| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, the show got more serious again with actual battle between the magical girls. Koyuki also faces off against some challengers as well but I guess she's not doing so well considering she's inexperienced. Mary's still cruel as expected. Twins suffering. Oh boy, I feel like a lot happened this episode. Girls with big dreams. I'm rooting for Koyuki though. |

| Well i did expect someone to die this episode i just didn't expect it to be ruler. This was an interesting twist but it makes sense after seeing the dream two weeks ago. I guess this anime isn't that predictable, in all honestly i thought Souta was the one who would die. This is interesting. |
| RIP. They really shorted the timing between the whole candy distribution and the announcement, so it could actually seem like it's not logical from an anime viewer only. Hey, look, it's Alice. This is interesting. I'd say that this one in the anime was fairly predictable to anyone who recognised the silhouette of SwimSwim as the girl fro the dream. Although I'd bet that no one who predicted that was thinking that it would come before far later in the show. |

| I kinda figured it out when they saw something surprising about the candies, but I didn't expect Ruler to die here. Though I had the feeling Swim Swim would betray her at some point... Finally Alice!!! I really like her design, I hope she's going to be interesting~ |

| Queen is dead! Ruler is dead! All hail new queen! Lady Swim-Swim! The betrayal was predictable since Nemurin death. The moment of this was predictable since beginning of this episode. When you get a backstory, than you have high chance to die. Overall it was nice and enjoyable episode. But one thing bothers me. Numbers... They just ridiculous. Swim-Swim before this attack had 800 candies, Snow White 50 000... Really?! |
| Good episode. Totally did not expect Ruler to die, Well I didn't really like her all that much, Though her flashback was kind sad with her boss completely rejecting her proposals. Coup de tat staged by Ruler's sub ordinates and it worked out. Damn 50k candies on Snow White, Just how much work did she do? New girl next episode, Can't wait to see how this is gonna play out. |

Maybe the way you die is connected to your persona somehow? Like Nemurin liked to sleep so she died in her sleep? Like blood was coming out of Ruler/Sanae's mouth so maybe she died of internal brain bleeding? The power had certainly gone to her head, so... idk, that's just my guess until further notice. |

She died in her blood, hence why there's some here and there. on her clothes and finger, but that's it. Whereas others have to run around searching for something to do, Snow white is getting more infos about peoples in need than she actually can manage alone, so not only can she go from one to another non stop but she can even select the most pressing matters, and she's been spending more time per day doing it than anyone else to boot, as she truly enjoy saving peoples rather than doing it because it's a duty/forced to not be dropped out. |

She would need to rescue people from 125 similar situations to achieve that. There of course some smaller problems she can help people, but those should naturally give her even less candies. |

| Damn didn't expect a coup to happen. What more surprising is that Nemurin visited Swim-swim in her dream and that's what urged the overtaking. I did feel like ruler would die, because we got her backstory. Enjoyable episode overall. |

| Glad that this anime is trying to be more then just "hur dur despair" The most surprising part was the swim swims personality. I though that deep down she hated ruler, but no she just wanted to be one her self even tho she actually liked her. |
| Now if only they didn't make it so obvious that Ruler was going to die. Last episode I expected the dog girl to die for questioning orders, but the moment the episode started it was obvious that Ruler will bite the dust lol. Will anime ever learn how to write a story properly? It would be surprising if she didn't die. Also dat Umai Osake. |

| Just like that Ruler is gone, damn. Ruler has been the only character that I really enjoyed and she's out already. I figured she'd die at some point but this soon? Well, time to start rooting for someone else. |

| I thought Souta was going to end up having to sacrifice himself for Snow White, which seemed to be foreshadowed last episode, but it looks like I was wrong. Ruler had it coming though, being a dictator isn't always the way to go. |

| Alright episode. Swim Swim's turned her back on Ruler now and pretty much killed her off, lessening the competition. Wonder what the new magical girl will be like. |

