| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ryou's friend is right tbh. He has to be prepared for the hurt when getting involved with any girl. Their little date (if it can be called that) was cute. Ryou always seems to compliment Ichika whenever he gets the chance. I actually felt bad when Ichika lied about being Ryou's sister in front of those women. I mean, you can see the surprise on his face after that. |

| What HigeHiro does, KoiKimo follows up in the same fashion. Glad that Ryo has finally given his answer, as is Ichika with Tamaru last episode. Now the only problem left is to match that age gap difference with Ichika which begets societal values, or stay the status quo by going for Matsushima instead. Whatever it is, hurt exists at every corner. Masuda's a wingman...an unfortunate one at that. The first "true" date for both Ichika and Ryo for a planned White Day date...and get a clue, you awful womanizer Ryo. Both being considerate for one another in public, it's not just "too sick", but "too HARD" to call this love, and all the expressions only done in private. Ryo being a decent guy for once is the biggest improvement awaited in a long while, though it took many hoop-de-loops to get over his playful personality. Breaking the news to Matsushima is a hurt for both parties, but am somehow relieved that they're able to talk things through and come to a resolution. The much-needed improvement episode to yearn for the soon-to-arrive ending. |

| Solid episode, addressing one of the major discussions of the series in general - that being the uncomfortable age gap - and ryo seems to really have matured a lot from the playboy woman killer to a more sweet and caring guy. Side note, was it just me that noticed the use of a tonne of weird transitions between scenes? Masuda is a true bro, spitting the advice whilst also making jokes to keep the mood calm and ryo finally figured out what he needs to do in order to make himself and the one he loves happy- stay genuine. Again I will preach to the stars but arietty is a whole different vibe, the most relatable and precious character in this series by far, drinking her sorrows away and then binging foreign shows to keep her mind off of things lmao. Ichika and ryo's date was quite cute, but ichika pretending to be rio definitely made that situation turn out more uncomfortable, especially when ryo was going to introduce her as his lover. But her obsessing over everything was cute though, running around like a little kid in an amusement park. Turns out the white day presentation was a banger indeed, as ryo nearly got the prized possession before ichika realised what she was doing, and the talk they had put a stark contrast to how they were at the beginning of the series so thumbs up for that, who doesn't like positive character progression eh? Arietty again shows her mature side by accepting that ryo can't reciprocate her feelings, understanding that she was in love with the ryo that was in love, not the other ryo. Kinda heart wrenching but again a great turn of events for story progression. KoiKimo started off slightly shaky, romanticising a weird age gap, but having self-reflection episodes such as these really puts into consideration that romaticising the situation wasn't the intention and as a romcom I can say I am loving the direction it's currently going in! Can't wait for the last two episodes, (I think it's two at least), as if they keep the current pacing, it should not dissapoint! |

| Ryo finally is realizing what's there is to this relationship between Ichika and Ryo. Is it socially acceptable? He's confused about what Arie told him but thanks to Masuda, his mind is back on the right track. Hurting someone is never a good option when you know you don't think the same way about them. Their date was pretty important to the relationship between them. It clearly solved a lot of questions people might have about them. How Ichika feel about everything? And, Ryo clearly saw that with his eyes. Poor Arie, I felt so bad for her. She's such an understanding person. She's in love with him. It was bound to hurt her after Ryo cleared his feelings toward her and told her to give up on him. I adore her so much. Best episode of this season imo. |

| Ryo changed because of Ichika and i like that part of the anime ver y much.Matsushima i feel sorry for her that must be hard to the person that she love give up on me. Ichika plays ryo sister that was a little random but i understand why she does that.Im curious what happened in the next episode between them two. |

| Feeling really sad for Ariette, she is a good girl and would deserved "the win" as well...but love is indeed not about winning or losing. I have to say I like Ryo as a person more and more (and more than the girls here). He develops in a different gentlemen but is not afraid of anything. Really like the point that he would tell his co-workers that "This is the girl I love." |

| I felt bad for Arietty when she was rejected, she's a great person and deserves nothing but the best. :( Ichika and Ryo's date was nice but Ichika having to pretend to be Rio in front of others made me a little sad. Hopefully, she can get to the point where she stops caring. Ryo seems determined to make it work which is great. |

