| Every fantasy anime like this has to have slime monsters lol This was pretty average imo, including the main protagonist Kelvin. We got a lot of info dump though. Episode pretty much focused on Kelvin's adventure and its fantasy world for now. I guess we'll see the other main cast later on. They really need to develop his character imio. |

| Yelp, novelist Doufu Mayoi's source work here is just as expected...of a average, generic Isekai. Yet another Syosetu work that no doubt it's popular. The lead MC Kelvin's first dive into an Isekai after winning a lottery and then having his memories erased in the typical reincarnation manner, then having the Goddess of Reincarnation Melfina as his menu helper from love and affection, his very first "follower" who's now nothing but a waifu-fied menu. Getting all the entry levels down, Kelvin re-starts from his already-assigned profession as a Summoner from the ground up, with all the T&Cs of the fantasy world's ranks. And for a beginner, what's a good place to start than with slimes to know of what Kelvin's powers are for usage, most particularly the summoning phase to make a contract with monsters (a la Pokémon style). A decent start with Clotho the slime, and thank god Kelvin at this point isn't OP yet, but Clotho definitely was riling up to level up. The first beginner quest: completed, and Kelvin is onto the next corner...with slaves (that elf slave would be nice for a follower). But for now, everything feels like a stereotypical RPG game of the standard tried-and-true format. Just a decent start that foreshadows things for now. |

| This is one of the epic stories I know of, this first episode has a good animation for me but there was some information omitted that was crucial for beginner adventurers that I was hoping for... Yes, let me hope for this series to have a 2-cour and I hope it doesn't skip a single scene from the source or else... 4/5 for now. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Very very generic first episode. Wouldn’t be an isekai without slimes, goddess in love with mc, hints of sexual assault against beautiful elves with massive tits, slave trading and ending the night at an inn. Hopefully it picks it up as it goes, the LN is very popular so I know there’s potential here. Looks like they’ve already censored a design of a character tho which is never a good sign and so stupid to me. |

| Kelvin might not have his memories but he should be glad he’s not stuck with an alcoholic goddess with no skills aside from party tricks and an ability to purify water lol. Instead he seems to be in a party with Alexa haha. That first battle was probably the most intense fight I’ve seen against a slime. The way he “caught” the slime was sorta Pokémon-esque just in the way he had to lower its HP first before “catching” it lol. I’m not sure about the name “Clotho”, but the little critter sure is cute! Clotho used “quick attack” on that slime it fought. It’s super effective! Haha. Seems like he’s about to assemble quite the party in the near future starting with this elven Raphtalia lol. Looking forward to it! All in all, a pretty decent first episode for what seems like a pretty fun isekai. I’m a real sucker for isekai anime so this one’s for sure gonna end up on my weekly watchlist. |
| Episode 1 itself I think was good but there seem to be several problems surrounding the anime. Notably that they censored Rion's design massively (kinda worried what else they'll change) and that Gerard is cg. It's not new for armour covered characters to be cg but it's still annoying. I'll watch anyway though since I enjoyed the manga. |
| Well better start than the other slime summoner isekai we have this season. Though it does have even more of the generic isekai tropes. OP ability, adventure system, slaves, and so on. Been a while since I read this series but I'm pretty sure it was one of the more translated one, so it should at least be more popular, hopefully the series at least gets somewhere. |

Looking at her original design, it's really not very sexy or in need of censoring. I don't know what goes on in peoples' heads that they would go "Yep, this outfit that shows a bit of skin is too erotic for public television, let's cover her up!". Give it another 10 years and we'll unironically be looking at characters wearing burqas. Story was very basic, nothing too original. The slave stuff at the end had me wondering "Again?". It's like you have to include slavery in your show to be formally recognized as an isekai. Not sure I'll continue watching this, it's already not the most original isekai around and now that I know it will also be censored there's just no incentive. |

 Um, I might be overthinking this, but if his entire memories from his past life were erased, then shouldn’t he be brain-dead or something? He wouldn’t have a concept of isekai nor would dare to question his presence in the world before the goddess showed up Additionally, if his entire memory had been erased, it would include everything from his childhood when he learned to speak, read, listen, and anything else. Or maybe there was some caveat that he keeps his knowledge, but not his memories? If so then, it would make sense, I guess... but that will contract his memory sacrifice since his knowledge would directly come from his memories... Yeah, I’m definitely overthinking it.  Rimuru would say otherwise.  The man’s getting beat up by a slime. Too bad he didn’t practice kendo in his past life.  At least we saw his next partner in this episode. ALSO, WDF is there always a concept of slavery in isekais? “Isekai will never die. It’ll just get reincarnated into another world.” Anyway, it’s an isekai, so you can’t really expect much other than the generic stuff. At least the animation is decent; it’s no demon slayer, but at least is no Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer. (watched the first episode and didn't feel like putting it on my list) We’ll see what the next episode has in store for us. |

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |
| Pretty typical isekai premises and starting point, but seems to have an interesting setting and atmosphere, I like the interaction between the mc and the Goddess Melfina. |

I agree, I think that's the weakest part of the introduction. With no memories from the previous world, the ideas/concepts from it shouldn't be present in his mind. But I guess/assume he was preprogrammed with certain stuff because of godlike manipulations doing that. On the other hand, I do appreciate how the goddess comments about why she agreed to be his summon and about how this is basically her personal vacation lol. |

| I like how the story embraces the laziness of the whole 'isekai' part. MC happens to be in tune with the viewer/every other Isekai MC, while at the same time he conveniently has forgotten about his past life and was a gamer so that helps him out with understanding the status screen and stuff like that. In some other isekai stories like this, the introduction is usually (at least for me) not satisfying because "it might as well just be a regular fantasy" or things don't make enough sense, but with this show I'm alright with it. |

| I like it. I enjoyed it more than I expected. Clotho is such an adorable slime. I love his :3 face as he kills and cannibalizes his own kind xD. How bizarre it was to see a menu with Reina Ueda's lovely voice blushing. I like Melfina and it sounds like Kelvin was charming enough that she decided to take a vacation. I guess summoning her is the end goal for now, can't wait!.... Assuming we'll see her before the season ends. Looks like the elf will be the first to be added to the party, looking forward to it. |

| Seems like rather basic isekai. Although I like protagonist: he shows some character so maybe he won't end up being a dense self-insert. Plus he comes in package with a waifu, who at the very least seems to have fun personality. Another thing I appreciate in this episode is slave scene: he ignored it! Now that's something unusual and welcome. I mean, usually we'd seem our "nice guy" using his OP abilities to free the elf or spending all his cash on her (as if that was so cheap lol). |

Just because it's still the same body doesn't mean the person who wakes up a new world isn't a fundamentally different person. This shit bugs me enough in time travel type stuff, and this moron decides to erase himself for a few extra power ups... for fucks sake. |
