Still recommended if you like the artwork/story/setting/characters!
Azur Lane (confusing story; lack of overall goal aside from waifu collecting; God tier artwork though)
BanG Dream! (truly loved this game and its characters; most recent update (from January 2024) makes game lag hard on my Pixel 8 Pro and notes are dropped randomly to the point of not even being able to FC an easy difficulty song)
Girl Café Gun (interesting story, but the game feels like the devs literally stopped caring with the lack of voiceover, grammar mistakes, etc.)
Girls' Frontline (story was fine; dailies took far too long; later levels difficult without guide; lack of story voiceover disappointing)
Honkai Impact 3 (So many good memories with this game and highly recommended. However, with Genshin and Star Rail out nowadays, it just became too much of an obligation for what felt like a less engaging story [amplified due to no English voice acting])
Aww, thank you, that's sweet. It's funny, I didn't think anything would come out of writing that message, especially not someone else reading it and friend requesting me because of it lol. Yeah, mitch3315 was a pretty cool guy, he was actually one of the first people I interacted with when I was just starting out watching anime. He would recommend a lot of anime to me, but I remember he was particularly vocal about Chihayafuru, Idolmaster, and Space Brothers. I ended up watching all of those because of him! Unfortunately, I'm not sure what happened to him either, he stopped talking in the forum I met him back in 2016, long before he became inactive entirely. I'm guessing life just took priority or he lost interest in anime.
I'm definitely noticing we got some similar manga tastes (I also really like your method of showing which volumes you own. I'm tempted to steal that from you...). Do you have any good manga recommendations to start? I'm always looking for new stuff to read and a lot of the ones you've completed I'm unfamiliar with.
Nevertheless it is great to see you still active, thinking of me, and reviving my existence! I hope you have been keeping well over the past year!
Coincidently, I was actually recently thinking of trying to revive my hobby of watching anime in order to help pass the time and of course for the cute girls. Maybe now is the time? I will be slowly looking through my backlogs and what has aired in the past year, but if you have any recommedations I would be happy to hear them.
Let's hope I stick around for a while this time especially as you now know how to summon me whenever I disappear....
I will never be as poetic as you so excuse me while I steal borrow your idea:
His day is today.
A very important day.
Probably a great time for writing a message.
Perfect timing, I say.
Yet what shall I write?
Brainstorming what to write, but nothing noteworthy comes to mind.
Ideas such as this won't do.
Really, what am I thinking?
This will do, perhaps?
Hurry, the day is almost over!
Delaying the message for as long as I can.
Anything, just anything, will suffice.
Yes, I've finally done it! A wonderful message and happy birthday to AndyRayy!
That was horrible. I want to kill myself now.
A-Anyway, now that that horrible endeavour is out of the way, thanks for your message and I hope you're doing well! Happy birthday!
And to make up for your lack of moe-watching; look forward to a very moe future thanks to all these Manga Time Kirara adaptations; applaud you for stuff such as surviving watching Akagi; and to match your wonderful gigantic picture who is obviously the almighty Prinz Eugen, here's a cute picture!
Sorry in advance for any of the disappointment you feel in the later parts of Hanayamata. I watched it not too long ago and let's just say that I wanted to like the series a lot more than I did. My 7/10 score is me being generous.
Also, Kinmoza S2 has started! Why are you not watching it yet you madman?

Also it's nice to meet you, too!
Whilst doing my daily rounds of organising my totally immaculate inbox, I spotted an important message from my dear old friend. Of course I had to respond after suddenly disappearing for apparently almost a year I can't believe it has been that long... so here I am! I'm sure you'll be glad to hear that I haven't been kidnapped by moe anime girls or succumbed to the pandemic that is happening at the moment. The real frank reason for disappearing is just losing interest and motivation in watching anime, plus other interests starting to take over my time including video games and アイドル.

No pressure on the reply.
