| Well, it's nice to know that Yozakura family can enjoy and spend some time together before their big battle. A cherry bloosom fits really well and gave Taiyo/Mutsumi some time to be together. Oh and Shion singing with a microphone! What a surprise. It was a fun buildup episode for the first half but they should get more serious for the battle coming. I hope they won't rush it but there's a few episodes left. |

| They need to just let Ban out of prison at this point lmao. I LOVED the Yozakura family banquet though. Nice relaxing vibes at the start of the episode before the big battle begins and it’s cool that the Sakura tree viewing isn’t just for looks, but has actual lore significance. Lot of nice wholesome moments with all the Yozakura today, especially Mutsumi and Taiyo. But Shion and Mutsumi Girls Band Cry collab when? That performance on stage was great lol. So Mutsumi mother is still out there, that would explain why the dad is “working with” Kawashita. Couldn’t see any other reason before, but now things make a little more sense. Every time we’ve seen him he’s helped out Taiyo so I figured he wasn’t a bad guy. Didn’t think we’d get into the action in this episode, but those last few mins were great. Futaba’s Sakura Blossom Drain looks amazing. I can’t wait for the big fight to continue next week. These last few eps are gonna be wild. |

| Preparation for the mission. But also 5 minutes of action? Wouldn't it have been better to start the mission next episode and expand on the party? I would have liked to have seen a little more of Shinzō's performance and the family member's interactions. It is what it is I guess... |

| The Yozakura Family's cherry blossom viewing party before the big operation, a chill before the storm. Beneath the Yozakura Family tree of Tennou, this cherry blossom tree has been the legend of the family and reacts to those who has the power of the family blood, which Taiyo's blood naturally reacts to. Naturally, everyone is invited, be it Hinagiku, or even Hoshifuru who still has a crush on Taiyo, and even the elusive spy Ayaka gets involved in his love affair...or rather, the affair of the egg omelets made by all. And being the all-accepting person that he is in the banquet. Taiyo is just that. Even Tanpopo is of the same mind in celebration. The girls' troupe of Grandma Keiko, Mutsumi and Keiko sure put on a good performance, even if it puts the front singer in pure embarrassment singing a Mahou Shoujo song lols. With the festivities out of the way, the plan gets into action stopping both Tanpopo and their mystery father Momo...only for Kyouchiro to weave Taiyo to seeing their mother's grave, except that it's without her body, which definitely has been presumed that it's in Tanpopo's hands without the know-how of the other siblings. The title really comes into play as Mission: Yozakura Family - The Front Lines, dropping into Skeleton Island where Tanpopo's hideout is, trying to breach through access in real time, swift and quick, as per planned. And this will not be an easy mission... |

| The calmest of calms before the storm. A whole idol performance, to a whole little pre-filed trip pamphlet briefing of what's to come lol. I have faith in SILVER LINK to cook in these episodes after the Yuki fight... I hope. |

| I thought this was a great episode with a calm before the storm vibe with the family banquet and performances, and towards the end of it pamphlets were handed out going over their mission that felt like a field trip according to Taiyo lol. Only negative (not really) thing I can say is that this episode went by too fast and just as the action kicked off it was over. |

Well, Ban Yozakura can leave and enter prison whenever he wants, because being member of Yozakura Family, is one of the best spies with extraordinary skills and strategies. | The Yozakura family sure knows how to have fun and uphold good traditions. The one who stood out the most was Shion with her excellent singing voice, although it was clear in the end that she didn't really want to sing, so I'm curious about who convinced her to do it. Even the members of Tanpopo had their own party before the battle. They finally confirmed it even though we saw Mutsumi's mother in cryostasis in the opening, I still had doubts. But with what Kyoichiro said about never finding her body, that might be the reason why Momo is helping Tanpopo. Perhaps he's doing it all to protect his wife's body. The next chapters are going to be full of action, and I’m excited! The confrontation that Futaba is going to have looks more than interesting, although I doubt it will cause too much trouble for the strongest member of the Yozakura family. |

@gorkthe134th There's a limited episode count (5 episodes left after this week), they have like 2 volumes of the manga left to get through, AND they expanded the party a lot from the manga. They're doing great.
| @Scarred_Hero15 Sorry, I have not read the manga and the party didn't not feel expanded to me. Also from a quick look at the manga it seems like we are on Mission 67 - 68, nowhere near to catching up or anything like that, so I guess there is an important event in 2 volumes you think they want to reach, or they have stated they want to reach? (No spoilers pls) |
| Calm before the storm - vibes at the start of this episode. I suppose rest of the season will be about the mission on this island. |

@gorkthe134th the Skeleton Island arc ends what fans consider the first saga of the series, which ends with Ch. 86. As for the cherry blossom viewing party, the Hinagiku and Hoshifuru weren't present in the original so the whole rolled omelette ordeal was anime original content. The talent show was also heavily expanded as Shion's song lasted a page in the manga. They added SO MANY good character interactions, but again, they're running out of time to finish the current arc so it couldn't have lasted the whole episode.

| Wasn't expecting a full on jam session. Thought Shion was drunk at first but it was just too embarrassing for her. At least she loves her siblings enough to do something like this for them. Thank goodness they didn't give the mic to Mutsumi for her to sing. Seems fitting to end the season on this arc. Looking forward to the fights ahead. |

| What a great song by Shion. I loved it! A banquet with the Yozakura's and their allies and a party from the villainous Tanpopo crew. The author really has a knack for getting you invested before a big battle. Kyoichiro's goal of getting his mothers body out of Tanpopos hands is an honorable one, and with how curt Momo Yozakura is with Kawashita. I'm seeing a good reason for why he might be going along with his schemes... |
