| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, Chinatsu actually initated a discussion about dance at school despite the awkward moment at the ballroom. Really nice to see Hongou making her appearance this episode. What a beauty! I can't help but smile at how much of a fangirl Chinatsu is when she met her. Good episode with the pacing and still quite faithful to the manga. Tatara and Chinatsu still has a rather rocky relationship so far.  Tatara still has a lot to learn. Hongou's body movement were definitely skilled, at least compared to him. Chinatsu shows potential as well as a dancer. |

| Hongou is the new best girl lol, that hug scene was too great xDD Great episode overall though, I'm really impressed with how skilled Chinatsu seemingly is and I'm looking forward to seeing her and Tatara grow as partners because the chemistry between them is already really good |

| Lol, dat cover was hot af. Very good comedy driven episode, had to chuckle over a few scenes. At first I couldn' t believe my eyes,when I saw Banba, the new look suit her,tho. Sengoku and Hongou are just a treat to watch, especially the latter one, it was so funny when she kept punching that poor guy xD And Chinatsu showed what she got, really looking forward to Tartaras growth after he learns her technique and make it his own. |

| Hongou is a great character. She's very beautiful. Her hugging Chinatsu was funny. Chinatsu is a huge fan of her. She's quite skilled at dancing. Looking forward to see how she and Tatara are going to grow as partners. He still has much to learn. |

| Great episode as always, pretty funny too. Hongou for best girl, she's way too awesome. XD I love Chi-chan as well, she has her own quirky tsundere kinda personality and I love it. xD Interesting that Chi-chan seems to be more experienced with leading that following, it was kinda nice see Tatara realize how difficult the partner's poses were. I suppose Tatara will now learn what leading truly means. Looking forward to more. |

| Great episode. I love the additions of Hongo & Chinatsu in this show. That hug was so sweet & funny. Chinatsu is pretty good at leading. Tatara has got himself a tricky partner. Nice to hear that Kiyoharu is back & better than ever. |

| Ah yes, the preferance towards Chinatsu is coming through. What a great lead. Tatara finally realised what he was missing from becoming phantom 6th man a shadow. I’m glad to hear that Kiyoharu is back competing, because he’s my favourite (for now). |

| So Chinatsu DID dance before, huh... she is a difficult character to deal with, but I didn't expected to see her shyness and cling behind Tatara o.o And the hug scene was awesome and cute too X33 Already the competition next episode? Can't wait :D |

| Hongou: "Tatara, you need a partner. Bring Chi-chan!" Tatara: "We don't exactly get along..." Hongou: "Well look at us!" *gestures towards Sengoku*. LOL, that was the funniest moment in this episode for me. Glad to see Hongou become a regular in the show now. Now we can expect some hilarious reactions for the rest of the series! Also, them watching in the back eating potato chips while Tatara and Chinatsu practice dancing. I always find this hilarious for some reason. More animation for the second half! Where was this in the first half? Were all those still frames used to demonstrate Tatara as a novice? And as he gets better, the animation does too? Well you better stay consistent this time, Production I.G! So Chinatsu has danced before. I guess the development for her is understanding why she quit. Well I got three guesses: 1. Her parents told her that dancing is a waste of time, so they told her to quit and focus on studying. 2. She was forced into dancing by her parents, which is why she is good at it but at the same time despises it. 3. She got cucked by her partner. |

I hope they keep going with Chinatsu as the leader and Tatara following -- that will make this series even more awesome. And I'm looking forward to seeing more of Kiyoharu, though I'm also liking the "milder" Gaju-kun now that the whole Tenpei Cup is over. No Shizuku this episode though. :-/ |

| That episode felt so short and i really love the new opening. Chi-chan is an experience leader dancer and every time Hongou is in screen is great. Tatara really has so much to learn in so little time. |

