Geez, Akishino freak out much? Lol'd @ that notebook. Glorious! Oh god, watching Eita-kun's reaction was just priceless. Meh, kinda annoying seeing that blonde pigtail girl from last time is back. She annoyed me even more when I watched her read from that notebook.

Cute episode I guess especially the ending :3

Also about damn time the last girl showed up.

Probably the first episode where I've started caring about this series. And unless the next heroine turns out to be better, I will be shipping Himeka x Eita, those two are really cute. ^^

The emotions in this episode ran pretty deep and the conflict was really well played out. I hope to see more events like this in the future.

Well, one thing you can NOT say about Eita is that he is spineless.

I kinda liked Himeka's poem.

I found the scene where Himeka and Eita were talking alone in that room and the 'camera' suddenly switched to show Chiwa and Masuzu listening in the hall very interesting. That one shot of those two girls' faces seemed to have a lot of information in it.

Good episode....best one yet.

They made Hime really cute, cuter than the manga even...her VA did a good job :)
Masuzu's imouto is annoying but it seems she has some respect for Masuzu deep down since she listened to her about apolagizing.

Finally we'll get to see Ai. Even in the manga we haven't seen much of her yet so this should be good.

Also lol at BE MY ANGEL harem XDXDXDXD

I never really thought much about it at first, but looking back on it after reading your statement, I'm actually pretty interested as well. What's your take on this? I'm pretty bad at reading situations like these, myself, but it almost seems like they want to acknowledge those two as the most suitable couple. Hopefully this will foreshadow the event that these two actually do get together in the end, something like that would make for an excellent harem ending (much like Shuffle's).

One of the great things about good artwork is that it can mean different things to different people. But that's not one of the things I took out of it. *One* of the things I got was that Chiwa and Masuzu were realizing that Himeka's problems were real and just as valid as their own, and that it might be that accepting her into their group would be a good thing, and in particular that possibly at that moment Eita might be the best person to help her - pushing her away might be construed as having a pile of "bad karma" related implications (probably not the best words to use, but I'm not all that good with trying to describe what I'm trying to say here).

Another thing I took away was maybe that those two were considering that Eita has his own path to walk and they would have to change how they view their relationship with him. I could say more here, but I don't have the right words to do that.

(to some extent, the "real" purpose of their club might turn out to be something very different from the club's stated purpose, but that's just a viewer looking at how he thinks this story is going to play out)

Okay, even though a couple of places were done a little awkwardly, they're doing well on pacing. There are some cliche scenes here and there, but I have to say I really liked this episode.

I'm guessing as the season progresses the Masuzu hate will start to die down. Not that there's a unique story behind it as far as I can tell -- still, there are parts where you can start to understand where she's coming from.

Next stop, Ai will get back the screen time she's been denied for half the season...

Edit: And one cannot forget about the notebook-reading. Eita was on the verge of breaking down. Oh, the four angels. I'd hang myself if I ever thought of anything like that and have someone read it out loud.

How easily the main heroine is falling for the mc is a little too predictable for me, but either way the show is fun to watch and all the girls have been good so far, and seeing the final girl blush in the previews for next week makes it look like she's gonna be fun to watch too

That makes a lot of sense actually. I may have been overly optimistic for my shipping with my prediction and it may not be entirely practical, but yours seems to make a lot of sense. Nevertheless, there is a change of heart indicated in this episode and it seems to work out fairly well.

I think that this would most likely be the case. I don't believe that Chiwa and Masuzu would care so much about her problems as they would with her desired relationship with Eita (although I won't dismiss the prior theory either). It's a very well rounded conjecture and I think it would be best to assume that this is the case.

Haven't had a brainstorm like this in a while. This is pretty fun. :)

I actually think that there's some good merit to why these girls like the MC. I think that Eita has been a pretty solid character. And as far as the other two are concerned, I can feel some even better chemistry between him and Himeka.

Ahh, I love Himeka. She is so adorable. I just want to hold her tight. :) The OTP still seems like Eita x Masuzu, and I really don't like it too much ^_^ Chiwa is still my favorite... her kendo scene was just too perfect haha. xP

But yeah, great episode. Unlike other harems, I really appreciate all the girls' personalities in this show, and that they're not just used for fanservice purposes (helps because I am a girl haha) ^_^ Eita is also not a bad MC.

Haha, the hall monitor looks cool, I like her <3 Tsudere much? ;) Can't wait for next week!

The whole drama surrounding the Natsukawa family feels awkward. Surely they can't keep it hidden any longer...but it seems they will. It's weird how I enjoy seeing Masuzu 'faking' her love but going about 'business as usual' with her family on her tail is...harder to swallow.

That said, this is indeed my guilty pleasure series. Chinatsu Akasaki (Chiwa)'s voice acting in the corridor scene is priceless, and so is Tamura Yukari (Masuzu)'s ice-cold voice. Hime's voice is not an instant hit with me unfortunately, but the whole Chuu2 thing being awkward is affecting my thoughts.

I'm hoping they give a little more background information on the Natsukawa family since it seems that's where the source of tension is coming from.

