| This is soo Hollywood they've been watching the OC and One Tree Hill way too much. Both Nanas lead such messed up lives even before they reach 20! Hell even before they reach 18! Its almost depressing to see in anime format! Where's the girl that makes us dream, transport us into another world where hopes and dreams happen; the idealistic girl with family, optimism, the innocent princess who conquers her foes and win hearts through her love, friendship and loyalty? Heck where's the romance and courtship gone? Is it all about jumping in bed!?! Where are the heroines types from School Rumbles and Sailor Moon hiding? Instead we get the typical Western teenage flick treatment Hollywood stye: sex, booze, sex, dumping school, sex, smoking, sex and sex. Only violence is missing in the lot so far - but we don't know this, there might be some further down the road... nothing better to remind you how boring and depressing the real world is I guest! |

No one that's actually watching NANA is that messed up...well I doubt anyone is. But the drama, this entire anime feels so raw. So REAL to me, and I'm sure many other fans, with much input from reviewers feel the same way. This show isn't gonna give you optimistic high schoolers who fight villains on a daily basis and manage to get a kiss out of a guy after about 24 eps. -"boring and depressing| >>? Huh, last time I checked, life isn't as happy-go-lucky as you make it out to be. -It bothered me how you compared that. If you can't handle some of the things that people go through then that's your deal. There are people who go through these troubles. After 4 eps, I already feel that this has been a great experience and I'm glad I came across it. -I hope you've moved on to another anime, as you do not seem to be enjoying this one. |

| ...on another note~ -Really enjoying the english voice actors, think they fit their roles perfectly. Just now realized how well the OP is made too. The soundtrack is superb and it was fitting to use Rocker Nana's band BLAST, as the themes. |
| Still feeling what I've been feeling up to now. It's too realistic to be real, life isn't as life-like as it seems. And it's kinda depressing to watch... Nevertheless it's interesting so I'll keep going. |

| Ah...To be honest, this is really...too realistic. LOL I'd rather see happier things happen in anime. Unrealistic things. XD Everyone's having sex so easily with others. From episode 1 up to episode 4, I can already foreshadow that something bad will happen between both Nana couples. =/ It seems pretty perfect for them right now. I kind of want to drop this anime and I kind of want to give it another chance. I dunno. I kinda hate rock music, and I skip the rock scenes from this anime... I also hate the art style. It's overly realistic for me. :C |

| She fell in love again, and hooked up with Shouji. The other Nana's story is sad, and even more compelling. She and Ren are the same since they didn't have traditional parents. Nana and her are also the same since they were abandoned by their lovers. |

| So that was the first Nana's backstory and in the middle we've started with the second Nana's backstory, it started quite interesting so let's see what happens next! Imo the second nana's backstory is a bit more interesting! |

| Surprisingly we got to Nana2's story very quickly.Wait...was she a prositute or was that guy joking? Anyways now I'm able to see the parallel of Nana.It's about two girls from two different walks of life who share the same name and have come to Tokyo to chase after their lovers.I agree Nana2's story is way more entertaining |

So both Nana are going to Tokyo after their boys? hmmm... Black Nana story is better, but also similar to white Nana. Everyone goes to Tokyo - I want too! :D oh yeah and lets not forget the sex scenes with some lame boobs drawing :| art is not best thing in this anime (face, emotions, expressions). |
