Val is the hero this show deserves.

It looks like Pride has a hard time using her own powers to fight the good fight. It's episodes like this where she has to think outside the box to solve problems. Pretty cruel drama this episode took. I'm surprised this anime is taking a slight darker turn but there's only one episode left. Curious this will show will conclude.

Kemec possesses an extraordinary skill. Sefec is a kind-hearted individual who looks out for the smaller ones. It warms my heart to know that Val was a part of their lives. Witnessing how the three of them united to create their own "family" was truly heartwarming. I was anxious when Val took that fall off the cliff, but I'm relieved Pride was there to rescue him.

It appears the antagonist managed to escape this week. I'm left wondering about the entirety of their scheme. What is their ultimate goal? What are they pursuing? I'm now anticipating next week's finale.

Kemet and Sefec aren't quite together, so that presents a problem for Val trying to save him. But with the possibility of the cave breaking, Pride and the rest are escorted out, though inititally both Pride ad Arthur would come back and convince Val to do his magic, which after the order, unleashes the full potential of his special ability, aided by Sefec who can boost another's special ability.

But to think that he will sacrifice his life for children living in the slums who followed him dearly while under Pride's fealty contract, that's how Val encountered Sefec and Kemet their ages, teaching them the way of life and treasuring them like his own. That's where he got caught by the child traffickers who promised the two kids back if he did their bidding, as much as he wants to retaliate back that he's held back by the very same fealty contract.

Val certainly was awaiting death, but thanks to Pride and Stale, he got a second shot in life. You're a real hero, Val.

Oh, look like the new villain doesn't even have a voice actor yet. That means he's an important character that can't just be voiced by anyone, but the studio is not sure if there will be a sequel or not.

Lastame Thursdays! Just one more left :/

Being able to amplify magical abilities is a really cool introduction to the series and makes Kermet really important to the story. The irony of someone that powerful being dumped in a literal trash heap and abandoned. A literal diamond in the rough. Imagine how powerful Gil, Arthur or Stale’s abilities could be with his touch. Crazy stuff. That scene of them earth bending out of the cave was really cool lol.

I was hoping we’d get more info on “the order” as the episode title hints, but other than their cloaking ability and the voiceless other dude we didn’t get much. This was more of a Val and the kids backstory than anything.

Their backstory was as sad as you’d expect. Not even having names :/. Nice seeing how close they grew to Val over those 3 months, but as I was watching I couldn’t help but ask “is nobody gonna buy these kids some clothes?” Val had them with him for a while and started giving them some food but damn get these babies some new clothes man lol.

Ironic that Pride’s order is kind of the reason they got taken in the first place. If Val could’ve fought back things may have gone different, but then again it all worked out in the end because they saved more kids and Pride still jumped in after Val to save him. Which was really heroic btw. She’s never content just passively watching things play out, always wants to do her duty and protect even the least of her subjects and I love that.

One more episode 😩 can’t wait to see how they wrap it up. Then it’s onto the LNs. Would love a second season especially since the story is only really now starting

Next week pv is spicy. Val you lucky mf

Stale’s power is truly powerful, able to teleport everywhere anywhere, knowledges and memories probably it’s few restrictions.

Next week gonna be meme worthy.

See I told you guys. The fealty contract was worse than the death option. He can't protect himself or his loved ones. Now, to all those who supported Pride, I say, this MC is TRASH!! He could have worked normally and the boss could just say I ain't paying and he could have done nothing. Pride is Trash! Anime is boring as helI and the ones with Pride are also Trash!

@RenTaichi You are making the assumption he could of taken on several people when one of them had already instantly chained him and crushed him, along with the others who may of had powers or not. I have to disagree with your analysis of the situation

More background story for Val's childhood!
This is such a tragic and bittersweet episode.
After watching his background story, he has become more of a main character than a supporting one. ^✓^

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see Tiara in this episode.

Anyway, the way they animated Val's background story looks surreal enough to me. It doesn't feel like a forced or insincere episode from Val's perspective, however, they reduced the effort to make the background characters or sideline characters bad.
i.e. While Pride is looking at Val and the two, her image is that of a still statue.

Overall, I enjoyed most of the moments, especially the background story for Val and co.

"He"?, you're implying that this hooded character is a guy when it isn't even revealed yet. Looks like a spoiler to me...

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

That moment of them sharing their "names" and then Kemet all excited saying that this name was "little brother" broke my heart.

Pride truly taught Stale well, when he woke up instantly when Pride whistled to him. It's a relief in the end everything turned out well, though!

