| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- so he got some sand and became a cloud of sand dust. but this show a lot of weird stuff already, so i don't mind that lol. so shibukawa has some natural psychological barrier that keeps him away from strong opponents, huh also, that yanagi fight so random and slow. baki's dad appeared, don't know what's that all about |

| Felt bad for Yanagi when he lost his strongest weapon (his right hand) in an instant (couldn't even see what weapon was used) but at the same time, I'm really just disappointed in all of these 5 prisoners, they're all just about surprises but when they got surprised they quickly loses the initiative and it's over, there's no dept in their fighting style, they're looking for defeat even tho they're bound to lose with their style reliant on initiative. well at least Dorian got it easy lol Gaia is gay lol |

| Sikorsky admit defeat against Gaia! He really brought fear onto Sikorsky! i wonder who's gonna be the opponent of Gouki Shibukawa!? who is this Motobe? another weapon user!? damn! he cut off Yanagi's right poison hand! the one he mostly relies on! WOW! Yujiro rarely shows-up! i wonder what the heck is his objective!? maybe use yanagi to make Baki more powerful? well the story is all over the place and hard to predict! 5/5. |

Gaia was like "I got completely crushed by Ogre when people said we're equal" Motobe Izou was like "I looked strong but then lost on the 1st round of tournament" I really prefer Nomura Kenji's voice for OGRE But now I get the goosebump from Ootsuka Akio's voice |

| Motobe was nice to see. I remember Baki training with him - but the guy that really destroyed him afaik was Yujiro back then somewhere on the streets/park where he destroyed him. Gaia nice to see as well. I guess it isn't too unusual for Gaia to be that strong. As long as you aren't very intelligent and learning on how to adapt/conter him ... pure strength and reflexes probably won't work. Just because Baki beat him doesn't mean he is weak or orthers are weak because he can handle them and they don't need to bring out Baki. Same for Motobe. Tbh his face was a bit weird. (Different style - as with all the other chars.) Thought Dorian was back at first. :D |

| Wait what was the point of Gaia and his camouflage, couldn't he just have blinded Sirkovsky from the start and then inducted fear until he gave up? So far I find the battles of Sirkovsky and Yanagi not really satisfying, they have been one-sided battles so far compared to the battles of Dorian and Speck. |

| I don't even get the point now of having that initial 5v5 confrontation with Baki and his crew vs the Convicts. Literally all of them besides Speck and Dorian have been taken out by random minor characters showing up out of nowhere. Shibukawa hasn't even had a single fight this entire arc... This show has been an absolute trainwreck since after the Oliva Vs Doyle fight. Baki has done nothing besides sit on his ass with his ugly ass girlfriend, the convicts suddenly all become little bitches after being hyped up to insane degrees, and Yujiro just pops up from time to time to look cool. I can't believe how far this show has fallen since the amazing first season |
| To say that the two remaining convicts suffered a crushing defeat is a grave understatement and it's also surprising that it wasn't any of the initial participants that fulfilled their wishes. Sikorsky's defeat was a very poetic one. It was basically him getting a taste of his own medicine. He ended up being brutally beaten by a complete stranger who uses their environment to fight and every dirty move available to win while burning the feeling of fear into their opponent's psyches. Yanagi, on the other hand, was served fistfuls of humble pie. The guy's so prideful and stubborn regardless of how badly he ends up losing but facing the world's strongest man and hearing him say that he's already lost might just make him crumble at last. |
