Tbh, Komari getting nervous about speaking in front of a crowd is normal. More importantly also involves this student council meeting. I think Komari just needs to develop better social skills as she seems to hae a hard time expressing herself. Nukumizu still has the play the role of a leader/life coach as usual. Although from the start, it looks like every character has their own flaws. We just get to see more of Komari's this time. |

I don’t think Komari’s anxiety can be cured by leaving her around a herd of sheep lol. Moreover, I can feel it’s equally frustrating when she’s trying to do her best(according to her, at least) and still people like the busybody our main guy is, trying to give the unneeded help. I mean we know, you’re worried about her but hey ain’t this her arc? Still if someone does realize they fucked up then I think that’s good going for the time being. Also, I must say Nukumizu’s sister is severely underrated… … that girl deserves MORE than a couple of minutes she gets in every episode or two. Also man, I really want to say something which I always think is excessively exaggerated in anime, and that is the stuff around the student council. THESE PEOPLE WEREN’T IN A BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING RIGHT.. OF A MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY??? They’re in school so why not just be normal and let people like Komari breathe and take time with things they’re not comfortable with? Won’t justify whatever she did with the dude but still lol. Glad the drama that started with some sudden outburst got concluded here only, in a hilarious way too, if I say. Should’ve liked though if Komari continued being the prez, I mean THAT was the point. |

Komari best girl and if you don’t see it by now you’re blind. Best girl. Best arc. This was an incredible way to wrap up her character development arc and it looks like the season as a whole since next week is an anime original ending?! I’m worried they try and wrap the whole story up in one episode or make it basically impossible to do a s2. Makeine books are selling like hotcakes the anime is topping every chart, not really understanding the logic in going with a filler finale.. That aside, I love so much about this episode and there’s some real big takeaways that you can apply irl. Nukumizu had nothing but positive intentions with everything he was doing for Komari, but it ended up coming off as patronising and belittling to her. Often times it’s not about what you mean, but how other people feel. With all her anxieties and insecurities, Nukumizu speaking up for her on her behalf must’ve felt like him saying she wasn’t good enough. That outburst at the club reporting session was hard to watch considering how quiet she normally is But I loved the rooftop scene so much. It’s funny how the staff snap on these. We ended episode 1 off with a bang on the roof and cap off the season there too. At the end of the day, Komari, like so many of us just wants to be accepted and have a group of friends that won’t leave her alone. No one can ever really know the future for certain, but as Nukumizu tells us that doesn’t mean those relationships aren’t worth having. There’s always things we can learn and take away from friendships and fleeting relationships. It’s painful, but it’s worth it. There’s also the double entendre with Komari calling Nukumizu the “new president”. He’s both literally in charge of the club and the new object of her affection which was a really cool way to illustrate that change. Also, was that the first time she talked without stuttering?! So proud of her!! Love this episode |

Bro, everyone was having such a nice time in the zoo with all those cute animals around to pet ... then these troubled school kids came there with their drama and ruined it for everyone, smh. But we got to see the blonde treasury girl this week, so all forgiven. |

You know shits getting serious when they replace the OP with a montage of some beautiful scenery with the gang. Nah but seriously, it makes sense, given how they wanted to finish off volume three this episode, aka the end of Komari's arc. Her biggest hurdle yet ofc, being her getting jumped by sheep's lol. Meanwhile, we got Yanami over here coping with herself that "the more calories the better the diet!"... I'm pretty sure that's NOT how it works LOL. Nah, but actually, Komari's biggest hurdle so far isn't the sheep's, it's this script and trying to perfect it. I get her. She's someone with social anxiety, and her anxiety is at the max right now due to the all the pressure and the big expectations for her that Koto left. Makes sense why she'd want to quit, or maybe she just didn't want to even become the president from the first place, as she said. When your pressured into it like she was, and with her social anxiety, she can't really say it upfront at the time. Yanami over here meanwhile STAYS eating bruh, MY FUCK. At least she's lost 2 kilos... at least. I bet she gained them shits RIGHT back when she snatched up that cake that meant to be for Komari from Nuku. But yeah, the minute I saw that Komari had resorted to the good ol' writing the speech on the hand method I just knew she was the most relatable. To make matters worse, she not only made the bottle cap go across the table, BUT SHE EVEN DID THE CLASSIC DROPPING PAPERS THING... I felt for her HARD in that scene. It's as Nuku says, when someone like her that has major anxiety, it's hard to forget that moment. She'll be thinking about it constantly, while the others there will forget it after the meeting is over. 'I'm not good when it comes to people, so I have no friends.' Damn. If only she knew that she had people around her at all times that care about her, love her, and cherish her. Nuku being one of the biggest ones. And in normal Komari fashion, her dumbass was typing that in the FUCKING GC LOLOLOLOL. Felt so bad for her this episode, but in the end, Komari figured out that there was people that care about her. Three of them in fact. Her fellow losing heroines, that is. And Nuku finally tasking responsibility for this whole ordeal this episode in the end as well. Didn't think an arc could get better than Lemon's, but here we are. Easily the best of the three losing heroine arcs, NO DOUBT. Am sad to see that the finale will be a filler, but I hope it's good filler that transitions into season two, and not filler that just ends the show right then and there. P.S. AHHHH KOMARI'S SMILING IN THE ED NOW!!!!!!! |

