Ah more beastment in this show. I wonder if they have some sort of inflence in other parts of this world.

What I didn't expect to see is a dragon showing up...not everyday you see one of those coming to a village. Hiraku sure is busy around again and seems like no time for rest.

The dragons and demons are here tho they weren't hostile at all while that wasn't that surprising with the nature of this anime.
And the got more girls this time, the new men the got where a but younger than expected.
The village is also able to set up trade now which is also a good thing.

Another sweet episode!

New characters introduced, and a whole lot of wholesome scenes (still PG13 tho 😏).

It's time for them, the village, especially Hiraku, to experience trading or bartering with other places... Nice...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

New episode = more new girls for Hiraku the village.
They established a trading agreement with the Howling village. That was a great move for them.

Dryme pulling a Milim on them, but with less destruction. Finally got confirmation that everyone in the village is cracked to the point of making demon generals quit on the spot lol. Lu and the others probably should have given Hiraku a diplomacy crash course after declaring him mayor though

Looks like Lu and Tia are way more famous and powerful than I thought, Zabuton too. The dragon king seems like a fun fellow. I wonder when dragon girls will start living in the village. The village got more people, catgirls this time and they are cute.

Why would an isolated mining community of 100 send 20 young females to live in another location? Didn't they just consign their own village to die out? DIdn't any of those beastguys who came on the first trip like the food, wine and dozens of single women?

Is the dragon going to carry them everytime they go on a trade mission?

This show's all over the place, that's why. There's way more problems too, like for example why on earth would they have so much mining and crafts if they're in isolation and hiding - that's pretty much useless for them without trade, and i doubt they traded with anyone... Why in such a small village they'd send THAT many people to test the waters, if things went south they'd lose like 10% of the population, worst than that, young male population that was historically more valued for work... Speaking of that, that's why it actually DOES make sense they'd send off the women and children, especially if they're a poor place (less mouths to feed while still giving them a decent shot at a place with good conditions). What also did NOT make ANY sense however is how they based taxation rates off modern Japan, stating 10% is a great deal when they're supposed to pay 50-60%.

"It's a village made up of five small settlements of about 100 people or so,..." implies around 500 people (100 per settlement).

As to why mostly young females, perhaps they are "surplus" population. In in a less technologically advanced society based on mining, I could see men being regarded as more "valuable".

That may have been the same reason they sent young boys rather than men. It may have also been that they saw one guy, a lot of women, and no children, and thought, "Oh, so that's what he's into". :)

A message from the Demonic Kingdom of representative Beezel to discuss about the settlement of his plot to pay taxes, and though the reply comes as a surprise of 10% of their total harvest which only have explicit ingredients, it's more than enough for a clause of protection and legality of them staying in the Great Tree Village. Having the greats all in one village, basically scares the Demon Lord's Four Generals, and they would have no choice but to submit either way if they want to avoid having a conflict with Machio's village of strong monsters and beastwomen. And soon thereafter, dragons like Dryme come for a visitation of formal greeting since they're neighbors within the same land. Diplomatic relations are going to be a problem if they're not resolved, but there is a limit on how they should be welcomed into the village as well, especially if they come in large groups.

And so, a guest house and hospitalities changed to suit visitors, and as expected, more people come along to handle different visitors, though how that is fared between all is up to their discretion. Tia and Lu are doing a good job keeping all on tabs, like the representative Garf's beastmen from Howling Village looking for new ventures to invest their trade for capitalism: their mining and metal ware for food. Plus, extra people to live in the village that's in desperate need of males.

Machio's village is growing...except in men, trusting in the young for future generations...welp.

Another fabulous episode in the books, it is such a pleasure to see this one come to life. The story keeps moving forward at a steady, chill, pace while maintaining an extraordinarily family-friendly tone.

This will be a fun one to binge once complete and if they continue with this quality (or above) it should be an exceptional SOL/fantasy.

I think it's funny how the Demon Lord's staff just want to bail, like "fuck this, I"m out." I can see the season wrapping well with classic balance and resolution.

Regarding the young boys comment, that did cross my mind in that they maybe thought that's what he's into lol.

This was the funniest episode yet for me, especially with the reaction of the demon lord generals after the visit, and also the dragon that loves drinking wine. It kind of sucks that Hiraku hasn't gotten Lu (or Tia or anyone of the other 100 or so females) pregnant (I doubt they have birth control). But at least the show is still enjoyable to watch.

