| The more I watch Sein in this show, the more I find his character likable even though he was just recently introduced. Stark and Fern had an argument for a silly reason. Seeing Fern, Sein, and Stark in the same party is kinda wholesome though. Frieren was also on her own little adventure making discoveries as usual. |

| At the end of the day, both Fern and Stark are kids after all. Can’t blame Fern acting all grumpy there with Stark and quite literally leading him to leave lol, when he forgot to gift her something on her birthday. Though I liked the role Sein played here, that understanding and mature adult who knew right away when to jump in and speak whatever was required. One reason Fern accepted her mistake and in turn, decided to let Stark off the hook, was because of Sein, who she sees the way she does because of him being a fellow priest as well, like Heiter used to be. Frieren’s reasoning was on point… she’s there to look over the adults, after they had done their job of looking over the kids:) I always like how tension and fear is something we’d never see Frieren dealing with.. I mean, a flying monster suddenly took their carriage up in the sky, the kind who is infamous for killing people by dropping them from a height, and still she just went with her logic and everything, leaving the result to the almighty lol. Of course nothing happened, but still lol. As for the present Stark gifted Fern, it was kind of a given he messed up a bit… not with the quality but his choice of picking a bracelet which does symbolise eternal love lol. He didn’t know that, of course.. so an innocent mistake. Fern didn’t mind much either:) Also, again the story of Himmel gifting something similar to Frieren was… … what could someone say. Can't help but feel the timing of this episode was kind of really ideal with the latest chapter which came out. |

| Fern and Stark were just meant to be. Watching Fern get a little mad was actually pretty cute. After the priest Sein joins the party and they visit the Rad region, Fern and Stark get into a disagreement when Fern becomes upset that Stark didn't get her a birthday present. With Sein's guidance, the two eventually reconcile and decide to shop for a gift for Fern together. In the midst of this, Frieren reaches out to Seinthat Fern likely sought his guidance because of his resemblance to Heiter, whom Sein views as an ideal adult, in contrast to himself. I really like how Frieren often acts like a child, but having someone more mature like Sein (despite his flaws) adds a nice touch. It feels like exactly what Fern needs, especially since she sees a bit of Heiter in Sein. Even though he has this absolute view, saying there was no meaning behind the gift almost makes it sound like it wasn't given out of love, which is definitely not true. It's also heartening to see Frieren slowly realizing how much love she has received. And, of course, typical Frieren, she's a bit slow on the uptake as well. |

| Frieren's nonchalant behaviour when something bad happens never fails to disappoint the way the dealt with that bird was nice. A but more history and jewelry with a deeper meaning also added a lot to this episode. Also poor Stark |

| That was so wholesome and perfect. I thought Frieren would give that ring to Fern as a present, but she decided to keep it in the end. It's one of her treasured memories of Himmel. |
| Legit thought Frieren mistook a grenade pin for her ring when the cart exploded lmao For a world full of mages, Himmel making Frieren a wordless marriage proposal without her ever realizing it is up there for one of the most magical moments of the show. And then you have Stark almost topping that by not realizing it himself. Also, love that Eisen has the same dead serious look in his eyes while casually falling headfirst from a cliff. |

| Their adventure continues. Fern pout face is cute. Seems that Stark and Fern had already made up after such chaos with the birthday present, can't lie though it's definitely something one should remember, especially to the ones they're closed to. Ah yes Sein prefers old ladies, a fact that we already need to know, missed opportunity smh but Frieren definitely belongs to Himmel in heart. Goes another chaos with the carriage but was resolved as soon as possible. Seems that a no dialogue goes to focus on reconstructing some of the broken parts. The ring scene was animated beautifully. |

| A very light but wholesome episode as a whole, especially with how beautiful that scene was at the end with Himmel and Frieren with the ring. It was very simple and brief, but the charm was quite there. Felt almost poetic watching that, especially with how lovely the music choice was to accompany that. She wanted to give the ring to Fern at first but in the end, it is for the best that she kept the ring as it is one of her precious memories that she had with Himmel. She does have others, but this was a gift that she chose and he got for her in particular in their own private moment so might as well treasure that still. Also Sein was really good in this episode too and is integrating with the party quite well, being kind of the big brother for Fern and Stark and helping them make amends. I can imagine for people that still do the romance shipping thing, they got quite their fill with the episode today. |

| Good ep. Stark looking at his silver bracelet while thinking about the gift foreshadowed him buying a silver looking bracelet for Fern. Which ended up having the same markings as the ring that Frieren had. Such a heartwarming flashback, Himmel obviously knew what it meant from the reaction and he knows a lot about flowers (ep 2) The praise scene on the roof was also nice, but am I read it as a death flag? Since it's mirroring a scene at the end of Heiter's life while talking about afterlife. I'm probably reading too much into this one While Sein was acting as an old Heiter, Stark was acting as a young Himmel |

| I want a body like Eisen's. Run over water, survive a freefall from any height(even is just as hyperbole). Sounds nice. I don't know if Frieren is just downplaying the whole lotus ring meaning, or just realizing what was going on. Frieren is Frieren. |

| Love how the scenes from the past and the present parallel each other in such profound, meaningful ways, but the biggest highlight aside from the steadily blooming relationship of Fern and Stark....HAS to be the scene with Himmel and Frieren with the former putting the mirrored lotus ring on the latter's finger. This series is just too fucking beautiful, man. |

| “People won’t know how you feel unless you tell them.” Fern’s pout faces are adorable, the angry ones are somehow even more adorable. The short scuffle between Fern and Stark feels so authentic and genuine, Stark is a growing boy even if he recently turned 18 so it’s only natural that he’s nervous and a little sensitive around Fern. It does make for a very sweet moment for the two of them being straightforward with their feelings. Speaking of which, what Sein said earlier with Fern (or in the quote above) feels so rich and beautiful in its own right. A quick flashback with the chemistry between Heiter and Frieren, going back to a previous sentiment regarding praise and this episodes message of emotion and clearness as well. Little notes of world-building and how adaptable humanity is, with the introduction of Avian monsters and how quick humanity was able to use flight magic though it is essentially a copy. Mirrored Lotus representing “eternal love”… *looks at the bracelet Stark got for Fern* hmmm.. That subtle proposal scene with Frieren and Himmel brought tears in my eyes honestly, with the symbolic meaning of the mirrored lotus and the beautiful scenery and soundtrack. So beautiful and touching. This is something I needed today, a beautiful yet sweet episode of Frieren Friday. Such a good episode, have a great one today :] |

| That was a sweet episode. Fern and Stark are starting to grow closer even if Stark is a bit innocent or slow on the uptake. Meanwhile, Frieren realized such a while later that Himmel really did love her. Sein, despite appearances, truly is the wisest one there in that regard. |

| Fern is big mad cos Stark forgot about her birthday. Good thing they quickly reconciled thanks to Sein. Man, why is the animation of this anime so good? Even for "slow" episodes like this one the animators go all-out. It's amazing. Frieren almost lost the ring Himmel gave her. Good thing the merchant she was traveling with conveniently had a spell that can find lost accessories. |
