A ninja gathering? Although this time, they're the real deal and not your local students at school.

Idk, this episode felt like it introduced characters I don't really care much about although they have their reputations.

This episode is pretty good and reveals a lot of things.
When I looked at that corrupted officer's face, I know in an instant that he is bad. I mean everything was shown on his face.
Koga was behind everything. hahaha... that's it. They even killed their own leader and tried to blame Iga with a fake CCTV record.
In the end, it will be everyone vs Koga. Koga's belligerent decision will lead to their decline.

Now that he’s acting chief it’s time for a major power up lol . Also wtf Is the shinobi police doing ? it should be rather obvious that the whole thing was staged by their clan to begin with … I’m interested to see how this is going to turn out tho

The Iga vs Koga war is really becoming the main point of the anime now and that Ninja reunion didn't fix things, death penalty to Ittoki's mother?! Meanwhile he's temporarily becoming the leader of the clan, but Koga is starting to destroy them

Last 2 episodes seem to have a good amount of plot development albiet the method they resort to is a bit silly. What I hope to see is good character development of ittoki in the next 5 episodes. Finally it looks like the time I invested in the show may actually lead to a good plot. The gaping hole in plot is ofcourse How is it that the core even if exclusive to a specific clan would not be sold at a black market or such. I mean no matter the secret in this world money can unravel it. and secondly the death of the 1st division chief, I mean murder in a chair in an official organization is pretty hard to pull off, the stab probably went through a seat, how to move the body and clean the crime scene in such a place and ofcourse the person investigating koga is killed the next day after koga chief is arrested, definitely sounds hurried and only one place it points to, a mole.

Koga is really out for Iga's blood and they seemed to have taken down all those who could stand against their war. Things are not looking good for Iga.

Ok this series is picking up and it looks like Koga is digging themselves into a bigger hole. I'm glad that the other villages finally spoke up after Yumika did in the meeting. Speaking of Yumika, I hope that she does not get killed after being sentenced to death as the preview showed what I hope is a rescue. Also, I hope the two girl classmates of Ittoki end up helping out when they realize what is going on.

The Iga clan's secret Ninja Core weapon which Ittoki is to inherit, he can only do so much.

The Ninja Grand Council which convenes once in a blue moon, the last to truce between the Iga and Koga clans, and now for the war. Even as the police deem the Council unnecessary (which infuriates Shione), this is a big one for all ninja villages in Japan, where the Koga clan has supposedly penetrated every facet, and proving their arrest will be a monumental efffort.

Yumika stood her ground gathering evidence against Koga, and one by one, the other villages testify against the Koga Clan's aggressions. But the fabrication of evidence that weighs against the Iga Clan, they're prepared to do anything to take them down, be it the NSC or Iga themselves.

Ittoki taking the reigns of the Iga Clan is only a matter of time, and justice is forever violated from now on.

This show is just so painfully mediocre man. It’s not awful, but it doesn’t do anything well either. Like this episode was OK with the sham “trial” resulting in the mom being sentenced to death, but it never gripped me or anything. Ittoki as a character is so just so annoying for some reason whenever he speaks I get annoyed.

I had to think a moment to remember who the girls were, just forgettable for me. I like where the plot is going with the adults, but I'm assuming the MC will go back to school now. Wonder how that will work out.

can't wait for the next couple of episodes where ittoki suddenly becomes op and wins but spares the villain cause "we can understand eachother and i don't want you to become like that" scene.

This episode was a snooze fest. Could've slept through on it.

The grand ninja council gathers the ninja clan for discussion. Talks of Koga being an aggressor was supported by Bizen and the Iga tribe with evidence. Thus having the Koga chief be taken in to get arrested.

However, at the last second, there was a blurry video footage showing the Koga chief leader being killed as evidence. Emphasis on the audio and not the video quality they claim.
Iga's chief leader is also taken in.
The video footage turned out to be a fraud for the Koga clan to make their move. Those dirty bastards.

Ittoki serves as the active chief for Iga clan until his mother comes back.
The episode ends off with Ittoki's mom being sentenced to death.

What a fucked up day.

What an interesting thing, this mother finally has something of something, the one with the glasses could tell that something would happen to her, she felt her end, the reason for the Koga was also evident, although of course not everyone assumed it is normal but the decrepit Koga well You could tell even in his smile that his motive is to be powerful at all costs. It's not so much of a surprise that he had surprise contacts, it would be that he didn't have them.

Now what will happen to the ittoki's mother is something that is the most relevant thing in the story, I hope they don't kill her but we are talking about one of the disappointments of the season so the death of the oka-san would be the most shocking and important of the anime, and also to raise this thing that offered little or nothing, although if he dies we will have ittoki angry and acting like MC Seinen for real or we will see from chapter 8 to 11 his regrets and sadness and flashback and his complexes of not wanting to be a ninja and blah blah blah, they already know wanting to abandon everything as "cowardly but safe" and making dramas, and repeating the redhead finds out the truth and joins the useless and they start at most the defensive against the Koga

Definitely chapter 8 will decide if the anime offers a decent or good closure, or flatly they just gave us a sigh of uncertainty and there is not much action or relevance and the story completely decays

Seriously, what happens to Oka-san is key to the development of the story.

Don't kill megane boy, he's cute.

Laughing at the fact they're making Ittoki the substitute chief. Like, I know he's the rightful heir and everything, but he became a ninja like yesterday, he doesn't know anything. Give my boy Tokisada that job!

They literally used the "Zoom in...enhance" trope.

With how high-tech they're making out the ninja world to be...they seem to be lacking in the basic video editing department, still stuck in decades ago where it's still hard to spot forged audio/video a mile away.

Still waiting for this shit to get better.

All the clans are becoming vocal about their grievances with Koga. But a mole in the ninja police (whatever it is) presents evidence of Iga being the perps (It's probably a false flag within Koga)
I heard Togakure namedropped and I thought it was a Ninja Olympiad/Jiraiya reference, but it turns out they are a real tradition.
How long before the blond girl is exposed as a traitor or will Itokki still be naïve as acting leader while his mother is on death row?

It took seven weeks, but we finally got a good episode. The Council went a lot better than I expected, but things still got pretty messy, and it looks like it's gonna be a race against time to prevent an all out war. I'm still waiting for either Kirei to make her move, or for Ittoki and company to discover her true identity. However, I was surprised that Ittoki actually managed to compose himself and not do anything rash, and that he even took on the title of acting chief. Nice development on his part, though what he does with the title will determine how the rest of the season pans out. For the first time since episode one, I'm actually looking forward to this show lmao.

I have never liked Kousetsu, I think her attitude and personality are straight dogshit, not to mention it seems she can't stand Ittoki and now she doesn't bow to him when everyone else does? Idk, a lot else was happening this episode but that kind of caught me as strange. Hope his mother is saved and they catch Koga in whatever mess they're trying to make but damn, Kousetsu just pisses me off lol

It took almost half of its run for Shinobi no Ittoki to finally git gud, An unexpected development forces our hero to make an important decision while the Koga village prepares to attack. This episode did a fine job at building up tension and making me worry for the protagonist's well-being. If it this keeps up, Shinobi no Ittoki can wrap things up in a satisfying manner.