Also dat Umai Osake. its true that this is a typical case of "characters background story in the middle of a battle royal = death" but as a build up it was executed well enough in my opinion.Just because something is predictable does not mean that its bad writting. Also like i said previously swim swims motive was pretty unpredictable since its usually hate that causes betrayal. |
| Swim's pretty cunning. That was a pretty disturbing situation though I was liking Ruler in the last 3 episodes, but seeing how she has such a big ego among other things this episode made me dislike her. Thought she cared more for her friends/subordinates. Can't say I'm all too sad she died. |

| So, one of the twins turns into an animal and the other one into an object, huh? Wonder Twins much? =P I could see Ruler being a big help for the girls in finding a good way out of this mess, given her mindset, intellect and power. If the others managed to convince her to help them, that is. I guess that's not the reason why they showed us her backstory, though. Oh, well. |

| that was an actually decent twist. i did not expect this anime to do that, nor did I think those dreams mattered in the slightest, besides some character build-up before killing someone off. A little sad they have to revert to explaining a character instead of developing it throughout the story though. Would have been nicer if we had got to know most of the girls in the beginning, but I guess it doesn't have enough episodes for set-up like that. Wish they would have done it after the character had died though. not doing that made it a little predictable |
| That was awful. The fight scene was shit and Rulers death was just the worst. Time to drop this shit just like I should have several episodes ago. |

| I didn't expect Ruler to be killed off so early but she really deserved it with her fake Geass lol This just shows us that the power to make people obey isn't enough, you also have to be Lelouch to rule the world with it xD Snow White was irritating me a lot in this episode. Why was she against getting her candy back? Because this isn't how magical girls act? You would rather die than do this? then die, if your will is so weak just die And I still can't take someone who is 1) a trap and 2) called La Pucelle seriously. Otherwise good episode but I want to see them kill each other rosemile said: Ruler's subject's were really stupid to pull off that coup now. Yeah, Ruler would have fucked them over but she also was the brains of the operation and got them work. I don't see them surviving as a group like this. The angels seem lazy and bound to double cross the remaining members. Tama's liable to defect to Snow's side or someone else since she had no idea and seemed upset about the coup. And she's useless anyways. And Swim Swim doesn't seem to have the constitution to be a ruler like Ruler. She's just a little girl, so I can see her self destructing. They should have just off'ed Snow and waited to double cross ruler after getting the main players out of the way. I agree, that move was a mix of stupid and understandable. Ruler was a pain in the ass and forced them to work under her but with her out of the picture Tama should logically be the next one to die. I can see the twins betraying Swim Swim too. |

| ruler got exactly what she deserved and funny enough it was Nemurin that gave Swim Swim the idea to do it though which makes it pretty funny imo but none the less ruler deserved every bit of that things are getting darker and darker per ep so cant wait to see whats gonna happen next |

| goddamn it they killed of Ruler to damn soon, I really enjoyed every scene she was in. Also Tama looked soo devastated, I wonder if we'll get to know how she felt about Ruler in later episodes. Maybe she cared for Ruler despite the way she treated her. |

Can't wait for more Sister Nana and more Calamity Mary, this is becoming one of my favorite anime this season. |

| I was expecting a coup inside Ruler's group, but I thought the angels (who, by the way, are VERY creepy) would be the ones betraying her, not Swim-Swim. That was unexpected. Also, I love how the deaths aren't cheap: people die by their own fault (Nemurin basically suicided, Ruler was a dictator), and their deaths have consequences (Nemurin's last act was inspire Swim to betray Ruler, Ruler's shows that people can't actually trust each other, and gives us a new antagonist). People were calling this a Battle Royale with magical girls, so it's interesting so see how it's more of a psychological battle than a bloodbath, unless 16th Girl comes out with murderous ideas. (Or Fav removes the candy rule and turns it into a "who is alive at the end wins") |

I don't think she has an actual evil side yet, but rather that she will get increasingly evil. Ruler had an ego and was an ass, but there was always a logical reasoning behind her actions. Swim Swim idolizes her, but I don't expect her to understand ruler's reasonings. Additionally, if she was so cold-blooded while disposing of the very person that she idolizes, imagine how much she will hold back from disposing of others, foes or friends. |

Not to mention she was mostly worried about la Pucclle going after them and dying anyway. La Pucelle should have taken a few hit from the twins too, not sure why that wasn't in the anime. That's of course also true, but still if you want to be a hero and you just give up instantly when something happens you're not worthy. Sorry but she's not some girl, she's a magical girl that goes into burning houses to save people. I was a bit surprised that the twins did nothing to her/him at all after falling for the obvious trap. But that explains it |
