THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Misaki Mei and her sister Misaki. This is a story before her sister died. Mei seem so happy here, guess she stop smiling when her sister died. I thought she would fall down and die, but she still was alive. Well she died in the end thought. |

THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Very nice episode. I liked the beginning a lot where both twins play around with a guy until he see Mei and freaks out naturally. About the fan service, well done. No details and clean. Both twins have b cup small breasts and in the spoiler The bird going SPLAT BLOOD was a good fear factor. It is to further say the the OVA was good in atmosphere and that Misaki was really close in feeling and reactions towards being the same as Mei. Sadly she will never have any love since Misaki dies in the hospital bed. Death did not like her fooling around with it. Death does not forgive insults. That can be seen. It was obvious Misaki was taking this all as a joke or not serious. What comes around goes around, make fund of death and it will seek you. |

Another Misaki has totally different personality, and Mei is brighter with her. Another Misaki sometimes sounds like Kanae Itou, though. That doll that remembers Mei is one of her aunt. Mei became cautious of Misaki after seeing something with another eye. Wow, that bird... and fortunately it's almost landing. After that Misaki got sick. She didn't finish her doll on time, so that's why she delivered it on TV series (which it connects to ep.1 of TV series). |

It could be a fine start for this anime. Yeah, with a big spoiler, but we could have better picture about the whole anime. |

It was beautiful. And the way it tied to the series was fantastic. The sadness. Have to admit the ferris wheel moment was f*cking hilarious though. Had no flaws. 10/10. |

Very good prequel; surprised by the way she died; but i guess it was to be different, since dying by falling of the Ferris wheel would have been predictable; you could even see the bird in the background for a while before it crashed. |

Well... That sucks... I'm one half of a twin myself, and I can't even imagine how painful it'd be to lose him. I don't think being apart since birth will change that... Misaki died unusually fast even for Leukemia... I knew and heard of several Leukemia patients, and the doctors usually warn them whether they'd make it or not at least 2~3 days before they kick the bucket... For Misaki to die so suddenly like that is really odd. Mei's kinda illogical as a character looking back... if she could see the color of death, one would imagine that she'd do something about it, then again, she couldn't save her other half, so it probably did quite some damage to her... Or she wanted everyone to lose someone like her? Mei's is really usual... akira25ysai said: Oh, sisterly love :) looked more like yuri :P I just know people ganna say this >_< Am I the only one who find it normal for the pair to take shower/bath/sleep(not sexually) together(Whether I'm slightly arouse or not is irrelevant)? The only complaint I have is how small the damn bath is. Even for twin of different sex, sleeping on the same bed is normal IMO so long as they are not doing anything incestuous. |

I think Mei was a quite girl to begin with. Then she closed herself in after Misaki's death :( Sakakibara opened her heart once again after that :) really love the story in Another ^^ |

I was successfully trolled by this episode. Twice (like a lot of other people). I knew she was going to die (uhhh... duh? part of the back story), but each time I was like "Oh shit... here it comes..." then the OVA goes "LOL, It's okay dude. she's still alive. For now anyway." |

This was a nice episode. I believe the doll took Misaki's life as she was reaching out for it in the end. Mei kinda figured that the doll killed her so she took it and threw it somewhere in the hospital which explains the death of the nurse in the sequel. |

Damn, what happened to the other girl really scarred her for life, that she wound up having that melancholic, deadpan personality for the rest of the show. Otherwise 3/4s of it was... HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG worthy. |

Loved it 10/10 Great for those who loved the series. As for the OVA itself. Those times where she was about to die ... she didn't. I was shouting at my screen during those times when she was about to die. But ... when she did die in the hospital ... I wasn't as loud as I was those previous times. Does that make me a bad person? ... Meh kwills88 said: I love that this wasn't just "another" pointless OVA like most anime I see what you did there |

Almost seemed like a part of Final Destination. The moments we see the screw falling and the bird flying some time before the actual accident etc. Too bad it wasn't like the premonitions in the movie, where the protagonist exactly knew what would happen. €: Oh wait...she didn't die just there. Should really watch the whole episode before posting ;p |

Deadly Bird flying at a speed of 100 km/s OK. I really don't know how fast a bird should be flying in order to burst on impact like that one just did? Any ideas people? Or does logic not apply to anything in the horror genre. |

"Siblings are the second degree of relationship, aren't they?" "Parents are the first, grandparents are the second, and siblings are also the second, right?" Wrong. You may want to restudy genetics. playmakerjiz said: kwills88 said: I love that this wasn't just "another" pointless OVA like most anime I see what you did there Because nobody made that joke during the anime's run. |

The ferris wheel incident was hilarious. Even though we all knew that Misaki would die, this OVA showed the close relationship between her and Mei and how her death affected Mei so much. It pretty much tied some loose ends. |

They should sue the fairground ride for not maintaining that ride properly! :P The ending scene in context was rather sad compared to the first episode when it was a creepy introduction to Mei. I would like to see another OVA detailing the past of Kouichi's aunt and mother :). |
