Also some of the comedy is quite repetitive. It’s usually people overly obsessing over her or trying to 1up her. The other jokes that don’t involve that I find funny.

It was somewhat funny, but most of it was cringe humor like “look how ZANY the characters are, Yamai is a kidnapper” and stuff like that. Funniest part about the show was the thought bubbles explaining what Komi really thinks throughout the show. The over-exaggerated side characters took a LOT from the show in my opinion.

Yesss exactly majority of the side characters worship her because she’s pretty to the point that it becomes creepy. I’m near the end of the anime it’s still solid, but without Tadano and Najimi being the only level headed characters, this show would suck.

It probably would've been actually good if they didn't try so hard to be a comedy. Take out the comedic aspect and just purely focus on Komi-san herself and her journey as she learns to open up to people, with Tadano's at her side helping her. Like the first episode... it was beautiful, and there was little to none of that obnoxious comedy that comes later.

For those who did find it funny, this anime will be good. For the rest of us who didn't find it funny, it sucks. If it fails to be the one thing it wanted to be (a comedy), then there's nothing else for us to take from this show.

The only thing I found comedic in the anime is Najimi to be honest. He/she is funny especially the way they talk. My personal fav character in the show and every scene I found funny involved her/him

I personally have only laughed out loud with 3 animes that I actually remember (probably couple more that I don't): Grand Blue, Prison School and Konosuba; this show was entertaining enough but damn I didn't even grin once, usually I get some reactions 💀

i have extremely low expectations for anime humor. The most this show did was give me a few chuckles. So it surpassed my expectations lol because anime funny just isn't funny to me. But it's still a great show for it's other aspects.

yh defiently wasn’t the funniest anime i’ve seen by a long shot. The humour is my dress up darling has really clicked with me so far tho i’ve laughed multiple times throughout watching the show. Komi was pretty good but not because of the comedy

I laughed at a few jokes about Komi, however all of the other side characters were not funny. If Komi and Tadano's relationship wasn't as cute as it was, my score would've been much lower. At this point I mainly watch it as a romance anime rather than a comedy one.

Yeah it’s pretty repetitive. Especially when ppl make bets or compete with Komi and all her friends that are girls being overly obsessed with her then worship her for a “comedic factor”

It's lacking in substance tbh. It's relying way too much on the notion that we as the audience will automatically enjoy the archetypes that the side characters represent. I didn't really find the show funny or wholesome for that matter. Just kind of boring, formulaic, and repetitive.

I thought it was fairly funny, despite repetitive, predictable jokes. I often have a hard time finding comedy I actually think is funny, so I chalk it up as a win. And that also directly attests to the point already made by several people, comedy is very subjective. I don't think most comedy is funny, but I liked this. You thought it wasn't funny, but I'm guessing you probably like some of the comedy I don't. Meh.

The minimum quantity and quality to stop the show from being stiff and awkward, but not really all that funny. I don’t mind though, because the show succeeded at being a nice slice of life. I didn’t feel that it tried to be a romcom and failed, y’know? Just had some romcom elements.
