| Welp, this show does offer combat and action after all. While the first episode was relatively calm, this one involved elements of fighting and introduced more characters. Even Lammis got excited although I wish we could see more of her skills. Also...director Bear, what's his deal? Lol, I was not expecting a character like him to be in this show. |

| The OP is crazy catchy, as expected of BRADIO. A bear, the Director of the Hunters Assocation appears in front of Boxxo, appears in front of it and Lammis for a request to fight against frog fiends, though Boxxo is just there for nutrition purposes to help stock up as replenishment, giving everyone cup noodles as an upgrade for fighting the cold. As to be expected, Lammis joins the fight, and Boxxo is for support, while the other adventurers are strong in their own right. But it's clear that they need a strategy against the frog fiend dens, and Boxxo can only provide protection as much as his points would allow. And as much as Captain Kerioyl and vice-captain Filmina of the Menagerie of Fools adventurer group attempt to stay alive, this is an endurance fight while they await the king frog's arrival. Lammis tries her best to get away from the king frog, and of all things, Boxxo chooses cola with candy to defeat it, but to tell Lammis that's the strategy with its limited speech, and with a hint, Lammis gets the tactic, and everyone works to take it down. A good attempt at making Isekai feel different, though it just looks the same. |

| And there we go, we're right back to the generic isekai elements that feel very old, as the novelty is starting to wear off already. That said, that last scene with the cola and mentos was quite amusing. |

| A more action oriented episode after last week’s chill dialogue heavy one. Got a chance to see the benefits that Boxxo can have in combat, meet some new characters and as expected it was all well written. To make a premise this insane work it has to be written well. Did not expect to see the old mythbusters Coke and mentos trick in an isekai anime but that was a cool way to take out the monsters lol. |

| I had zero expectations for a vending machine isekai. I was let down. I needed to have Coke Zero expectations. |
| I always knew coke and mentos would save lives one day lol, but really that was a great sequence of events, very funny stuff too. It’s stuff like this I’m hoping is very prominent in the show, I need this man being a vending machine to be relevant often lol. I was also wondering how Boxxo would defend himself if someone were to try and steal from him and we witnessed that as well, but as of rn it’s only to a certain extent because he still needed Lammis’ help, makes me wonder if there’s things he can upgrade to prevent that. And the new characters we met this episode were cool too, they also had an interesting name “Menagerie of Fools” lol. I was especially a fan of Filmina’s design, she kinda stood out and done some cool stuff too. And we also got the OP and ED this episode, like them both a lot but that OP is very catchy. |
| Keeps getting better. I'm also feeling a bit sus about the head of the mercenaries. Love that boss battle. I was at an event where one of the performances was from a touring group who do the bottle thing. Its amazing how much shit they can spray out. Even more impressive when they have a hundred bottles lined up and making fountain style displays! |

| Using vending machine food to defeat monsters from another world. Another alternative title for a show like this. I enjoyed this episode, its one of those few isekais that gives me exactly what the title is. Boxxo isn't totally overpowered, the dude still had to think on his feet (or lack of) and plan out an attack. Even then its up to Lammis to figure out what he's talking about it. |

| I can't help but feel like complaining to the ample time they had to come up with a solution involving coke and mentos. However, considering it's a show centered around a person's reincarnation as a vending machine, it's not meant to be taken too seriously. Gotta give it to Boxxo, that was some quick thinking. I'm glad they're sticking with the premise of him being a vending machine and not going overboard with power progression. The way a lot of these types of Isekai with this type of premises go, I was expecting him to have a humanoid form and bets the most overpowered person in the verse by episode 2. Nevertheless, I find great delight in the interactions among the characters, and Boxxo's amusing internal musings about each of them add to the enjoyment. |

| Back in the day, the comedic notion of vanquishing a monster by fashioning a weapon of mass destruction from the fusion of Mentos and Coke might have elicited a giggle from me. However, this time around, possibly due to the uninspired portrayal, it failed to evoke any emotional response. The whole episode was no more, than a ‘meh’. I don’t mean to sound overly critical, but the current state of the series falls short of being truly humorous to qualify as an entertaining comedy. Additionally, the abundance of still frames in the fight scenes diminishes its potential to become a captivating action series. Not too promising, but I guess we’ll find out. |