So much miscommunication and grief before finding out the crux of Chika’s need was friends rather than the club. A good example of frame of reference weakness. Kazuhiko has been so comfortable being a loner that he could not see it, but props to him for keeping at it until he got to the result. |

Peak episode. When was the last time we got an romance anime episode that looks this good. This episode feels like an perfect finale but we have one more episode left and i have a feeling it will be like eighty six episode 22 and then we get episode 23 which even surpassed the peak finale. |

Now that's a nice way to wrap Komari's arc. She still has a long way to go but she has grown a lot and I've come to like her character quite a bit but still I like Anna and Lemon chan more. Talking about them, Anna never stop eating lol and Lemon chan with those wild entrances. Also looks like we are getting an anime original episode as sort of epilogue or something for the finale. Found this fanart which I found hilarious but very accurate. A cute otter like Nukumizu himself said. |

When the episode started with the credits running on top, I panicked - “is this the last episode??” Thankfully a quick check at MAL tells me there is one more ep. (All my other fav shows ended this week 😭) This show gets better and better, and this may have been the best episode yet. Komari is the most interesting heroine IMO, there’s a lot going on with her and she’s way more relatable than the others, well at least for some people. I mean, I have social issues, but I don’t stuff my face every 5 minutes, and I suck at sports. I was a little blindsided at the ending, Nukumizu is now the President, I mean isn’t the whole point for Komari to overcome her social issues, but now it looks like she won’t have to try as hard. But I trust that the mangaka knows what he is doing. It sure hope S2 has been greenlit, like some other shows this week. |

Komari-chan has me at this point pissed me off quite a bit, I felt the story and her resolution of the festival and quite liked it, but now we have to deal with another issue that involves her character that seemingly hasn't managed to grow AT ALL. Went straight back to who she was before the festival, thereby I deem her a SHIT character who is just pissing me off by now. It soured the entire episode just seeing the first 3min of her bitching again. |

This show keeps being awesome from start to finish. Sad it got eclipsed by shows with more viral clips or brand name. Sorry Holo, Anna is best girl of the season. You just don't find a lot like her, and even less that are not voiced by Amamiya Sora. About the chapter, it took an awful lot, an in some way is impressive that it wasn't apparent during the school fest, but Komari finally understands that she is not alone. Glad for her, that smile is worth a billion. |

Nukumizu is hella relatable, I just wanna be alone and never strive to make friends I really love how recently Komari has been put in the spotlight, She's easily the best female character in the show imo. I say this about a lot of shows, How even if all the other characters are boring af as long as you have a strong lead pair than the show will always be great. This show does that and goes beyond cause literally every single character in the show is all so unique, well written and so much fun |

Man, I wanted to smack Nukumizu this episode, he handled things so badly. At least Lemon-chan gave Komari the hug she needed. I’m still not sure if he made the right decision to take the presidency from Komari. He seemed to be on the right track when he asked Shikiya to look after Komari, but he should have spoken to the President and Tiara-nyan about it too. Nukumizu’s final monologue was pretty depressing too. There’s no reason not think they could all be life-long friends, instead of assuming they’d all just go their separate ways and never speak again. Oh well, hopefully next week’s original episode will be more fun. |