The bodyguard, Yasuoka, is one chill dude, handling Eita without any sweat.

After wathcing Chuunibyou, my opinion of this show has changed for the worse. While in the aforementioned anime the delusions are awesome and fun to watch, here it is just embarrassing and painful - and it doesn't help that the main character is just as lame and awkward. Can't bring myself to care much for the characters either, maybe except for Chiwa at most, and seeing as this is taking the harem direction, there probably isn't that much to look forward to.

Even so, this anime has its good parts. It is funny, or at least it was at first. It just seems to recycle the same joke over and over now. It's still quite entertaining to watch at least, so let's hope it'll stay that way till the end.

Wow, that was just awful. The reading of the book was waaay too long with all the angels, and that "heroic" scene where Eita tried to stand up to the blondie was just laughingly bad. Security guy did absolutely nothing and he still manages to beat himself up so badly that he can't stand afterwards. I mean really.

Up to this ep I thought this show was entertaining enough, so I just hope that they won't keep throwing this godawful writing at us anymore. Otherwise it'll be too painful to continue watching. <.<

And he takes another beating. This episode was funny especially with more reading out of the notebook. I liked that saying/quote "if you stop francizing, you have no choice but to be crushed by reality.

Also I'm getting a little tired of so many people are comparing this to Chuunibyou. I fail to see how they are really similar or worth comparing. Don't get me wrong Chuunibyou was good but this is a comedy Harem, last I checked Chuunibyou wasn't a harem. I highly doubt that they wanted this to be taken too seriously, its really just supposed to be funny. Just my opinion though.

I know right? Eita just wants it read. He's got pride there. And with that bodyguard.. Embarassing to watch.

I don't know whether I'll keep up with this. There are a few things within this ridiculous show that keeps it together.. The characters and their relationships and crisis do work for this show.. but.. I guess I'm finding them to be a drag.

Ugh I wanted to choke that blonde loli when she was tormenting Hime. What an annoying bitch. Kill it with fire, damnit!

Also that part where Masuzu was reading the book was so awkward. It just lacked imagination and spark compared to Chuunibyou. I just couldn't get into it during that scene.

Other than that, the ep was ok. Next ep the pink haired chick finally joins the harem.

But uh, yeah. I hate how inconsistent the chihuahua is. One minute she's all jealous and upset that Eita has Masuzu, then suddenly she's sad that Masuzu has to leave? What? Not to mention Mana's bullying of Hime was so forced and out of nowhere, like it was just there to create more melodrama and make Mana look more like a bitch.

In all honesty, I prefer Mana over the rest of the cast. Why? She seems like she has actual motivations that don't spin around in circles. I can't stand the way Masuzu's character is executed; I'm sorry, but I really don't like the manipulative like bitches that treat guys like their own toys. Well, sometimes I do (Haruhi, in a sense) but not in the way that's presented in this anime.

Still, it's a fun watch and I'm interested to know more about Mana/Masuzu's family issues, plus Eita isn't a wuss of a male lead (that doesn't mean he's particularly good though, just better then average.) so that's a plus.

I agree that this anime is a bit of a disappointment i already had that opinion at the first episode but i don't think it's bad enough to stop watching it.
I had more fun reading the manga of this and might give the original the light novel a try.
The awful chuunibyou naming sense if funny to hear in the anime tho.

The episode could have been better.
Masuzu's little sister should be ashamed tho it's easy to talk big behind a big bodyguard while sitting on the bonnet of a Rolls Royce just showing off with papa's money.
If you really want to talk big like that do it with your own achievements and even then you still don't have a excuse to look down on others.

Finally the red head makes a appearance wonder what she will add to this show.

The ep had some good points, a number, but I feel like the above poster. It was just...lacking in a word. And with the Manga ongoing I wonder if we even will get an non-open ending for this show, or if its planned as a multirun. Anyways on that note I give the ep a 3/5.

Hmm Interesting Episode I guess, I still wonder when we are gonna get more screen-time of the pink haired girl from the OP. Well the best part in this episode would have to be the part where Masuzu was reading Eita's Past Daily and She was going on about the 4(5) Angels.

The episode was pretty good. We get to see Hime finally stand up and speak out her thoughts. We get some more embarrassing moments from Eita's chuunibyou days. We also get to get a little more background on Masuzu (For example, her mother abandoned her when she was little). The ending finally introduced Ai as an actual character! Next episode is going to be about Ai and seems like something is going on between Ai and Eita!

I'm really enjoying this, I don't care about all the flaws. It's entertaining and the art/animation is fantastic.

The only thing that is bothering me is how it's turning into a harem. I wouldn't mind two girls fighting over 1 guy. But it looks like there will be four.

And I know since the manga is ongoing, there isn't a high likely hood that Eita will choose 1 girl in the end.

This is a mix between Chuunibyou, Sakurasou, and Boku Wa Tomodachi.

I like it more then the third, but it won't be as good as the first two.

The five angels reading made the episode for me. Making the whole thing a reference to popular 90s anime heroines that 'couldn't love him more even if they wanted' was awesome enough but the fact that Eita also chose the CVs for them was just priceless.
