| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Finally, Sword Maiden is here! She speaks in an elegant manner as I had expected but also gives off a mysterious vibe about her character. Also got to see a bit more of Temple of Law. Goblin Slayer is back at it again with goblin slaying :o. About time. We even got a goblin pirate this week. It seems they are more coordinated and have different roles in their world. Again, I'm actually impressed by Priestess' improvement in her magic. She really became a valuable member of the party. |

| So the met up with the Sword Maiden and it seems she had a tough job for them. But so far they where able to fight the Goblins they encountered but it's clear someone us pulling the strings. i guess things will be interesting. |

| We got sword maiden now and looks like the studio is going to keep the face reveal to the last episode but I have a serious question if face reveal is going to be the finale what are they going to do about the healing part is he going to be all naked with just his helmet Another boss fight coming up and he is big and the dice rolling sound after knowing what it means it gives me eerie feeling Goblins on a boat looks funny I wish one of the goblins said yaar |

| Great episode. Nice to see that GS actually has a party now, I mean he at least asks them whether they wanna come along. xD Pretty cool to meet the sword maiden, is she blind? I'm interested in learning more about her backstory since she's considered a hero. I find it funny that Elf and Priestess both tell GS that he can't use Fire or Poison. Why not though? The goblin hunting in the sewers was probably the best one yet, action sequence were extremely cool especially the opening segment with GS just murdering some of the them. I'd never thought I'd see Pirate Goblins but hey, anything goes I guess. Swap Dragon's appearance was cool too, GS saying it's not a goblin made me laugh. XD GS figured out that the Goblins were actually put rather released in the sewer by something larger. From the final sequence, is that an orc or a Goblin King or something? |

| Great episode and what a scene to start the episode with. Pristess's lecture of GS about discussions was amusing as was the elf and priestess's tag team on him on the restrictions on tactics. Its nice seeing GS actually take part in the convo actually. The sword maiden sure lives up to her name being beautiful and graceful. The battle underground was impressive and tension filled. The moment when GS and Lizardman boarding the gob boat was awesome. Nice to see the party's improved teamwork as well. Using the dragon to take care of the gobs was a novel idea. Seems something else is pulling the goblin's strings here. |

| welp, the second half was better than all that chit-chat. and so far the only good shot was that sakuga of gs slicing a goblin with a dagger, other than that this adaptation just doesn't hit me the right way |

| wow, they introduce the hero for a character that wouldn't make much appearance after this, i would say it's a waste. idk but after seeing her i got a strong instinct that they will skip village arc. |

| Nice to finally see some good action with equally good animation. Instead of the usual short bursts. I hope they deliver with the following episodes, cause the stuff that's coming up will be fucking amazing if they manage to nail it with some good animation and directing. Fingers crossed. |

| I can't believe they actually used the sewer alligator myth in this series. That took me by surprise. It was still very cool seeing such behemoth eating those little shit goblins like fishes. Sword Maiden looks and sounds nice. Wanna see why she's so popular in the fandom. Hope they reveal those reasons in the remaining episodes (unless it's just for her appearence, but I doubt that). Also gotta love Goblin Slayer not giving a shit for the Hero wrecking one of the servants of the Demon King. If the enemy isn't a goblin, he will not give the smallest fuck. |

| Was a pretty nice episode. Liked some of the action bits compared to previous ones in past episodes. Wonder how much episodes they'll use for this arc. It'd be really amusing if next episode ended the same way Chapter 22 ended. The reactions should be great if it does. |
| Awesome episode! Priestess and High Elf telling GS to not use water, fire and poison was hilarious, GS accepted quickly, but their Priestess and Elf sinergy telling that was funny! Looks like that they are educating a children, lmao! Water city looks really beautiful, and the Temple of Law was wonderfull! Sword Maiden looks really beautifull and i am wondering if Sword Maiden and Priestess are related, they look really similar, and want to know her backstory as well, and why is she with blindfold, hope next episodes we will learn about that! Ruins part was awesome, their teamwork as a group is fabulous, they are even more cordinated than before, the rock spell by dwarf looked really cool! I am glad to see Priestess had became really useful for the group, she is now a valuable member for group! Didn't expect that swamp dragon there, but no problem, "it isn't a goblin"! |

| Goblin Slayer can be pretty hilarious with his simplicity. "That's not a goblin." "Let's kill some goblins." Lol he really doesn't think of anything else. Well, he got his wish in this episode, as they ended up killing a lot of goblins. The action was pretty good overall, and I liked the Sword Maiden along with the foreshadowing of the looming threat at the end. |

| Will someone please remind me why the side characters are prohibiting Goblin Slayer from using fire/water/poison? Or are these limitations being used for no reason besides plot purposes to make things "more challenging?" |

| Best episode so far. (Previous one was the worst episode ... too boring.) I guess episodes like the previous one are okay for world building. (It showed how the noobs act and how the system with promotion in the guild works.) Best is the action. And with the nice party and the interaction between the chars ... it just works fine - even without a deep plot. I'm even getting used to the Slayer (worst char for me so far). This episode his fixation on goblins was really hilarious ... the "that's not a goblin" on that water dragon ... funny. Dialogues between the main party members are fun as well - even outside the action if they are just in the inn/pub. Only the episodes with slayer + noobs only/mainly (like episode 5) were a bit boring. I guess the scene they omitted is something from the past of the Slayer which they can just show later without it breaking the plot (since there isn't any real deep plot so far)? I like how Slay is different from the others. Reminds me of KonoSuba where the main also was different. Cause he was the only normal person. Here it is a bit the opposite ... still pretty skilled but Slayer is not "normal". Priestess girl seems the most composed and is learning a lot. I loved how she used the protection spell on her own and with nice timing. Best fantasy show I'm currently watching. And even compared to others overall/this year on top ... at least an 8/10 (grade B / "good" in my system) should be safe for now. And that even without much deep plot ... When I saw the chars listed with their class only (instead of a name) I thought it might be boring and annoying chars. And only action ... I was a fool. I'm ashamed I thought so .... just to realized that the chars are the main strength so far. (The party around Slayer ... and now that I get used to him even Slayer - who is fun to watch with his fixation on goblins. The noobs ocassionally shown ... I don't care about them.) |

| Decent episode, the whole time watching felt that it was rushed, don't remember many details from manga, but thought that something wasn't right. Not a fan of comedy moments, really too many of them. |