The lighting and colors in this episode were tremendous. I really don't think this series gets enough credit, when it was raining, it actually looked overcast because of the muted colors and dark lighting. Then the sunset scene at the end was incredible. Just a stunning episode, visually speaking. Komari feeling as though she has to take up the mantle of president, but she failed to properly present in front of the rest of the group. In the end, she just wanted friends and the club was her gateway to that. I really enjoyed her arc, she's a bit different than the other two. While she was sad that she wasn't able to be with the one she likes, she was still happy that she felt that way about him. I found this to be the most mature take out of the three girls. But now she's more worried about her future making friends instead. Her trust had been shaken due to her two senpai leaving, and she didn't trust Nuku and gang to stick around either. Guess it's a good thing that Komari texted everything in the group chat. That was a nice touch by the way, having her express her feelings through writing rather than speaking. I really liked that, as it's completely in line with her character. Only one more episode, but this show has been stellar so far. I've enjoyed nearly every aspect from the characters, visuals, story, and so on. Looking forward to the finale. |

I wonder if the last episode will manage to salvage the ending. After a decent season the last two episodes were pretty bad. The previous one had the worst pacing in the whole season and this one made me annoyed with every single main character. With MC for being so whishy-washy and not speaking up straight even once, Yanagi for eating sweets while knowing they were for someone else, T&F girl for choking MC for no reason and of course with Komari for wasting everyone's time at the meeting, throwing a fit in front of everyone and working on her stage fright just a couple days before the meeting while moaning about doing everything herself, when her responsibility as a president is to have the club running and making use of other members if necessary. This episode was awfully and overly melodramatic. I miss Yanagi's coping with failed relationship. Komari's arc turned out to be the worst part of the show. |

I absolutely love the characters of this anime. Nukumizu was really out of line and an asshole in this episode, but contrary to the norm in this kind of situation, it's not because he is completely unempathetic or just your usual dumb MC; he's just young and sometimes doesn't know the weight of his words; he's a stupid kid, and I love that. He is always respectful and a good person, you know, just chilling, but can fuck up from time to time. This is the kind of ''realism'' I look for in anime, but there's very few who make it work as well as this. And Komari is such a refreshing take on the ''shy girl'' type of character; being like that is not what gives her value in the story; she's not just someone that appears from time to time to serve as a comedic relief. She's amazing because she is constantly wanting and trying to improve, taking risks she isn't comfortable with, taking responsibility for the ones around her, and working hard to be better. That desire makes her feel human. I'm really glad with the arcs each character had through the series; they all had their own way of dealing with their problems, and I can't say this enough; they all feel human. If only there wasn't so much, in my opinion, unnecessary fanservice throughout the series, this would easily be a 9/10; I really don't want it to end. |

So I thought I rated this 8/10, but I actually haven't rated yet. I'll give 9/10 expecting next episode to be a really good anime original, and not one that worsens the show. Wow, no opening? How will I ever know who the studio is now?! Kidding, not having the opening was absolutely the right decision for this episode. Early into episode I felt that both logically Komori should delegate (I share her illogical feelings) and felt like she was being a little mean to Nukumizu (in a friendly way, but felt mean) Then Nuku... yes... logically... he is technically right... but it felt so damn harsh and I would also probably react like that if I was Komori. Is it the right reaction.. no.. but... Then the meeting. The only real solution that the people there could have done, was offer someone else to read it, but that defeats the purpose of the whole situation and also would have been bad. Nukumizu's mind/heart is in the right place, he doesn't want this moment to scar her. He made a major decision, that was logically the right move, but in the short-term was a lethal attack to Komori. Lastly... their interaction... <3 :') Her belief she will now be alone is irrational, she had friends. Nukumizu realizes she's a normal girl (not the same intentionally background character he is that tries to be alone, well not to same degree I'd say, and she DOESN'T want to be alone) and makes clear he really likes her writing and will be with her always. Going on the start of the series, he has an accurate but pessimistic look on high school relationships. He learns that yes it can be sad, but the forming and breaking of relationships doesn't have to be a bad thing. 5/5 the anime ending this way was <3, maybe I was thinking of a different anime, but before watching I thought I saw comment saying this becomes a harem. I am extremely happy that does not appear to be the case and they all seem to be really damn good friends <3 (little sister got the "women's intuition" LOL) |

