| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- lol~ two young guys interested in sumo!! Evil leader's evil doing again, and Hijikata needs to take care of it again. Even the miko is thinking about killing him. Evil leader in pain (with a hint of losing memory, but still remembers, it seems), and Kazama appearing!! He knows that he's sick. The gov. knows that it was evil leader who was trouble-making that made Shinsengumi bad. For once, they and the evil leader are in one thought, to protect the gov. And officially "Shinsengumi" was named by the gov. Two rasetsu were made in secret while they were celebrating, and they escaped next ep. |

| I'm puzzled. I can't tell if Serizawa is really a bad guy. At first I thought he was evil itself, but now... I don't know.... I wonder what does he have... He looks like he lost his mind for a moment... And Chikage appeared! I was so happy! I missed him soooo much! I didn't think he would be making his appearance in the reimeiroku. Anyway, he's wonderful as always. Finally they became Shinsengumi. I can't stand Niimi anymore. He just have to die! Looking forward to the next episode |
| Shinsengumi are finally Shinsengumi (sounds weird, but you know what I mean) and Kazama (yesss~ I missed his voice) appears. I agree with AngelAngela, I hated Serizawa at the beginning, but now I feel kind of sorry for him, despite his behaviour. I'm also curious about his relationship with Oume. |

| Somewhat glad to see there are other people oscillating on feelings with Serizawa as well. I think I mentioned for the previous episode that at the start I thought he was good already but then those feelings slowly faded until now. And through it all there's no denying he has that presence that people will want to follow. |

But what made me feel less positive about him wasn't just that he did things badly. It was the way he acted while doing this stuff that made me concerned. |

| Even 10 episodes later, I'm still getting mixed messages on Serizawa. While his methods are cruel and he's mostly a selfish prick, he's still very wise and insightful and has his shining moments (such as taking that woman in and his reply to Kazama). I just can't bring myself to dislike him. |

| Wow, this was a seriously good episode. Serizawa's image has finally been completely uncovered. He's a really respectable warrior. Kazama was badass as ****. iHitokage said: Ikr, I overjoyed as much as them when they got the Shinsengumi name.heh every time I watch Hakuouki I would like to be a member of Shinsengumi so badly :D I don't know why I realize it just now, but the ending is so great. |
