| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, Akagi waiting in the baths :p Finally back to action this week with Fubuki's team. Gotta love how Kongou joins in the fun as well. Quite a lot of airplanes launched this episode. And not to mention, death flags were all over the place this episode. Glad to see no one sunk though. Teamwork Fleet Girls! |

| Shouhou sunk, actually. Not that anyone knows who she is since this was the first time she showed up. Anyways Battle of the Coral Sea May 1942. Shouhou was sunk (mistaken for Zuikaku by American planes) and Shoukaku was heavily damaged. Another tick for "historical accuracy". Up next is Midway. |

| The moment Fubuki and the others leave the two alone, I knew things would get bad. I got worried Shoukaku would get sunk, but thanks to Fubuki's quick thinking they made it in time. The episode really puts me on the edge. We'll see the biggest battleship ever made next episode. |

| Pretty sure Kancolle does not follow WWII history in term of ship sinking but nice reference for those who don't know. Nice seeing Fubuki strong courage and determination. |

| The enemy has never been named in the game nor in the enemy but it's been severely hinted that the enemy is the US. And since they mentioned that the enemy cracked the codes there is another hint. The US managed the crack the Japanese codes so they knew the Japanese would attack Midway, and we all know how that ended. Anyway a nice episode with some nice character development. Seems the girls are getting along and Fubuki is trusted by her new fleet. |

| Have to give this credit for once: that was actually quite a good episode. The battle was quite interesting for once, and the Wo-Class actually provided some sort of challenge, which is a first for these Abyssals if we discount Kisaragi. |

| This episode was pretty sappy in the first half. I wasn't feeling it. Good news is that it got better in the second half and had good action. Not bad. |

| I think Kaga is secretly tsundere for Zuikaku, even if a little. All that talk about protecting Admiral's precious ships and betting on the small hope was just a pretext. :3 Good to see Yuudachi again. Missed her "-poi" for a while now. Why can't she also be a regular character like Fubuki? I wonder what the Admiral looks like. From the way Nagato was talking, it seemed to be a guy; but then why not show his face? Does he have a mask on or something? >.< Mission segment was alright, nothing special once again. It was mainly about Zuikaku following Kaga's words and succeeding in saving Shoukaku. Fubuki almost failed as a flagship though. Just when she was about to rejoice, the worst case scenario came to to mind. She still got a long way to go. Decent episode. A lot of other KanColle girls aren't getting any screentime at all. Hope they show up in the later episodes. |

| Kaga protecting Zuikaku was nice! Really enjoyed the quick thinking shown by Kaga, Zuikaku, and Fubuki that really impacted the consequences! The survival part was quite intriguing, also with the escort planes and the others make their entrance. |

| My interest in this show keeps sinking lower and lower for each episode I feel. Which is ironic because in actuality this episode was a lot better than the last one, but I could still only appreciate it objectively in that sense, it still bored me :s |

| Wow Flagship Wo-class. Never thought it would come out this early, but Shoukaku would have sunk this episode if Flag Wo was carrying Hime-class planes. Sortieing outdated Light Carriers. What happened to Shouhou anyways? Next Time: Oh look Yamato's here. Teitoku bringing out the big guns. |
| Yeah, can't see much hope for the remaining episodes. Really disappointed with how uninteresting the anime turned out. Gotta praise how they managed to make Fubuki a relatively likeable character (and respectable protagonist) and how they avoided turning the anime into another harem shit by not giving a character for the admiral. Gonna watch until the end, but yeah, that's it. |

| Pretty boring episode... it didn't felt interesting to watch this (bad) strategy talk.This kind of thing is something you would expect from the game. But you know, each medium is different and it didn't work here. 90% of in-fight babble could be omitted. Also, some horrible use of CG we saw this time. |

| Sorry people but Shoho sank, Shokaku got 3 bomb hits while Zuikaku lost half of her air group. Seems like next episode might be Operation MI or preparation leading to MI and both Shokaku and Zuikaku hwill play no role in MI. Yamato is Yamamoto's flagship in MI. No doubt that Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu and Mikuma sinks next week. Seems that Purple has made his presence felt this time. |

As said in the episode, she was badly damaged and know nothing else at this point. I would expect her teammates are helping extinguish the fire and get her to port. |

| I love how Wo-class looks in the anime. This episode provided more Zuikaga fuel for me! Yamato will make her debut next episode. Will she be shown in a sortie? |