Yeah, it was strange to see Komari struggle like this again, after the conclusion to her "arc" that felt pretty final in the last episode. I think the issue this time around was that there are still some things that she should handle by herself no matter what, even if she may get some help from time to time, like she did during the cultural festival. She was extremely stubborn about it, though, which was the weirdest part. Shouldn't she be at least a little bit open to the idea of delegating the public speaking?? |

Then the meeting. The only real solution that the people there could have done, was offer someone else to read it, but that defeats the purpose of the whole situation and also would have been bad. Nukumizu's mind/heart is in the right place, he doesn't want this moment to scar her. He made a major decision, that was logically the right move, but in the short-term was a lethal attack to Komori.
Lastly... their interaction... <3 :')
Her belief she will now be alone is irrational, she had friends.
I am extremely happy that does not appear to be the case and they all seem to be really damn good friends <3 (little sister got the "women's intuition" LOL)
@LilyVarbik It was a good episode, there were almost no cuts compared to the Lemon arc, and also Nukumizu released his latent power as MC Conquistador and became Nukurizzu lmao, he was already able to reach Komari's heart with just one message. Only the harem part is up to each viewer's interpretation |

I dunno about this episode, man, I think it's a miss. Ever since the beach episode I feel like the show shifted and became about Komari, with other characters sprinkled in. (from what other replies I read in these forums, I think it has to do with the source material, and not opening new plot lines because they wouldn't had time to properly flesh them out, so they concentrated on what's already available and had time for, Komari's arc) I feel like there's a limit to how much you can push a friend. I would 100% agree with anybody that what Nukumizu did at the zoo is extremely realistic. Hell, I pissed off a loved one cause I said something stupid and invalidated their entire effort too! The road to hell is paved with good intentions yada yada yada. But to go, unnanounced, into a meeting and overstep whatever authority your friend has, is a step too far in my opinion. I would never dream of doing that to any of my friends and I would be extremely put off if any of my friends did that, especially after learning that it's something personal that I have to overcome. It's less about showing support and more about thinking you're in the right, and that reads extremely out of character for Nukumizu. I didn't think that was something he would ever do. When they showed them outside the meeting I thought he would do something silly to alleviate Komari's tension or something, but that's not what happened, I'm getting pissed off just thinking about it now. In my opinion, Nukumizu should have faced way more consequences. I don't know, my opinion. |

It was hard to watch Komari struggle due to her anxiety in the student council meeting. But thankfuly everything turned out well and Nukumizu is now the new president. This was a very nice ending to the arc. |

Another great episode focused on the character development of Komari, the best of all the girls. I loved how Komari realized her limitations, despite all her efforts to reach the same level as her former superiors. Her struggles with socializing have kept her from succeeding in many areas of her life, and while it's understandable that she wants to overcome her fears, the truth is that she doesn't want to be alone. That's why she goes above and beyond, even with her limitations. Now she realizes that she's not alone. She has Nukumizu, who takes on the responsibility as the new club president, along with Anna and Lemon; even Shikiya supported her during her speech. I think that's a good thing. Nukumizu is the best suited for the position. He's reliable and proved himself capable when Komari got sick. Plus, he's a great friend. While anime often focuses on romantic relationships, friendships, especially Nukumizu's bond with everyone, tend to get overlooked. He genuinely helps everyone and is so committed that it even affects him emotionally at times; That's what a true friend is. Nukumizu is a very solid character. From what I've seen, this is the last episode of the Komari arc, and the remaining episodes will be filler. Still, this has been a great anime and I hope they make another season. |

I can kind of handwave away how "extreme" that move was to "being an anime", especially one that's been leaning hard into anime tropes, at that. As for why Nukumizu had to do that, I think that move was intended to be out of character for Nukumizu. He obviously cares a lot about Komari, and his repeated offer to attend the meeting on her behalf was implied to be an attempt to protect her. Which is already "out of character," actually. At the meeting, he felt he had to do something, but he didn't exactly know what, and chose the obvious, over-the-top approach that doesn't even help her. I don't think the show is characterizing that move as acceptable or smart, either. Anna calls him out on it, and Nukumizu himself admits that it was "out of line" and apologizes. And I think Komari lets him off the hook a bit because she knows she completely failed her goal already by the time Nukumizu entered the room. |
