| Theoria winning the Hero. Step it up Kei I liked how much progression they were able to pack in this episode but some of the cuts between scenes were oddly placed in my opinion Also I was surprised at how much range Tamaki's seiyuu showed when she imitated Izuru acting cool. Wasn't expecting her to be able to go down that many octaves |

| Needs more Theoria. Date was interrupted too quickly. Poor Asagi, his qualities are best recognized by a kid. He needs a hug. Kei was cute when she said that she would like a guy who enjoys her home-made coking. <3 ... as deadly as that may be. ^^' |

| Great episode, i loved it when Kei asked Asagi to go be the third wheel. The way she asked him makes me wonder if Kei is a very keen person, i would be safe to say that Ange is a girl since Kei says Ange as a she. Now for the big picture. The earth forces are beginning to mass produce a new unit that veteran pilots with enough skill can be just as effective as AHSMBs. That might mean the foreshadowing of when Earth strikes back? Next episode we see more of the Jiart Izuru Theoria love triangle... The purple guy didn't die and is attacking MJP academy for the kids... i think the purple guy went out and broke orders because it was the stealth guy's job to sneak in and attack. I think this will smell disaster for the walguru as the purple guy destroyed the sneak in part, or he actually makes it successful as the stealth guy uses the purple guy as decoy and destroys the academy. |

| I like seeing Asagi, he's an interesting character :) It's sad how he likes Kei but his feelings are not reciprocated, not to mention, his low self esteem. Also, interesting information about the Wulgaru, and how they don't really have such concepts/emotions like gratitude. |

When emotions took over and he felt like he couldn't keep up with the new ''ace'' pilots, he didn't go emo and crazy. He frowned a bit but stayed collected. When he had a choice to let go of his position he calmly asked about the problem and shared his troubles with Rin too. The fact that others mostly meet in his room is probably of warm ''aura'' that he imitates. Just look how he takes care of his room, all nice and tidy. And how he helped to prepare food while letting Izuru and Theoria talk. Plus, when Izuru burned his hands he threw that wet sponge along his way. He is a bro. ^^ Loved his expression when Kei said ''onegai'' to him. ^^ |

There aren't any strong indicators but there were few scenes that could imply that. When Theoria was introduced, Kei's jealous reactions were noticed mostly by Asagi. There was one mission where Asagi was temporally assigned as leader and he was having a conversation with her about his uncertainty and decisions he made. And when he mentioned Izuru, Kei went to check up on him while scene switched to Asagi slowly hitting his head with a fist, possibly implying that he shouldn't have mentioned him. During Ange VS Izuru fight, when asked for who is she cheering on, Kei mentioned Izuru on which clearly showed Asagi's jealous reaction. These are just some of them that were on top of my head... And in this episode, he was feeling down cuz' of new ''Aces'' being way ahead of him, true, but he showed rather interesting reaction when Kei asked him to be a third wheel. Of course, most of the scenes could only imply that he is simply jealous of Izuru but some of us think that there might be something more. ^^ |

They have shown it some episodes ago, at least it was more like a foreshadowing. Also, damn you and Izuru, white haired chicks are dangerous. Better stay with goddesses like Kei. |

| It is uncanny coincidence. Within one week two very different anime both showed a guy got his hands burnt because he got so excited that he put his hands on a hot plate that was used to make okonomiyaki !! |
| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

Well hopefully Asagi is getting powered up within the next few episodes. But how come no one noticed this.................. MJP has been showing some references from Gundam and SRW franchise. |

| So...we are finally getting into the real dramatic stuff now. This is what I am used to in my mecha: political underplay, teens beginning to emo because of their skills, enemies with ulterior motives, bland damsels who are completely "perfect" and the boys who declare that they will save them. Ahhh....it took MJP a while to get to this point. But like most war mecha shows, it was all bound to show up sooner or later. However, this all seems to be the calm before the storm, and I can't really tell what's going on with Ange. Izuru could really be with Kei or Teoria, however I continue to lean towards the Lacus clone. Asagi is clearly falling for Kei, but she hasn't noticed. It seems that the GDP aren't as global as we thought and we actually do have them split up into national groups. Japan has the newest tech and wants to keep a monopoly on it. All the other groups follow suit and we now have a small petty cold war going on amongst the actual war against the Wulgaru. Speaking of the Wulgaru, Orange Leader, my favorite of them, has a plan of action and we're not sure what he aim is. Red Leader is distracting the armed forces so that Orange Leader's team can have enough time to do what he needs to do. However, Purple Leader is on the move, and he seems to have his own ideas. | Asagi is actually one of the better characters in this series. He's considerate and talented, and doesn''t let his fears and doubts get in the way of doing his job. He's also a better fit with Kei IMO. Poor Kei, having to see the boy she likes being so excited about a date with another girl. I don't like when they bring "nationalities" "alliances" into anime. They always manage to come off as stereotyped at best and xenophobic at worst. I hope we get past that bit of the series soon. |

| 5/5 The series pulls together the comic section, even an unexpected side "very" serious and interesting, comparing different visions of the present, and personal interests; lovedole. Enjoyable narrative, no character is left out from the story, an interesting proposal of the commander Simon, what's behind it? I'm curious! * _ * Drawings and animations very enjoyable. |

| Teoria hasn't been much of a character so far outside of infodumping and overly formulaic bashful interactions with Izuru, so I'm not exactly pining for them to be a couple at any point. |
