| Holy sugar. My heart actually hurts, I felt so stressed over Nodame all through the episode. Darn it, that was supposed to put me to sleep happily, not crazily on edge. Amazing episode, can't wait 'till next week to see what Milch is going to do. And Chiaki. Off to go watch some Hetalia to calm down. |
| Wow, haha. The ending was a good comic relief... haha, good old Milch. But, oh man, this episode was so hear aching-ly awesome. |

| Amazing episode. Rui's play, Nodame's confession, Milch's return. I already found Finale the best season so far, but this episode really did it. My favorite Nodame Cantabile episode so far. We're off to a 10/10 score here. |

| That ending was very confusing O.O i am left speechless. Does that mean she will start touring with Streseman or something? Will that really help her? Guess she will obviously embrace music 'wholeheartedly'. I feel bad for Nodame because Chiaki always thinks of her as a joke. =( |

| Chiaki's reaction to the sudden proposal was horrible. He could sense that things weren't right with her, but passed it off as her usual joking. Seeing and listening to her play that piece in front of Milch was painful. Milch picked a great time to show up and it came as no surprise when he offered Nodame the opportunity to perform with him. |

| The only way I can put it is this: This episode is the reason I watch animated series. But at the same time, I weep for the wreckage that was Paris Hen. Properly paced and animated, as this series is, it could have been 2 seasons of epic win instead of a truncated blur of lost opportunities. |

| Grrr... Chiaki.. man.. up!!! If Nodame asked me to marry her, I would said yes, when I get back from this trip in Italy. Her + Stressman = I don't know, but it can't be good for her at all... | I adored that episode!!!! It was beautiful, lol - I was bawling by the time Nodame was crying :) It was just the most emotional, purest episode. I think this is as defeated and as dark as we have seen Nodame. I did not want this episode to end. I think this episode made me edge this towards a masterpiece! I can't wait until the next episode... why only 11 episodes!? |

| The magic circle and whole "come to the darks side" was a tribute to "Faust", and it is what Mephistopheles is saying while making a deal with the main character. It is also the opera that Chiaki observes. |
| Amazing episode. I was close to tearing up at one point. Not much I can say, except that I'm excited for what's going to happen to Nodame next. |

| Haha at Nodame badmouthing Rui's performance before it even started, jealousy of course. And Chiaki hesitating for the first time when she asked 'or me?', haha priceless. (Instead of always getting back to comical relief by hitting her..) And one thing I still don't like, but I guess that's just in their character, is that they still don't act and look like a couple to me. That hurts. + for free opera performance. |

| ^^ Agreed. Chiaki is so cold to Nodame that i am still unsure if he thinks of her as his girlfriend. Of course this is due to the comedic value of that personality, but when i think about it Chiaki just seems more of a jerk. >.< |

I don't know if Nodame was trying to run away from reality or actually facing it, but it must've been a shock for Chiaki, and maybe that is why he acted as if it was a joke. Nevertheless, I'm so excited to see what happens in the last chapters. You gotta love this show. |

Is it not possible that Chiaki's indecisiveness could have lost him Nodame forever? Stresemann definitely has a chance to dazzle Nodame and possibly even make her fall in love with him since Chiaki has basically ignored her ambitions and intentions all along. Chiaki needed to comfort Nodame not flat out deny her marriage request. Franz just might get lucky here. Chiaki is definitely going to be in a world of hurt if he loses Nodame, particularly to Milch. I think we all know that they can't end this show like that though, can they? It's going to be interesting to see what happens next. |

| This was a weird episode. I'm dumbfounded by the end, and I didn't feel like Kon got Nodame's frustration across clear enough. Maybe I don't mean clear enough...I mean that I wanted to feel for her more than I did because I understand those feelings, but the direction just didn't bring it home. That said, Ayako Kawasumi really sold Nodame in her voice performance. We got a spectrum of her emotions, and she really just delivered on every front. I'm also back to facepalming at Chiaki's lack of tact. I really thought he'd know what to say to her, but he fails yet again. |
| Tense. This was such a good episode.....and we get a lot of "serious" Nodame screen time. |

| WTF is with the dark magic circle at the end? It made no sense at all. Even if Stresemann was intending to take her away to give her the joy of music again, it made NO sense what so ever to actually give him the role of hte bad guy. |
| I think the whole evil Milch scene at the end was more of a parody than anything else, specifically a kurushitsuji parody. but that may just be completely wrong, though i still believe it's a parody of some sort. |

| Hands down, best episode of the entire series. Well, except for the end. It felt a bit overdone and killed the mood. |

| I think everyone thinking this is the best episode of the whole NC series is wrong. Wait for the next one before you judge it so. :P |