I can explain from the light novel. Though some of these can be pretty spoiler-y for future story and development,
so read with your own discretion:

The anime so far is kinda accurate to some degree, but they also cut out some of the explanation that was integral to the story.
The series (the manga and especially the LN) is actually a slow burn slice of life that meticulously detailed tons of stuff, thus why I felt like the anime is a bit rushed in pacing.

Oh yeah, as a side note:
The end scene for today's episode implied that the High Elf girls were interested with the shota beastboy.

I feel like they are kinda trying to downplay the whole harem and nightly activities part of the novel, which is very sad. In the novel not only is it a core part of the story, the way they handle it is also very well done, with there never being and explicit content, but also it is acknowledged that it happens and is not shying away from the topic, like the anime is.

Also a little spoiler:

Despite a lot going on this episode for once it didn't feel as rushed. Glad they gave one of the ogre maids a little personality, Ann dialing down the hospitality was pretty funny. It's nice seeing a little bit more interactions with outsiders, especially when it helps put into perspective how ridiculous Hiraku's village is in terms of power.

Because the anime is skipping all sexual stuff.

All girls in the Great Tree Village wants is the best seed. That's Machio's seed. He is strong, he is able to provide for them, etc

The beastmen sending 20 women there would help to establish a more secure relation with them. And also would help to make stronger beastman.

I feel like this episode had some of the best pacing in the last few weeks, it was mostly about forming relations and how to treat visitors to their village which I enjoyed, I also really like the addition of Dryme and his escort/servant, in a show with a copious amount of female characters I’m happy to see a male character lol, and he’s a funny lad too. It’s also refreshing to have a dragon that doesn’t become a waifu for once lol.

I also liked the bit where Machio was the only one who wanted to be nice to the beast person visitors, I get the girls were being cautious and just returning the treatment they got when they first visited but once all the misunderstandings were cleared they were definitely being too harsh lol. And now we have beast girls and 3 shotas in the village, those elf girls were looking pretty sus there lol, I know Machio isn’t smashing the entire village in the anime but you gotta calm down girls lol.

We got a couple more visitors this episode in being Besel one of the 4 great demon lord generals, the dragon Doraimu and his servant Gucci and also we see some beastmen from the howling village.

Firstly Besel, ngl Hiraku has the demon lord generals on his fingers lol. Like them describing how strong everyone was in the village from Lulucy to the Wolves to Zabuton (Who is quite powerful), no wonder they were scared and that dude Landan is going to resign a lot in this anime. They end up with a agreement that was actually really good for Hiraku. The tax was so low and now they have the Demon lord armies protection (even tho they can probably beat their army in a war).

We then see Doraimu and Gucci who want to establish friendly relations with the village. Giving them a sword for a gift, Doraimu gets carried away with himself and indulges in the food and wine presented. With him on their side the great tree village is looking immense.

Finally the Beastmen who are also looking to establish trade relations, an agreement is made for howling village to trade Paints, silverware, glassware etc. Which Hiraku is very excited about and in return they get some food, like fruit and veges. The Howling village also sends about 20 villagers to live in the great tree village now with of course most of them being young women, Hiraku did ask for some young males but in return he got males who were a bit to young..... Those boys are gonna get busy with those high elves when the grow up lol.

The Harem farm... I MEAN THE Great Tree Village expands again and with good relations establish with all the neighbours, what will happen with Hiraku next episode??

Looks like the surrounding town and the 'owner' of the land manage to get a good contact with the central tree village. The next one shall be from the human kingdom envoy, right? But hoo-boy, can't get old with the resignation joke coming from the demon and how the old man dragon enjoyed his newly found place to chill. But make those three innocent boys become the subject of the jokes seems a little bit too much, especially since i read its not even the true plot of the source material which make my judgement clear its nothing more than the archetype joke for shoutacon fanbase. So, if i can be honest here, good job making the episode more wild and wild, you Isekai Nonbiri...

Thanks for the heads up, I also don't like how they're hiding it and it's not like it has to be explicit. It is hard to believe that Hiraku would not have at least slept with his wife and not have had at least one kid by now especially with him saying that the village needs men to survive (which that itself implies they need to reproduce). I may read the manga after this is done, hopefully it follows the light novel better, and I hope that the anime addresses it before its over.
