Oh man BEAUTIFUL FIGHT! I love it! Fire VS imagine breaker. Seems he could not contain the powerful Djiin of fire. |

| I'm loving the animation; J.C Staff styled flames ftw~ (lol, Shana style) I'll be rating this weeks episode 5/5. It looks like the story is going to get past the scanlations within a few episodes. |

| I kind of felt like dropping this series after watching last episode. I must have been in a bad mood or something - this episode was way fun to watch. A flame beast named Innocentus weilding a cross made of fire... if that's not cool, I don't know what is. Touma's Godhand ability is pretty awesome, as well. Also, magic is only for normal people. :-P |
| i love this series already... a lot of interesting stuff taking place... sucks for Kamijou, he wants to help out real bad, but can't do anything with his right hand in the way... can't wait for the upcoming episodes and battles |

| Awesome Fight between The Kick ASS Fire DEmon, Incentus against Touma's Imagine Breaker! Oh God! It was so awesome! I too found the loli teacher not a likeable character but with the rest in it, I think this anime is the BEST for the season!!!! Cant wait to see the Angel in the next episode!! |

| The animation for the flames really went smooth, and it indeed reminds Shakugan no Shana, the OP also reminds me a lot of it. I wanted them to show the heal magic this episode, and was disappointed when it ended without doing so, but at least the preview show they didn't skip it. |

| The magic is really well portrayed, reminds me kind of how they did it im MaiHIMe. Epic battle. But did anyone else get the impression that Magnus was actually on Index's side? LOL smoking/drinking loli. And the music is once again awesome. |

| This is already shaping up to be one of Falls better shows. It's a bit weird that only normal people can actually use magic, and not those with special powers but that's kinda unique in a way too. Fight was very good for being such an early fight. Touma can cancel magic, but can he actually do something to protect them other than punching someone in the face? That's obviously not always gonna do the works so I'm guessing someone else will have to take care of the fighting unless something happens with Touma. He's not gonna be able to protect Index at least with just being able to canceling magic even though he did in this episode. Again great episode, even better than the first I'd say. |

| The action scene was interesting. His way of defeating the enemy reminds me of Taiga from the manga Mx0. My favourite part was when the teacher asked Touma if he hates girls that smoke XD. Her habits aren't very appropriate for her age. |

| I liked the first episode good enough, but the fight in this episode was just too long with badly written dialogue and horribly directed. That said there's still superpowers, so even if the fight seemed like it was copied right out of the Bount Arc from Bleach, I'll probably still watch. |
| The episode was a bit slow but the plot is taking shape and it's still very entertaining with great characters. The fight was too long for me though, but the animation and SFX were great so I can overlook that... |

| Good stuff... fall season doesn't disppoint me (Shikabane, Gundam 00, Nodame Paris, Ga-rei, Mouryou and Majutsu no Index!!) I think Magic and Esper are on par with each other. We have yet to see more Esper vs. Magic battle. |

| Having read the manga, I'm finding that it's not only following the manga, but kind of following the spin-off for the shocker girl as well. I find that rather interesting actually. I'm really starting to like this anime though. It's pretty original what with the main character having a double-edged sword of a power. |

I can't wait to see what kind of other effects it'll evolve into and be used for. Anyway. good episode. Not much development between Index and Kamijo, but the fight was good. Definitely one of my more favorite anime this fall. |
| So am I the only one who thinks Magnus is a spitting image of Axel from Kingdom Hearts, especially when he would purposely repeat words that he said slowly for emphasis (got it memorized?) Not that I'm complaining or anything :) |
