The Phantom Troupe was born, the mystery behind Sheila and the Kurta massacre is still covert. |

I am a bit disappointed we never really got fully back into the actual story of HxH. 3 chapters won't be enough. Some Hisoka is chilling and then even asked to have himself removed from any conflict. Phantom Troupe going round aimlessly no conflict. We didn't see any progress on the princes either. |

| Well done by Togashi, this unexpected flashback is great, I hope next chapter we'll see the other side to the Kurta massacre that he teased awhile back. | This chapter explain why Chrollo is the most terrifying out of them. There's still plenty more things to learn about Meteor City, so let's hope this isn't the only flashback for it. maybe more events will be tied later with the Kurta Massacre. |
| 4/5 We knew this was coming. Something awful was bound to happen because of what the last 2 chapters had set up and it wasn't easier reading this chapter fully knowing what was about to transpire Troupe members realize that Sarasa had been missing and searched everywhere for her in the city but to no avail. Chrollo tries to post-pone their performance for the search but seeing all the other kids wanting to help him breaks him because he's too smart for himself. He can already make out what had happened and I just loved his expressions this chapter The troupe finally get to this unnerving forest where eventually they come upon a hanging bag with a note on a huge tree. Chrollo's expression in that panel tells the readers everything. Togashi still managed to portray the dread in a very authentic way even though we readers might've known what's to come. They lower it and confirm what they had been dreading. It's Sarasa's chopped up body left with a note which probably described what was done to her in details. Uvo asks Chrollo to translate the note which he doesn't. You can only imagine what was written in that note. Everybody starts bawling especially Paku who seemed very close with her They take her body back to Meteor city and it is embalmed by this lady Renko. Maki is very interested in her powers and inquires about Nen. Her powers are to assimilate people back so it can be speculated that this particular incident inspired her nen abilities, not only hers, I think each & every original troupe members. Chrollo then declares that it is his life duty to string these murderers out via slowly luring them to their web. You can also say that the troupe got their violent tendencies from all those tapes they must've watched to identify the killers. Especially Feitan and his torture techniques. Chrollo then finally reveals his true motivation behind forming the troupe, to never let meteor city get overran and destroyed by the mafia again which they succeeded in doing by getting more violent themselves. This was trivial but a fantastic reveal nonetheless. Sheila is seen leaving the troupe after they had supposedly turned evil but we still need a closure with her character and her role in the Kurta massacre and speaking off which I can't help but notice the various parallels between Chrollo & Kurapika after this chapter. Tserri can still be related to this particular incident and it would be great if Togashi tied it back to the current story but we'll have to see. The chapter ended with troupe members after 3 years. Don't know if we're gonna get one more chapters to fill in more blanks but id be content if it ended here |

| I think the flashback is over. It seems we went full circle with that reunion flashback scene we saw back in Yorknew. Ofc, Sarasa had to die in such a brutal way. Togashi never holds up on that stuff. At least her body was restored instead of seeing "what" she looked like in that bag... Kinda disappointed though that we will probably not get anything regarding the Kurta clan massacre. Most likely we will have only three chapters left and need to see more of the succession war too which has been tossed aside for the mafia war's buildup. |

I am calling it now, chapter 400 is Hisoka surprise appearance, kills off a spider or two. Maybe the deaths are ambiguous and then we enter another hiatus. This manga might end up like Miura's Berserk. |

| Damn dude, an expected dark turn. Enjoyable chapter. Interesting to see how the Troupe slowly gets stronger and learns Nen abilities, particularly Machi. "I will not forgive those killers for as long as I live" feels weird coming from Chrollo. He then proceeds to brutally murder an innocent Kurta clan... The cycle of hatred continues! Shoutout to Naruto lol. Is that timeskip at the end really only 3 years?? They've grown SO much. Look at Machi. |

| Best chapter in a while, beautiful stuff here. I hope people don’t see this is an attempt at redemption for the Phantom Troupe. It’s something more. Thank you for giving us this as I didn’t know I needed it, Togashi. |

| WHAT A STRONG CHAPTER First, they show us the death of Chrollo's friend, all decapitated in all her parts of her body, which leaves Chrollo traumatized, plus the note that leaves him in a worse state. The reconstruction that that girl did to the body of the dead girl is incredible and from what I see Machi can see her aura and wants to learn her techniques, I can probably see that girl's aura thanks to her beautiful eyes or I don't know how, and so on. It's how we learned how Machi learned his techniques (let's assume this) and the icing on the cake was the disturbed Chrollo saying that he doesn't mind killing lives as long as he is a feared person and the guys who killed her friend don't come near meteor city honestly this chapter has been the best of the Gen'ei Ryodan so far I love you Huter x Hunter I love you Yoshihiro Togashi |

| Interesting chapter again. We're a step closer to finding out how this relates to the Kakin Mafia. The Troupe was started with honest good intentions, so I really am questioning whether or not the Kurta Clan massacre was really perpetrated by them fully.. |

| We all knew what would become of Sarasa but it was still a sad thing to see. Such a shame that this terrible environment turned an innocent group of kids into a group of killers. This backstory on the Troupe has been great. |

| That was brutal. It still doesn't explain why the spiders became evil and started killing innocent people like Kurapika's clan for example, imo. I hope the flashback isn't over and we get to see the spiders taking care of the guys who killed Sarasa. |
| Aha, so the spider in the troupe refers to them spinning a web for the criminals who killed Sarasa. Now it seems they have become "the very thing they set out to destroy", which while true, does not necessarily mean they have given up on finding those criminals. At least that's what I think. Or maybe they found those guys.... |

| How is this series always this good? Not a single bad arc and still going strong. My liking of chrollo just increased tenfold after this. Also, it took all of my willpower to read this :c. Seeing the troupe so innocent and happy last chapter really made me struggle to start with this one. Finally, we just saw the famous tree picture which togashi posted. Holy fuck. |

| Sarasa didn't deserve that.. I mean no one does but of course those killers, and that in itself triggered troupe to be the face of evil they are now.. though not much different from the bunch they once resented. Wonderful backstory but I hope there's more to that. |

| And this is precisely why Chrollo was and is my fav character of the story. And i am sure there is more to the story. And there is definitely something related to the kurta clan which we are unaware of because they simply aren't just a band of mindless murders from what was shown. |

| INTENSE! meaningful, strange fates. chrollo gets fuckin philo blah blah... 3/4. Not getting a 5 because I still think this chapter came out late, way late and interrupts THE ACTUAL FUCKING ARC! which is huge to just stop and reminisce... I like better the handling of kurapika’s past which was released individually. plus... no shizuku or bonolenov around the picture. I know Illumi was the late member of but DAYUM! ALSO SHEILA 👀 just realized after re reading that she's the same one that appeared in kurapika’s village with that fuckin book, now I wonder... would she reappear?! |
