Mob in those gym clothes lol

Looks like Tsubomi is going to another school so alot of guys wanted to show their feelings to her. Without the usual weird supernatural elements, this one felt like a normal school episode but...that ending, holy shit.

Looks like Tsubomi is going to another school for studies and before that Mob wants to convey his feelings to her and for that he's looking for advice from all the people he knows. Mob is so sweet. I'm glad that he's being a little more confident in himself but always so shy around her and he's not the only one who's after Tsubomi-chan He's got a lot of competition. LOL.

But... what was the actual fricking cliffhanger. Please... don't do this... man. Mob is such a sweet child.

The over abundance of people like Mob who spend their entire day fretting over what they'd say to the person they've feelings for, get the short end of the stick more often than not. As something like first come first served exists. Thus no surprise the news of Tsubomi transferring schools hit him as nothing less than a nuke straight from heaven.

Though whom to ask for confession advice? Haha surely not from his noob friends. But hey it doesn’t matter anyways to Mob, he has made up his mind. Walking with his chin up, carrying a bouquet in one hand.. So what could go wrong? EVERYTHING, as that ending cliffhanger ensured.

Now this episode made us realize all over again, this indeed is the final season.

Ok, I feel a few GTA references were used in this episode.

But this episode was such a cock tease. Gotta wait for that 1 whole week man!!
Although I know what is gonna happen, it's still frustrating to wait for 1 week

This episode felt like a normal SOL episode. Tsubomi transferring school was a big surprise for Mob. It was pretty obvious Mob would have an accident or something when the black cat crossed him.
From the preview it looks like Mob will go bersek, Destroy a lot of stuff and fight Hanazwa. Can't wait for the big fights next few episodes.

I feel like MAL should have coming of age tag.
Body improvement club is the best!
I still don't know why Mob like Tsubomi, may be it's just because of her physical appearance just like Reigen said. Since Mob is the symbol of "inner beauty", he want to pair with "outer beauty" like yin-yang.

And so it begins, the final arc.
I love how wholesome 95% of this episode is, seeing everyone Mob has met along the way trying to help him, seeing how much he has grown since the beginning of the series, and how people around him changed because of him.
Even being just a slice of life episode with nothing really special in regards to the animation, this is probably my favorite episode so far.

kinda wish the final trailer didn't spoil this moment because then it'd be even more of a shock when it happened but it was still surprising to see it occur in real time nonetheless.
the final arc focusing on mob's feelings for tsubomi seems pretty fitting, since that is essentially the original driving force that kickstarted the events of the series. as usual, things go horribly wrong for mob, wish he'd catch a break for once ๐Ÿ˜”

This episode should have been episode 1, with only 4 episodes for the whole season.

The previous 8 were not to the standard of the last 2 seasons in terms of writing, story arc (broccoli, really?), comedy, character development or action. But this one was.

it showed mob getting hit by the car in the trailer a week before the season aired which kinda ruined the surprise factor. it made for a really hype trailer but it spoiled like 80% of the season lol

nah it would have been terrible if this were episode 1. this arc only works as well as it does because it happens at the end after everything else has. season 1 and 2 also started out with slice-of-life episodes to ease the viewers before going into the main arcs, and yet i don't see nearly as many people complaining about those episodes.
the divine tree arc and the alien arc (yes even the alien arc) were there to focus on other characters besides just mob, and wrapped up their arcs as well. it just seems like you're only focusing on the action and shock factor rather than the actual writing quality, because that hasn't changed from the previous two seasons.

What a fucking tricky episode. I seriously thought it would just be a normal SOL episode from the last preview.
Tsubomi changing schools and people confronting her. But, then you've got the ending scene.

Finally, the final arc has begun. Mob Psycho 100 has come such a long way with only 3 episodes left. Can hardly believe it.

I can't wait for the next episode... but I'm also not ready for this series to end.

My guess is that it happened so fast that his body acted on its own. If he waited a split second to use psychic powers again to stop the car the body lying on the ground would be the boy instead of him. Besides, judging by how wrecked the car was, I think his psychic abilities instinctively kicked in but it wasn't able to protect him, at least not completely.

Why does a teacher has to inform that a student from some other class is moving away? Isn't this something that the homeroom teacher would share to their particular classroom only?

Like a couple of people have pointed out that it feels weird/contrived that Mob is able to stop the car for the cat, but he doesn't do the same for the van that's going to hit the child. I'm sure a lot of people will come up with some haywire explanations on why the same scenario doesn't work twice.

Mob Villain Arc?
After Mob narrowly saves a cat from a vehicle, he sacrifices himself for the life of that boy. After his recovery his emotions are at 100% and goes wild, preventing all cars from going above the speed limit. Oh and dimple is beging the initial car crash but dies.

Ultimate Mob Villain Arc, thoughts?

For anyone wondering why he could stop the cat from being ran over but not stop the truck from hitting him:
Mob has psychic powers, not superhuman reflexes. His powers are something he need to consciously use (except when in ???% state), so it's perfectly understandable that his first instinct was to just think "save the kid" and nothing else, specially considering he spent all his life trying to avoid using his powers and he's only recently starting to accept them as something useful.

EDIT: Also, the truck was already too close. If he stopped the tuck so suddenly, he could have killed the driver. If he put a barrier around himself and the child, same result the driver crashes against the barrier and dies. The only safe option would have been to levitate both himself and the child high enough, but then again, split-second decision, not easy to think that far.

Because Mob saw the car about to hit the cat way before he saw the van about to hit the kid and thus had less time to react before his body moved on his own. It isn't that complicated if you think about it for a minute, you just wanna everything to be overly complicated. lol

The final arc is here! Tsubomi is moving next month, and Mob wants to confess to her, just like the entire school. Mob asked many of his friends and acquaintances for love advice, but they don't have anything really concrete to tell him. As usual, Reigen had the best advice, which was to just be yourself, and don't bother with keeping up appearances. All was going well, he even got a nice bouquet of flowers, until a distant brother of Truck-kun, Car-kun, decided to strike...

This episode was quite the slice of life episode, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. It's episodes like this that remind me that we are truly nearing the end of the series.

I just don't understand how people can hate this EP. Even though it's kinda like a setup EP everyone supporting mob was wholesome. Mob now able to play football and be athletic was a good reference from S1 where he was not able to do any of that. The phone call between Tsubomi was funny as hell. This was great. Mob now goes unconscious so obviously ??? is gonna come take over his body ig. Waiting for the next EP.