So we didn’t get much info on who the air balloon riding villains are but we did get a glimpse of them, a dastardly bunch for sure and I’m betting next episode we learn more about them and at the same time get baited to buy the LN lol. And some interesting revelations about Val and his kiddies in this one, so Kemec can make anyone’s special ability into a more powerful version which is that we saw with Val surfing using rocks lol, definitely an OP ability and I’m sure if any villains caught wind of that power Kemec would have a target on his head.

And even tho we already had the gist of how Val met the kids, we got to see how it happened in full complete with how they got kidnapped, and damn it’s pretty interesting seeing something the Pride we know did ended up indirectly being kinda evil, of course she saved the kids now but that’s definitely a bad look for her. And I’m ngl, I thought the way they saved Val from his falling death was kinda dumb but I’m glad he’s safe anyway lol, and with one episode left, I wonder how they plan to end this.

Touching episode for Val, Kemet and Sefec
That was fortunate that Stale can wake up like that.

Well, just one more episode to go. Can't believe this is already ending but I guess it really has just little content.

Looks like when this season is concluded, we will have to rely either on the source LN or the recently resumed manga adaptation for further developments of the story.

That fealty contract is a real bitch. Val couldnt do shit even though he had good intentions. So the phrasing of commands has to be extremely specific to allow for certain exceptions etc. but no one could predict all that.

Wait hold up. What would happen if Kemet and Pride touched? Would she be able to see the future or does only the villainess Pride have any actual ability and this Pride is solely just having nightmares of the game?

I didnt expect the whole Val family thing would be milked more but damnit it worked on me, made me cry more. They didnt even have names and Val just grew to enjoy them being around.

Damnit i knew Pride would jump after Val. Seemed too predictable there but I didnt figure the part of the landing. So uh when Stale teleports someone does that mean he cancels out velocity? Otherwise he and Pride and Val would go splat anyway.

I'm interested to see where it goes from here, the younger kid's ability could be very useful so it might be in Pride's best interest to find some way to provide for the three and let them be a family safely since Val can't fight for them if they go back to where they were living.

I figured we'd see Val again because she left him without the ability to protect himself. I never guessed it would be with children in tow. Hopefully, she amends his fealty contract so that he can protect himself and those he holds dear. I can see him as an undercover spy that answers to Gilbert.

What a good dog our boy Stale is. One whistle and he teleports to his big sister, who had gone bungee jumping without a rope.
Well only one episode left, let's hope the season gets a relativly satisfying ending, so the anime doesn't turn out as a pure novel promotion.

Since when Stale could appear just from one whistle, even if he was out of capacity at the time? This looked ridiculous.

For some reason I skipped this episode last week and what an episode lptm, when Pride ordered Val to control the entire cave and Val did it, I thought it was because of the order and that he was doing it by force as if he woke up even more his power, thinking that it was very broken, more than it already is, it is a pity that it was not like that.

And then because of the loyalty contract that he made him have, he was unable to save Kemet and Sefec in due time, there I thought that in Val's eyes, Pride was the devil himself by forcing him to watch as his "family" was taken away. by the contract.

Gotta catch up, been busy for the past 3 weeks that I haven't watch any anime OOF.

.

Anyways... this episode pretty much confirmed what I said in earlier episode. MC-Pride does not have her actual "OG-Pride"s precognition power as she said "If this was a in-game event, I would have known", meaning she never saw this event, which she would have if she had OG-Pride's power.

.

Interesting ability that kid has tho... kid could literally turn any other special users into super humans...

.

And more new villains appears... huh...

Interesting power from Kemet and finally a heart-touching story about Val... Hope Him and the two kids become part of Pride's superhuman empire to kick-arse some real villains (esp. those cowards in the invisi-hot balloon).

It almost seemed fate was against them with how many close calls Val and the kids had this episode! That contract of allegiance turned out to be quite the device. Without it, Val would of lashed out and Sefekh and Khemet would never have gotten to be so close with Val. But it also prevented him from defending them. It worked out for the best though.

Val is the best written character in this entire show. It's actually impressive how well written he is and then you got the rest LOL.
Still, Stale was always available. They just needed to heal him. All of the problems would have resolved if Arthur just healed him from the start

@RenTaichi Considering she GAVE him the option of execution or fealty contract; he chose fealty contract. She isn't at the wrong here. Only regretted it when the kids got kidnapped. Besides that she gave him the order to turn to her if he ever needed help which she did indeed go help.