| Man what a fucking episode. The best Koikimo ep we’ve had yet by far. Ichika and Ryo’s date was adorable, Ichika getting jealous over the thought of Ryo having taken another girl to a buffet was so innocent and cute. The kiss attempt was sweet and their overall energy today was really cute. On the other hand, I felt gutted for Arrie. We already knew she really had no chance here, but to see her get rejected and then crying alone in the metro station… pain. She deserves to be happy. Can’t believe there’s only two weeks left of this. I’m going to miss this show so much. |

| Not the kind of drama i've been waiting for. But, holy shit, it was smooth af. Or rather i must say, finish quickly. Yeah, Ryo just need one dude to prepare everything, and already solidified the problem with Arietty on one single episode conclusion. Oh well. At least its fine enough with the whole sweet transition in the middle, and the bgm really suit well to the whole situation. So i think this episode is a fair one. Not forget to mention about Ichika reaction, tho. Moreover about how its her actually being the one whose tried to be more mature adjusting the Ryo's annoying creep nature. Oh wow. Nice output, girl! But she still rejected that kiss attempt. Straight meh! Well, the one that get hurt surely just for Arietty only. Its an obvious result. So, yeah, hope you can be moving on asap, sweety. At least you already trying hard against those awfully creep dude. You deserved that cookies .... |

| This episode went by so quickly, but poor Arie for being rejected by Ryo. Ichika and Ryou go on their unofficial date for white day and it just so happens his co workers were at the same place. When it came time for Ryo to introduce her Ichika lied and told them that she was Ryo's sister. I know Ichika was trying to cover for him, but that was very insensitive on her part. I would have been very upset with Ichika if I was in Ryo's shoes. Now Ryo is second guessing the relationship with Ichika because of the age gap. |

| Solid episode, smooth transitions, wholesome in its own way and just a very naturally-developing story vibe to it. Ryo's best pal spoke truth there. Ryo has really developed as a character quickly. Felt bad for Matsushima, but it's better this way than hurting her in the long run since he isn't into her in that way. Gotta say Kana Hanazawa really delivers with her, such a great range she has. Watching this show is always just super relaxing. It's a nice palette cleanser after Higehiro which I find to be not as good, therefore I watch it normally before this. |
| Awesome episode, Ichika and Ryou unofficial second date was so cute (OMG, the scene where Ryou was about to kiss Ichika I WAS SCREAMING SO LOUD FROM EXCITEMENT: I wish it was for reals, LOL!!!!!) (sigh) xD, so yeah, but I felt bad for Ryou when Ichika lied she was his sister a front of his co-workers while he wants everyone to know she the one he's in love with ( that serious look on his face even I would offer a piece of my cake to cheer him up, nice one Ichika coming from the same fork she was using (in a indirect kissing scene without Ryou even noticed, and normally he'll been over thrilled by it, still a sweet scene I have to say). :) Now we seeing Ryou has thinking too much about the issue with his and Ichika's age difference would interfere with their relationship, after Masuda give him an advice in situation he currently in, there Ryou decided to follow his heart in not giving up the affection he has for Ichika and properly decline of responding Arie's feeling: it's for the best to stay true to themselves and being honest: Seeing Ryou new development of his character made me love him more as a character: I'm happy to see Ryou wants to reach out what he feels in his heart, not letting go in what's important to him. This is a test of how strong Ryou and Ichika's love really is by overcoming this obstacle, passing will only create their love bond even stronger and yes I'm so dying to see in what's to come, I can't wait!!!! |
| Pretty mediocre episode outside of Ryu doing the right thing for once letting his co-worker's offer down slowly and respectfully. The date was just rough to watch and that move at the end? Ay caramba. |

| Fantastic episode! Definitely my favorite episode so far. They way Ryo develops is great and how the rejections and the age gap problem is handled maturely is awesome. Matsushima is precious, I hope she can find happiness with someone else, I mean c'mon anyone would love an otaku wife. Ryo and Ichika's date was cute, as much as it sucks for Ryo that Ichika lied, it's for the best right now. I am sure those ladies would spread that info like wildfire if they find out lmao. The ED song is one of my favorites this season, I just love how it enhances the ending scenes, and it's a banger of course. |

| You can see the pain in Ryou's face when Ichika said they're siblings. Her intention to cover for him was nice, but still. Trying to be "socially acceptable" can be such a bother, really. |

| I like how Ichika is into him now too, she even bought a dress to wear for him lol. I like how both of them are actually progressing and not just Ichika, Ryou is actually changing, dude is like a different character from the early eps. Wonder how this series is gonna wrap up. |
