| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Damn, so Hezma died? I never expected one the main characters to die. This whole episode about Gerzia was quite interesting, detailing exactly what happend back then and i dont know if im behind time here but i had no idea that "palza" was conrad rugen, the guy responsible for building the X rays technology on earth. But i like how it explained it in full detail and how Mel left palza afterwards and created her own tranference device to warp through time but instead in the process lost all of her memories. Then later was captured by Dumas and manipulated into creating another transference device using the X ray technology. Did i miss anything here? In away now that this much story has been explained, you can kind of see that the single encounter with palza at the beginning of the series is what spiraled everything in the show. From the how palza left Mel and became a famous scientist and took the name "conrad rugen" who was the one that developed the x rays, which in turn speeded up the process of the development of the transference device with in the GED organization. Then Dumas captured Mel, manipulating her to work on the GED projects. So in other words if palza never left, history would of changed completely. Well now the rest of the group and thoma and heading inside the massive ship to rescue helga from Dumas. The next episode "the truth about thoma" is the one i been waiting for ever to see. I think i can guess who is real identity is but ill wait to see the episode. |

| Could've used Wonder a bit more during the standoff with Dumas...and that scientist who tried to bring Gherta back disappeared kinda conveniently (just went ahead without looking back? xD) But that aside, the intrigue intensifies! |
| Sometimes I wonder why Gherta is a major character and not a minor antagonist who stopped being relevant before the second half of the series. |
