminds me a bit of that one movie with the jet-flying girl semi-ESP thing. Fujoshi, weak-brew-tea seinentard, and "it's a brewery, see it's near clear pristine stream/brook and lush green forest" dialogue, that should just be implied visually, definitely doesn't bode well for me. :\

Yup, Morph has an FMC, and it's a weird kind of psychological horror that I'm still not fully sure what direction it'll take, but disappointingly, from skimming a rev, it seems they reveal everything at the end of the 1st volume, then there are three more. That might be a bad move. :\

His latest also has an FMC, and it has a rural town plot about the villagers leaving for the city and some weird matrixy horror or something (didn't get too far before dropping).

Well, 5.5 is not too bad of a score, especially for Snob, but it feels like "like" is starting closer to 6/10. But he gave 4 to TD. Admittedly, TD is a bit more anime with its humor and Basturd is probably a bit more natural, but it doesn't sound like a mid-Snob title, does it? lol... Pretty sure the guy who was subjecting her to that also becomes an ally later. XD

Nessie is very common in Japanese media that references anything paranormal or occult, often for a quick shot of humor. I'd say it might reflect one of their own legends, but they don't tend to reference it alongside Nessie, so maybe not... Maybe some fascination with aquatic life and there being a plausibility because new species turn up all the time, even ones thought to be extinct. Not sure.
