Growing up i've never even thought anime was a thing, i just looked at them like cartoons or whatever.
It wasn't until my freshman year of HS that i couldn't find anything to watch and then i remembered watching Toonami when i was a kid and watching one piece mostly because i loved the opening and the show was pretty good but i didn't remember it all too much, so i played the first episode and that's when i fell in love with the series. The location where i watched said it was anime and i was like hmmm, i love this series and if its the same category as One Piece ill give it a try. I then saw Naruto and watching when i was 7 and i immediately started watching that and i became immeresed in that as well. Then it was Dragon Ball, after that it was all over, i started trying all types of Anime and now I'm glad i put on that One Piece episode because i had no idea how much of an Emotional Journey a foreign cartoon genre can be. So if you like Anime like i do i recommend checking out my list because, me personally, among my stuff i rated 9 or 10, each show i hope will captivate you as much as they did me. ENJOY!!
