| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- > The moment we show weakness, we die Ouch, a tough world. It looks like Bam remembered some important words from her mother, to trust in himself. I guess Bam still believes in Rachel. Rak still brings in the turtle jokes in his dialogues. Looks like the next test they got has a time limit. The objective to open the door sounds simple on paper but yeah, they definitely made this more intimidating than it appears to be. Got to see a bit more of Anak but I hope they give the character more screen time in upcoming episodes. |

| Hmmm... It was a good episode, i really like this kind of mind games and i think they adapted it very well. But the Annak fight scene was better in the webtoon, she doesn't look so strong in the anime adaptation(But maybe it's just my imagination). |

| Let’s goooo, been a long time since I’ve been this excited to watch a show every week We get some valuable insight into Khun’s backstory and how it’s made him the person he is Bam noticing the sky for the first time was really cute Really liked the message that you just have to go with your gut sometimes. Overthinking and overanalysing situations is a waste of time. That contrast between Rak and Khun make them a perfect team Great episode, next week shit’s gonna go down, can’t wait. If the series stays on this path it’ll definitely be one of my AOTY contenders |

| Lizard girl is best girl, the crown game is incredible, I only want more "battle of wits" games. I also wonder if the girl as the end is really Rachel |

| This episode was kinda boring. The first test in this episode was so unsatisfying and plain boring without much thought, only some backstory of characters. |
| Yeah man.I am liking this show a lot.The third test was brilliantly made up,never seen such thing before in an anime.It was basically about Khun's trust issues and this test made it clear.Liking all the characters exept the MC.I mean he is such a bland guy.I don't know when will he awaken his 'inner potential' or this luck thing will continue with him.Great fight scenes.That Annak is impressing a lot.All positives in this episode except for the MC.Till now I have never once felt like Bam is the MC |

| Seems like Khun has a sad backstory... I wanna know more! He seems like a very complex character; I feel like the fact that he's been betrayed may actually lead to him betraying someone. I really like the concept of this latest task so I can't wait to see Bam's team participate. That lizard girl seems so over powered so I bet it'll be an awesome fight (if she still has the crown when they join). Wait, if that's Rachel, how did she enter the tower after Bam? |

| This episode added a lot more depth to Khun's backstory than what we'd gotten in the webtoon at the same point. The episode only covered 3.5 chapters so the pacing was really nice and they stayed faithful to most of the character interactions in this episode. It's really picking up now and it's just gonna get more and more exciting. |
| Still leaves a lot to be desired, but I enjoy it more and more with every episode. Especially the characters are growing on me. |

They are also trying way too hard to turn Rak into a meme character, he's very annoying in the Anime. Khun's struggle during the third test was pretty cool in the Manhwa, and pretty cringy in the Anime. The beginning of the crown game is kind of disappointing as well. The moment with Anaak blowing everyone away and putting on the crown gave me goosebumps in the Manhwa, and they turned into a comedy scene instead. But other than those few complaints, the episode was fine. The next episode should be the first highlight episode if they do it well. The pacing should be fine later on because the fight scenes can be adapted very quickly without feeling rushed at all. Some of the fight chapters can be adapted in as less than 2-3 minutes and done well. I agree about Rak. He was serious + funny in the webtoon but they're turning him into a total comic relief to the point that anime onlys might find it annoying. I thought Khun's backstory was more fleshed out here and him getting a reason to protect Baam's trusting eyes is something that adds more depth to their relationship. I thought that was for the better. I think Anak's fight was good too, and anime onlys did pretty much feel similar to what we did reading the webtoon. It's just that we already know what happens so we're not as surprised by it. That surprise element was the goosebumps moment in the webtoon. They could've done better but it was pretty good regardless. |

| 4/5 episode, I admire when Anime have mind games in them like the door test. Next episode I can't wait to see if Rachel and Ban interact with each other, Possible betrayal. |

But we see bam's pov in the whole story. Don't spread wrong information please. Bam is the singular main protagonist of the series. Rachel has been mentioned as the "female lead" by SIU but that doesn't make the series have 2 main protagonists. |
| Another week another weak episode of ToG. What the hell was that 3rd test? Open any door and you win? Really? What a challenge it is to climb this thing. Also, the animation still feels choppy and the comedy is still bad. I wanted to give this time to evolve, but 3 episodes in and I still have no idea what's going on and why certain things are happenning. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt to see if it got better this week, but it didn't. I usually abide by the 3 episode rule, and I now know for sure that I won't be continuing this series. Also, the whole "I opened this one random door on instinct and it's the right one" thing made me want to just close my tab and end it there, even if it got cleared up later as "open any door to win" (which, tbh makes even less sense), on the moment it actually felt as if this series was trolling. Overall this 4th test looks to be the first actual "test" that will actually test people for their worth, but the outcome is obvious, Bam and his crew fluke it and win. So far all these tests have felt completely pointless and based on luck, this one seems to be based on actual skill but hey Bam's the hero he won't lose! Mod Edit: Removed baiting. |

| The only thing that i'm not satisfied with is the action scene, it's decent and not bad but i expected better than this, eh maybe i should not, and just keep my expectation at the lowest. Overall nice episode. |

| Trust folds, a lesson about being decisive, must protecc Baam and somewhat of ship. So much to be learned from the 3rd test. The 4th test has me worried. I fear there is going to be a lot of blood and more 'dropouts'... |

| yessss I’m so excited for the next episode. Shiz is about to get real!! Anaak looked so cool in the crown game, and I really like how they did Khun’s backstory this episode. The anime keeps getting better and better! Despite the fast pace of it all i’m still really enjoying it so far. Hoping the rush to adapt the chapters into 13 episodes doesn’t bring the rest of the episodes down. but for now, 5/5 from me. |

That crocodile guy - Words can't describe how annoying he is, reminds me of that boar headed guy in Kimetsy no Yaiba. Blue haired kid, Sergio Kun Aguero: Is your discount Killua. I don't hate him that much compared to the other two, but can't say that I like his behavior, especially his nonchalant attitude. |

| Love the music and love how they had bits and pieces of mystery to each character that doesn’t feel like narration for the audiences sake also I don’t remember Rachel having freckles can’t wait for ep 4 :) |

| I want to see Anak fight more, she's badass. But she can't since she's sitting on the chair now lol but I guess now that means we get to see Hatz fight, and he's another character that I want to see in action more as well. Also, it sucks that several shows that I had planned to watch this season were delayed, but maybe the episode threads for this show can restore that lost entertainment if future threads look like today's xD |

| Awesome episode. Anaak looked really cool in that episode, and the animation with her weapon was really sweet, and the music used in the Crown Game and even the Hansung Test portions was great as usual from Penkin. The Crown Game is the first real test in my eyes in Tower of God when reading it, so I'm excited to see this further in the next episode. |
