I think Chitose overestimated herself..

Well regarding the dubbing and voice acting ability, she still has to work to improve herself. Little girl with big dreams. Chitose and Kazuha still has a weird chemistry going on, like they are rivals. I hope they get along better.

Chitose having it rough this episode which is unsurprising seeing the amount she has to learn and her personality.
Well it was interesting to watch but it still seems like there are some hurdles the girls need to overcome.

The final part of the episode went pretty well tho.

Seems like Chitose had a hard time voice acting in this episode, though, seems like she's slowly learning. I hope Chitose and Kazuha will get along as well. The author was so useless, though, lol.

She learned hella quick. Then again, imitation is key considering there's a bazillion characters just like that. Good to see her doing good though

The bathroom scene with Shibasaki and momoka about anime acting was the biggest roast of anime industry yet. Chitose learns a little humility and realizes she has a long ways to go.

and the satire continues!
Chitose realized that she's a terrible seiyuu!
But at least she improved a bit by the help of fellow seiyuu Momoka.
This situation really happens in real life like the author not convinced about the whole anime staff!
5/5.

I like Chitose a lot more than even before, shes still arrogant and cocky but she showed in this episode that she is definitely dedicated and hard working!
Great episode

Probably my favorite episode so far.
Seeing Chitose's struggles but bounce back to cope up with those failures was really nice... thanks to Momoka's advice.
I am waiting for the episode that they will be friends with the isolated Shibasaki.
Looking forward next week. :)

Great episode.

The author of the LN must be distraught seeing how the production of the anime is. XD

Chitose's voice acting was terrible, Couldn't stop laughing. XD
Props to Chitose's seiyuu, She managed to voice act a sucky voice acting so well that even we were able to comprehend how sucky it was, That's skill man. XD

Gojou-kun was complete savage but it was nice of him to say she can always come up if she worked hard.
Nice to Chitose improving and working hard as well.

That final conversation in the bar was funny and I don't even know why.

So that's what the Title said about "corrupted" is about. Oh well, it's also her "way" of learning thing so I guess it's pretty okay.

Chitose sure was stinkin' up the joint. Luckily she learned the secret to getting by...plagiarism! XD Well it's a first step anyway, and seeing her humbled definitely increased her likability. Meanwhile that original author really needs to stop being meek and assert himself!

The first half of this episode is quite cringey to see, especially when I heard Chitose's bad voice acting and she didn't realize it yet.

Guess Chitose has much yet to learn

The GAHAHA~ laugh always makes my day, too bad Chitose didn't join the laugh too

Chitose's voice acting was pretty bad. Her VA did a good job there XD
Interesting part about copycat voice acting. I've read a few interviews of veteran voice actors, like Akio Ohtsuka, Norio Wakamoto, Megumi Hayashibara and Masako Nozawa. All of them noticed, that in recent years there has been an increase of such type of voice acting, sadly.

well what a surprise .. Chitose swallow her pride for the sake of her acting is very good .. making me to like her even more .. and sadly we didnt hear how momoka and shibasaki act in their roles showing how good they are .. well maybe they focus on chitose's poor voice acting and how she gonna improve it..

I was glad that Chitose was able to recover by copying the cliches. Her brother may be right that it is not acting, but that is not what is expected from her

I'm really impressed with the Chitose's dubber. She's still a new one but she can turn her "skill" on when talking normally and turn it off when she's seiyuu-ception in the show.

Also these.. it's so obvious how "good" it will be. Just like any other cheap LN lol

Chitose did good job at copying cliche' lines...then it's the main problem inside the conversation between Momoka and Shibazaki in the end. A big question to voice actors and their job. Now thing goes deeper.

And thus the divine Goddess Chitose gets a dose of reality. It was nice to see her self evaluate herself and actually seek out help.

Shibasaki seems a bit too bland for now. That conversation she had with Chitose was pretty awkward imo.

I was expecting stronger satire, but I guess some character development was due. Chitose went from being gloriously terrible to mediocre as a VA.

Though a VA that uses loads of cliches for an adaptation from a likewise cliche LN seems quite fitting. What more can the author ask for?

don't really have much to say that hasn't been said in this thread already, only that i liked this episode a lot ^_^

2nd episode threw me off a little because it was really rather boring, almost thought i'd end up dropping this show... but this week's episode saved it!

i feel like i got the right vibe from the pv, that being that this will have similar vibes to imas... just character development and that kind of slow-burn plot that doesn't do anything to break your suspension of belief(? i think this is the right phrasing... hopefully you guys know what i mean here!).

anyway, yeah, good episode. still think she needs to be knocked down another peg or few, but she's a refreshing protagonist to have for this kind of show.

I'm so glad that Chitose was terrible at voice acting at first. It would've been petty boring if she already knew what to do. It was amazing character development for Chitose with all her pride to realize how bad she was and ask for help. This has potential to be AOTS.

I agree. The cool thing about this show is that the characters seem more real than your typical "everyone is really nice" series. Chitose is selfish, Momoka seems insincere, Kazuha is unfriendly. Only the rookies - Koto and Yae are more kindhearted, especially Yae.

Chitose is a genius idiot. She likes it easy but as she hates being looked down, she ends up working hard. I must say, she was born to be part of this industry. Loving how the people change their reaction around when she acts at first and stereotypical good later. Can't wait for her to find her own style! I must say I love the voice-acting, the animation, the script, the direction and pretty much everything. Liking the Gojo and Chitose bromance as well.

I really really like this show so far, I'm really impressed. It's been said before haha, but props to Chitose's VA. The criticism of the other characters about Chitose's copy cat acting is well warranted, but I wonder if it's also partially the fault of the ln adaptation which looks pretty 1 dimensional. Probably not a lot of scenes to showcase your talent.

I hope Chitose finds her own voice soon! She's so arrogant, but I can understand it when the other girls can be a little pretentious as well. It makes her flawed, but likeable.
I couldn't think of anything cool to put here.

And I just now noticed that Kuzu is called well... Kuzu which means trash. He's such an unreliable idiot, but he's really likeable for that lol. I liked the struggles Chitose went through and how she improved by just trying to act in the most generic way. They're really roasting the anime industry. Who cares about good acting when you can just act imitate a template.

So Chitose was sucking big time at voice acting at first but she didn't want to admit it. And because of her being too crappie, they were being held back for too long. And Chitose actually ends up admitting that she's not doing a good job. Lol how Gojou tells her that she is incredibly bad and throws in some more insults over there. And Chitose watches some generic shit to get an idea of how to voice her character lol. It was the easiest thing to do because many animes will have those exact same dialogues at some point — we had the typical guy walks in on changing girl, and guy accidentally groping girl's boobs. So she's only mimicking what she saw which isn't bad since she gets the job done at least. And Shibasaki wasn't pleased with this kind of thing.

This anime they're making is basically doomed. The woman responsible for the scripts left, the character designs of the anime will be different from the PV's, the production values are shit, and the staff only cares about getting the show out on time and doesn't give a neko about the actual quality. This show's basically screwed. At least Chitose is actually improving and is going good now.
