| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's a fine start so far. The character that made the most impression imo so far is Hakuto. Besides that, we also got that cute Aku girl. Their on-screen character chemistry is cute although I do find that Aku girl a bit timid. They pretty much introduced the two main characters and the show's general premise. So from here, expecting the pacing to pick up more soon. Oh and we got to see a glimpse of Hakuto's abilities. |

| WHY DO I GET THIS FEELING AS IF WE'VE WATCHED Overlord ALL OVER AGAIN??? The male protagonist is just like Ainz Goal Oown, just simplified and dumb-down. Oh, and he sounds old as compared to young-sounding Ainz. And the blonde girl Aku...the Ram/Rem lookalike...copy-paste??? Setting is just like Overlord with Shield Hero tactics and Rimuru resolve. Again, copy-paste. Seems too ambitious for a new studio that just did the 3-min short Fumikiri Jikan (or Crossing Time). And looks like another author who is just crazed at taking the isekai scene to another level...sorry, it ain't the pinnacle yet. Another sub-par isekai, and a below-average one at that. | Lol. It is the new low of the isekai genre, by all measures: the writing, the sakuga and the directing. It's even worse than isekai smartphone, which is a 1/10 but at least it has got less laughably low-effort art. |

| I'm feeling tired again... I guess this is supposed to be like Overlord with the nerd playing as a demon lord, except he looks and acts like a shady sexual deviant. Long dark hair, trench coat and suit with what looks like a harem of children. wtf why was he spanking one of the little girls in the op. Genuinely afraid of how bad this will get, I hope no one in real life finds out I watched this. At least knock-off Rem wasn't naked when she randomly appeared. Wow, the art was awful, the backgrounds were some of the worst I've seen in a while, and the animation was so stiff. I'm still gonna watch it. Here's to hoping Arifureta is more exciting than this forgettable junk. |

| This is just a poor man's Overlord with Re.Zero style charter's. Pretty poor start, it's exactly the same premise as Overlord but with none of the cool charcter designs or thought that went into that series. Also I've no idea how old that blond Rem knock off is but do we really need an older man Loli harem? I want to see how bad this gets but that first episode was boring. |

| It was a pretty good first episode love the main two already. Aku adorable AF ! Love the quick comedy as well. Bit fast pace but I hope that's just cause they want to get the setup out the way. |

| This show has a good premise but it is being executed poorly. The Idea of a Character being Isekai'd to a world that THEY THEMSELVES CREATED is good and a bit original (At least I hadn't seen it done) but the way it was done was not that interesting. It was also filled with poorly handled Cliches. They were atleast self aware of it to some extent. The Animation felt a bit Sloppy. Never truly bad but a bit sloppy. Its good for a Studio's second Anime but not the best animation around. I will Continue watching it But I will probably en up dropping it after episode 3 |

| Welp here's the seasonal does of isekai trash. Literally, the only thing that felt different was the protag being 45 yrs old and not some OP teenage boy.