By that I don't mean the op/ed but the background music Love Hongou - everyone was always going on about how Chinatsu is the best girl, but think I like Hongou way more (even though she doesn't have that much screen time compared to chinatsu) took me a while to stop thinking of Chinatsu as annoying while I was reading the manga -_- Look at Gaju, being all friendly with Tatara now - love it! |
| A full episode with Chi-chan is like I expected, amazing fun to watch! Now this series will get to the next level surely, the real deal starts NOW folks, before was just a warm up. Best girl will put fire on that stage~~ To note that, they are aiming to add till the end of the current arc the manga is on, they have skipped some minor scenes, while before this episode they were mostly adapting 1 chapter per episode, this episode adapted 2 chapters, roughly 100 pages with some skips here and there, which I can compromise with, since if you are going to do proper development for Tata and Chi, you cant just stopped before it fully blooms. Next episode should also cover another 2 chapters, at least chapter 22 & 23 of volume 6, dropping us right in the middle of the heat!! Knowing what comes next, and having faith on what the studio did this episode, keeping that up... it is just going to keep better and better, waiting will be hard even knowing the manga~~ <3  kyoudai said: This was an awesome episode! No Shizuku this episode though. :-/ That is quite unrealistic, on ballroom dancing with mixed categories (men and women), the men's job is being the leader, the women follow, that is just the rules, and that is not changing here. Chinatsu is great at leading and bad at following, and Tata never learnt proper leading, and is good on following since he is a very observant kinda of guy... they will have to learn together, and that is part of the charm for the next episodes, since Chi-chan will need some really strong lead to lead her, someone she finds a good enough leader, that she can follow. |

| This was a really solid episode. Hongo is one fun character to watch and I hope we get to see more of her in the later episodes, as her chemistry with Sengoku is pure gold. =D Chinatsu is certainly becoming more interesting. Seeing her lead Tatara at the end of the episode showed just how much the poor lad has still got to learn about ballroom dancing. Hopefully, the both of them will become a better dancing pair as they look to be in a competition next episode, so I hope they'll do good. We also got a lot of fluid dancing animation too, which is really nice to see. I hope Production I.G will keep this up for the rest of the series now. =) |
| Dyiiing. I really enjoyed this episode so much; I was laughing so hard throughout. I think I'm slowly liking Chinatsu and her being a very mysterious person like I swear she's hiding something and idk what it is. Lmfao. HOLY SHIT. KAREN-SAN LOST WEIGHT AND SHE'S SO GORGEOUS. OHMYGOD. OHMYGOD. I literally had the same reaction with Tatara and that guy 'WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!?!?!?' Hahaha. Epic! I can literally relate to Chinatsu being a fangirl. Haha. Waaaaah. I'm so happy seeing Hyoudou again. Ohmygod. Baby, you're looking more gorgeous. What the fuck. So happy for Tatara being friends with previous rival, Gaju. Hehe. Tatara being the girl and following the lead of a female. I can't. I just noticed that there's a Romance tag. Or has it been there since then? What. What. I don't think it was there before? Or this arc will have a romance between Tatara and Chinatsu no wonder why the ED looks like a rom-com anime that it makes me so uncomfortable? Lmfao. I honestly can't stand the new ED. Ugh. |

| For now, I really don't like the attitude Chinatsu is showing to us...but let's see how her character development will improve! Banba Karen suddenly lost weight instantly! LOLZ! WOW! Hongo-san is actually pretty gorgeous! What's up with Chinatsu!? She's very hypocritical against dancing...maybe because of she quit dancing cuz something on the past happened??? Hyodo is back from his injury!!! and wants to compete again with Tatara! Oh no! this is the hard part, looks like Fujita & Chinatsu is doing a bad start at dancing! Looks like inferiority complex to me! Chinatsu doing the lead! like a total inverse! Definitely Chinatsu has clearly more experience than Fujita! wonder it made her quit dancing!?? 5/5. |

| That was so good! I loved the first arc but I am loving the flow and all the changes. Same as last week I am loving the broship with Gaju and Tatara, Karen's weightloss had me smiling. I loved hearing about the dance couple's matchmaking and I was cheering when Gaju said Hyoudou was back and better than ever and day-um did he look HOT! Great episode! hate having to wait a whole week for my fix. |

| I really like these series if only it wasn't for the dancing animation...... Everything is fine until they start to dance. When they dance it seems so unnatural i would call it closer to creepy than beautiful... Is the manga art like that too ? |
| I am coming to like Chinatsu, seems that she might had some problems with dance (or a partner) in the past, coz she said she quit dancing...she is a natural leader it seems. Her moment with Hongou was cute! |
