| Arajin just can't seem to catch a break; trouble always finds him. It was the scheming of the NG BOYS' leader, Shindo Akutarou, that ignited the conflict between the Minato Association and the Siguma Squad. Arajin, who unexpectedly earned Akutaro's favor, finds himself heading to the battlefield alongside them. However, when Mahoro discovers the orchestrated conflict, will she intervene between the Minato Association and the Siguma Squad, or will she stay out of the whole thing? Meanwhile Arajin, stays being Arajin. It's really tough if Arajin doesn't step in to help out. Trying to handle rebellious high schoolers back when I was in elementary school was like trying to move a mountain. Arajin always seems to find himself tangled up in stuff, which is typical for the story's flow. But compared to Matakara, who's genuinely a decent guy, Arajin doesn't come across as favorable as the main character. Keep your chin up, Arajin. |

| Matakara tried stopping the gang war but it looks like Jin and Kenichiro are determined to fight. Also it looks like Arajin and Senya's merging is improving. We need the mystery of the teacher and Jasmine-chan to be cleared up lol. |

| Nothing was going to stop Jin and Kenichiro from clashing with each other. Looks like we are going to have a three way brawl between Minato, Siguma, and NG Boys thanks to Arajin who continues to simp his way out of his problems. |

| honestly if Utsumi wasn't at the helm of this anime I would've dropped it by now. But I guess I'll stick with it for now. What's interesting is that there's another credit for the creatot and script writer. Looked at his work, and he's done a wide range of stuff, pretty good anime too, so I'm stumped as to why this anime is so mediocre so far. Arajin has to be the worst mc I've personally seen in an anime. He's such a ,massive shitlord with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Like I don't see how he can get any character development unless he gets a complete 180 personality change. Like I think the only thing that could change that is if Mahoro flat out tells him she hates his guts. But even then he'd probably be in denial over it because he's a horny dumb fuck... Even if you try to ignore Arajin the rest of the anime is just....fine....All the secondary characters being so over the top and wacky is entertaining enough I guess but that's starting to get stale too. Also, who the hell is this anime supposed to before? Dumb horny teenage boys like the mc? I'm watching it because of Utsumi, who's original anime usually caters to female audiences, queer audiences, fujoshis/fundashis...but this ain't it. Just give us the second season of SK8 Infinity already |
| This show just keeps getting better and better man wow another great ep Yea I can’t lie that private concert they gave Arajin to get him to join NG would’ve made me fold. Those girls were hot lmao. Given how down bad he is I’m surprised he held out Finally get some insight into Arajin and Matakara backstory. Looks like Arajin has taken a lot of his own insecurities out on Matakara. Leaving your friend to get their ass beat is messed up. Just say you’re sorry and feel bad for letting him down instead of constantly avoiding him and shitting on him at school. Even after all of that Matakara still believes that Arajin hasn’t abandoned their dream of being honki people and that he’s still the same kid he idolised growing up. If the friendship ain’t like that I don’t want it. Speaking of backstories, we got Shindo’s and I can’t help but see the parallels between he and Ken’s beef and Matakara and Arajin. So bro wants to bring down Ken and his gang because HE(Shindo) cheated in a fight lol. If anything blame yourself, should’ve just taken the L and ran it back next time. Loser Threatening to use Mahoro as a trophy girl was probably the worst possible thing he could’ve done in front of Arajin too 😂 Speaking of which, you know Ken is crazy strong when even Mahoro is afraid that her brother might get his ass best if they fight lmao Crazy episode |

| I'm so conflicted about Arajin. There are so many unlikable qualities about him; it's insane. I don't understand how Matakara is still trying to be friends with him. From what I gathered, Arajin is trying to ignore him so that he doesn't repeat what happened when they were younger with him running away, but this is the worst method. Anything else is probably better. I'm just waiting for insane character development to happen to Arajin at this point. |

| People fr are missing out on this show. Though it all depends on how they execute Arajin's redemption which I think will be sort of a saving grace, they've been slowly building up to it. Hope Arajin and Matakara can reunite as friends by the end. |

| That episode felt like 5 minutes! Also, Matakara is the embodiment of "Love is blind". No matter what Arajin does, Matakara always finds a way to interpret it as something that affirms his image of him. I just hope he won't get hurt. |

| The real despair is that both Arajin and Matakara are both similarly traumatized; Matakara confides in Arajin as a middle brother while his older brother's absent. As Arajin does look down upon Matakara due to our perception of gullibility personified as a weakness. Arajin is desperate to reprehend himself for leaving Matakara. Losing his virginity aside from death to him seems to be the only significant thing that'll stabilize his fractured state to subside with Matakara. |
| This show has been so nonsensically stupid that I was having fun watching it for the most part, but watching this episode just pissed me off. I had some small hope of liking Arajin as a MC sooner or later, but his shallow "backstory" with Matakara simply confirmed how much of a shithead he was and still is, and I don't think there's anything he could do to redeem himself. I sure hope there's more to the backstory because if that's all there is to it and Matakara still has those stupid rose-colored glasses for Arajin after all this...I'm gonna bang my head against the floor. And as expected, Marito and Kenichirou both want to follow through their match no matter what, but it still would've been nice if they both agreed to beat the hell out of Shindo first. |

I keep waiting for this horny little dweeb to show an ounce of integrity or backbone... Like, yay, he objects to the idea of Mahoro being a sex slave, but that might be down to him not wanting to share (it's not like he gives a reason for decking the fucker, they undercut that dramatic moment with more shit humor). At least Senya is frustrated with him, too.
Maybe this isn't my genre? I didn't think I disliked delinquent stories, but the only thing I agree with Laji on is his attitude toward fighting and gang culture as macho posturing bullshit (he clocked NG's cultishness immediately). Sadly he can't even stick to that because bitchless here truly has no principles.
This Boys in the Trees-ass backstory is honestly not helping. Matakara seems like a decent kid; he doesn't start fights, but FINISHES them, has a sense of honor and seems more into the gang life to protect his people than anything else. So in trying to lay a better foundation for Alajin's redemption, this just makes Matakara sadder. Baby, have some standards. Sometimes our childhood heroes are shitheads. You gotta move on. If Alajin does come out a hero in this gang war, it's gonna be by accident. Don't fall for him. Graduate high school, found a martial arts for wayward youth org or something, find a guy who'll treat you right.
I don't like being angry at this show because there is so much potential here. I want to like this story, see where they're going with this Arabian Nights theme, want to watch dumb boys who love each other grow up into better men. But we are almost half-way through this season, and all the beautiful animation, creativity, and homoerotic subtext -- even if it becomes TEXT -- is casting pearls before this swine of a protagonist.

| Matakara is delusional about Ara's true natue and who he really was, and to top it all off, this conflict in this story is only happening because a guy used a baton in a fight. Wtf is this anime lol. The background characters in this anime are more likeable than all of the main cast. |

| I don't get why Arajin is feeling so bad about running away from his childhood friend and not helping him when he was getting beat up by high schoolers when they were children and how "the trauma" still affects him to this day and yet... he will leave that same friend tied up in a dark room for some pus that he ain't ever gonna get. |

| I really expected by ep 5 we'd have had some sort of character development for the MC. Instead, we just keep getting running gags about him wanting to lose his virginity, almost shitting himself, and some dude goin' to a brothel smh. |
