So even after that win, seems like the club isn't entirely all happy. However, I am happy that Sonora is back up again after that sniper incident. Rin is pretty intimating this episode not that I'm surprised..

I thought episode was okay. The second half was much more cherry :3. Sonora and her epic food sniping skills~. Nice to know a little more about Sonora and Rin's past as well I guess.

Sempai is well and is back early. Yura admitted it to the staff about cheating on the phone and later told everyone about it, but that enemy protected her and said it did not happen. Yura wants a rematch against the enemy because she is not satisfied with the victory. lol @ the noodle flowing thing. The enemy captured the real culprit and she left a message to Yura during the interview. ‌Interesting story about those two, showing why the enemy is like that, which is not showing her weakness. Yura wants to quit, and...?

That's what she did.
She was indecisive about what she should be doing in the last few episodes but she finally decided what she is going to do. Just because she doesn't return to her club doesn't means that she should 'get her shit together'.

I actually enjoy the change in character. While she was annoying during the tournament, I can finally come to term with her character. She finally understand that she isn't the type of person that play for enjoyment but rather to win and stopped to deny it from herself. There's no right answer except having enough courage to follow your heart.
If the C3 club cannot teach her anything anymore, it's time to move somewhere else.

Huh a pretty decent episode overall, though I slowly liking Yura now but a little bit eccentric person. Oh, the truth behind Rin was revealed even her back story on how she is friends with Sonora. Damn, Rin has good accuracy when talking to Yura and shooting at the same time.

I find it funny when the Stella club had their training in a weird way.

It seems Rin and Yura are trading places, both metaphorically and literally. Assuming this site's count of 13 episodes is correct, we've still got four more for Yura to turn herself around. Before that happens, however, I expect a showdown between a Yura-led Meisei and C3.

It's nice to see Rin's warming up a bit (and coming to visit C3 next episode), or maybe she's not changing and we're just seeing her differently, maybe both. Yeah, probably a bit of both.

I find the fact that Sonora and Rin have had their Desert Eagles for something like 10 years to be rather amusing.

That makes sense, thank you for your take on Yura's character :) I was about to rage some more about how cold Yura was to the other club members and doing her own thing, but I guess not everyone has the same mindset or outlook on things. But still, Yura's makes it seem as if the world revolves around her, asking Sonora to tell her what happened between her and Rin or else she can't come in terms with herself, or how she kind of seemed like she blamed the zombie thing on Rin. She asked why Rin called out hit, making Yura a zombie.

Yura confesses about zombing.But Rin lies and says she didn't.

Honoka confronts her about how they weren't having fun and how Rento got hurt and Yura didn't even notice.

Yura wants a rematch,since she can't accept the win since she cheated.

The sniper was arrested.And we got some background on Sonora and Rin.Turns out Rin changed after their master died.

The series has turned from bad to worse, at least according to fans in Japan. If Yura in the previous episode is not irritable enough, she notches up even more in this episode. No wonder some Japanese fans are now saying it is like watching a Jedi falling into the dark side (lol).

IT GOT SO BAD that fans of the original manga are now up in arms about how the anime has changed most of the characters for the worse. They even put up pics of the manga and asked people to circulate them to prove how bad the adaptation job has been done in the anime: http://yaraon.blog109.fc2.com/blog-entry-18340.html
Apparently,
- Sono did a lot more to guide Yura to enjoy the game and did not get obsessed with winning (so Yura never became such a hard-headed mean person);
- The strenuous training for the 24-hour game was handled by Karila and it's her idea NOT Yura;
- The argument was mainly between Karila and Honoka in the manga, but later they reconciled and bonded stronger together;
- Rin was a much nicer person in the manga (even though she was also at a point thought as a suspect for shooting Sono)
- The shooting at Sono happened during a practice game not in some public area and it was done by a girl who was follower of Sono's mentor. And Sono actually treated her generously and managed to change her thinking.

So GAINAX, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE !!??!!??!!??
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

WHAT IS THIS DRAMA IN MY K-ON WITH GUNS!?

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I want to see C3 avoid a Good End. Go down the School Days route or something. I don't think that will happen, but it would be really interesting.

She has been in C3 for almost a day or two and acts like she has more clout than everyone else, the weird vendetta she holds for Rin made her come off to me as a weird creepy stalker who was way too obsessive, not dropping the zombie thing was annoying because she beat Sono at the school festival due to a distraction but did not clear that up but bathed in the praise/compliments, and at the end she says she is leaving because she needs her own path? Is she going to become a merc-airsoft player and travel the world or merely follow in Rin's shadow some more? I was hoping she was going to suck her into that painting/show off the spirit warrior or whatever because I still have no idea what the hell was the significance of that.

Sorry, but this bitch is taking a game way too seriously! Also, not letting your teammates have fun is a crap move too! Someone needs to take Yura and Rin to an actual shooting range, so they witness what real guns can do. That'll knock them out of this fantasy of theirs.

How about when the ride turns out to be harder and harder to enjoy? Also I do not hold particular expectation, positive or negative, about Gainax. But I have to make it clear which studio I am blaming for the bad adaptation of the manga, and it just happens that the studio is Gainax.

Orix said:

Not sure what you mean, but C3bu itself is not a 4-koma manga.

At this point she almost does. She improved in such a dramatic way that she's probably one of the best in C3. She got beef with Rin ever since her first airsoft match Rin ragged on her for quitting, along with Sonora.

I guess her own path is joining Meisei's group for now.

Yura: This is the end for you, my Master.

***Sono leaps from the platform and onto a rocky hill***

Sono: It's over, Yura! I have the high ground.

Yura: You under-estimate my power!

Sono: Don't try it!

***Yura attempts to shoot Sono in the face, but when she aims at Sono's head, she get's shot between the eyes by Sono's quick draw. She then tumbles down the hill near the creek***

Sono, upon seeing what she's done: You were the Chosen One! It was said you would destroy the Mesei, not join them! Bring balance to the airsoft, not leave it in darkness!

Yura, lying on the ground: I hate you!

Sono: You were my sister, Yura. I loved you!

and then yura bursts into treats.
sono leaves in tears, unable to watch.

and then rin finds Yura there lying unconscious.

Looking at this episode i pretty much had a theory from the moment i saw Rin laugh after she told the comity there was no foul play in her loss.
And seeing as she expected Yura to come to her my theory is that she is using psychological warfare, experienced gamers will probably be familiar with the term metagame it refers to players that try to read and predict movements of enemy players and adjust their play style accordingly.
That's exactly what Rin did with Yura during this episode, i think she is deliberately trying to make Yura insecure and trying to make her think that Sonora's way of playing Airsoft is wrong.
She might even had to intention of making Yura disrupt the group with a different way of thinking.

As for the shooter he might have been arrested it's still suspicious that he went after Sonora, he might have done so deliberately.

I think you have your stories confused, that's cleary a star wars reference. But I like how it shown that Yura is Anakin, Sono is Obi-Wan, and Rin is Palpatine. I could really see the relationship between them.

But the amount of people that are hating on Yura is pretty interesting, I actually have come to respect her more now compared to the starting episodes. Although her change wasn't for the better, you have to admit that she has improved as a airsoft player, to the point that she's better than her whole team. I despised Yura when she was just a coward and gave up so easily, but now that she has improved, I like how she is sticking to what she wants to do. Only thing I don't like is how she is joining Meisei's team, I could kind of see her reason for joining since she wants to get better, but why join the team of the enemy that you want to stop, maybe to overtake her and lead the team herself? I'm not 100% sure, but at this point she still has a chance to go back to the C3 Club, so I'm interested to see how things will go.
