Akari's display of talents with the apple and her hammer made chuckle a bit. Some of the other acts felt out of pace. >Chaika blushes Ah, she is becoming more conscious now. Anyways, I found the episode to be kinda funny. Can't trust anyone in this series though.. |

| I have enjoyed Hitsugi no Chaika so much so far, but this ep.... felt like a filler. Only about 30 sec that seemed plot relative , don't know if the rest may have a role to play later on. 2/5 |

| This episode felt like a filler episode to me. Those guys turned out to be thieves. Chaika still wanting to help her friend out despite that. |

| Gillette doesn't want to suspect Chaika of having any ulterior motive. Even he seems to feel her innocent goal.. Team Chaika stumbles upon the Empire of Neo Gaz, which is operated by Princess Chaika; another Chaika with Blonde hair. Akari & Toru's apple tricks were quite funny, along with Frederica transforming into Dragoon. Hahaha! Nice conversation between the Chaikas. White Chaika turning all red talking about Toru was cute. :3 Blonde Chaika's love poem was nice too. Toru's hunch turns out to be real about them being a band of thieves. Liked how effortlessly Acura siblings secured them. Piece of cake! Rescuing Julia was just as easy. Team Chaika is one skilled squad. Emissary sent to Duke Gavarni requesting the floating fortress Soara was murdered.. I wonder what's the significance of the fortress. Seems pretty robust! Good episode. Blonde Chaika Julia was cute! There'll probably be more real Chaikas in the later episodes though. |

| Filler episode overall. At least there weren't too much Toru crushing on Chaika moments in this episode, that's the way I hope it stays. |
| So another Chiaka appears, but turns out to be a fake one. Can't help but laugh on the way they perform in front of the crowd. Thieves huh, well at least Toru and Akari subdue them. Julia is in trouble but it was a short live rescued. Their journey is off once again. Okay episode, not a lot of action in here. The last 30 secs of it looks interesting. |

| A blushing Chaika is so cute~ "Nope. Let's go" - typical Tooru, rofl That OST during the saving was too short :< If only the art could look better. Only the close-ups ans sometimes the fight scenes look decent :( |

| Super-boring-filler-type episode 4/10 |
| Hmm while they might not have been much relevant info to the main plot in this episode but from what they did show it seems that not everything about Gaz was seems to be true, the lack of info on him and teh fact that many of the former citezens of the gaz empire never even mentioned a complaint about him as well as the fact they said all those stories came out after the war ended all seem to point out there is some kind of government conspiracy going on. Looks like next week episode will have some flashbacks about torus past which is good as once they show that it will give him a lot of character growth in this story although i cant reveal the whole thing just yet :P hmm seems the floating fortress part will have a bigger role in the future cant wait to see it |

| Chaika. Episode Eight. Filler, shocking truth. Akari makes for some fabulous comedy with her stories. And I'm getting the impression that either Gaz isn't dead, or there never was an Emperor Gaz at all. |

| I loved Fredrica's part in the performance, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them wet themselves. Chaika blushing, to cute! Rumor about human experiments... anyone else immeadiately think of the Chaikas? |
| Interesting episode The groups talent show was pretty funny When I first saw the blonde girl, I was like "no way, another Chaika" until their identities were revealed and I was like "ah man, I really want to see the other Chaikas" The show is so mysterious.... and I love it XD |

| Next episode This ep was filler but it did not disappoint me. I really like Akari especially when in this ep when she was saying that they were magicians. |
| Okay episode. The best part was definitely seeing Akari's showman side during the performance lol. She really is the best. |
| Too bad that yellow Chaika was fake Chaika, even tough it was obvious. Im waiting other Chaika, a [ insert the color here ] Chaika, and his crazy partner What??? the next episode is about Tooru's sad past, can't wait to see it as animated. |

| Pretty entertaining episode. That part with Fredrica coming out of the coffin as a dragoon caught me off guard lol i was expecting her to surprise them in her human form for some reason |

This anime is a split 2-cour series. Will air in the fall which is already jammed packed with many good shows anyways cannot wait to see the next episode |

| Now I know why I love the humor in this show. This series was done by the same guy who made Outbreak Company XD! Akari = still the best girl. After watching this episode, the Six Nations Alliance, the supposed good guys, look more and more shady. Sure the fake Chaika's group lived in the Gaz countryside and most likely didn't know what was going on in the capital but looks to me like they were very content with their old lives and that poem Julia recited indicates the empire was a beautiful place and the people loved their kingdom a lot. Doesn't fit with the whole "Emperor Gaz is evil" propaganda. The victors get to rewrite history you know. |

| this episode was less important matter of plot, but it was really fun and deepened slightly characters Akari, the best girl in the anime, showed great skill and shamelessly Chaika proved to be very kind, and Tooru being in the right job as Saboteur I'm really curious about where the story will halt and next episode seems to talk about the past, I await eager |

| I haven't seen a filler episode in anime for a long time! I don't mind this one though since it built up the world a bit more. Plus more Chaika cuteness and Akari hilarity. The performance scene was great for one. Looking forward to the next episode as always! |
| It's extremely obvious that "Princess Chaika" is fake since all Chaika should have same appearance and have a marking line on her neck. And It's too obvious that those are pretending to restore the Gaz Empire, since from the start they appeared they already look like thieves! Who the hell fall for that scene!!!... And yes this Episode feels like a Filler Episode aside from the opening and ending scene. |

Well it seems she really wasn't a Chaika, but the leader of the thieves lol. Tooru and Akari kicked their asses lol. So Emperor Gaz did some some dodgy experiments on humans hm. |

| Filler? not exactly. They maybe fakes but they were remnants of Gaz Empire. It makes me think that Gaz Empire wasn't exactly bad since the people didn't seem to suffer and lived quite a peaceful life until the 6 countries attacked. The performance was hilarious. Akari never failed to make me crack every episode XD. I'm thinking of putting her among my favorite list.. certainly one of the best & most original characters around. |

| Episode 08 was a very average episode, I know there were a few worthy moments such as partial reveals that indicated that Emperor Gaz was just a mysterious person who was a great wizard and was able to create many magic-using inventions and all but everything else about him is just rumours and it makes me wonder why the "Legendary Heroes" even attacked him in the first place. I'm glad this will be getting a 2nd season because I don't think we will get much answers by the end of the first season. |
