| I thought Toshi's son was going to be arrogant, but Satou is a good kid, looks like he knows the basics of baseball but has not practiced it yet, maybe that is where Daigo could help him, now that he's back in the field, we'll see how those two get along. |

| I'm loving this! I honestly sympathize with Daigo, it's not that he hates baseball or anything. It's just that people always compare him to his dad and have high expectations of him, I like him. I also like his future "wife" Sakura, who's super nice to him, unfortunately he tells her off rudely. Satous son has a strong arm, guess he'll be the pitcher and Daigo the catcher. If Daigo can learn to bat like Satou he'll be a great baseball player one day. |

| Ok I love this. Wasn't quite sure from the first episode but this is giving me great Major vibes! Plus I love the dynamic between the seconds! So will Satou be the pitcher and Daigo the catcher? |

The grade 5 kid is bad at communicating with others properly, and the sister is just a junior high teenager who lacks patience and sympathy, and mom is just a baseball fanatic, so ofc they're not going to understand Diago if they don't properly communicated. But again, it's not like Diago hates baseball, it's just that he just need abit more positive reinforcement to get him back to baseball, so encouraging him to go play baseball is actually a good thing to do. Diago only hates baseball because there're way too many negative reinforcement around him from his peers, which happen alot in child's community because children tend to lack remorse and sympathy. If Diago can grow up and learn that he shouldn't mind the negative reinforcement around him, he can be himself again and play baseball properly. This is something he has to toughen up and deal with. |
| These first two episodes just piss me off. No wonder Daigo is like he is. Just because you're the son of a major league player doesn't mean you have to have godly baseball skills. |

| This has so much charm already, comparable to the very first season but with much less despair which isn't a bad thing. |
| The episode was bad, predictable, with a development a little childhood and the animation quality didn´t help, .....but i prefer to wait how to evolve then i will continue watching!!! I can imagine that the kids will interchange the position respects their fathers because if Daigo has the brain can be the catcher, and Satou has the strong this mean that can be pitcher!!! kekeke |
Not bad. I finally caught up with the first two episodes, and I like the setup so far. I was a bit worried that this would get started just like a lot of other baseball anime/manga series, but this can definitely work. Nice characters thus far and throwbacks to the original Major with not too much Goro so far (in a good way). I see where things are starting to go with the 2nd episode at the end with both Daigo and Hikaru. This is actually a pretty good way to set things up with the protagonist not actually being a baseball god from the get-go. The Sakura girl is pretty cute too (and she's voiced by Kana Hanazawa), and I loved her look of complete disdain when Daigo told her off. My only complaint so far would be Shimizu/Kaoru's voice just sounds weird. It's the same VA, but she just sounds so raspy other than when she's angry/screaming. |

| LOOOL I love Satou Jr! He's so funny and I love that Kou is voicing him. Also, I'm so glad this Anime doesn't have that gross fanservice that the manga was doing. (For the sister) Great episode! |

| Great troll with that ending. Still, a really good episode. I'm enjoying this show so far a lot. Satou could be a great pitcher with that power, he has a lot of potential since it was already very strong for his first game. |

| Another good episode that had me laughing. The moment with Sakura saying "Give me back my first love, you doofus!" that was great. Looks like both sons are mediocre at baseball. Did not expect Satou to be a complete novice lol. Holy fuck that arm tho looks like he'll be the pitcher and Daigo will the be catcher (still sad about this). Hopefully Daigo's arm improves if not good enough to be a pitcher to at least be good enough for catcher. Pretty important for the catcher to have a good arm imo. (For example Miyuki from Ace of diamonds) Excited to see what kind of battery they form. |

| I knew he didn't know anything about baseball. This is really shaping up to be a good sequel from the first two episodes. The struggles of Shigeno Jr. are believable, and occurrences like this are common inrl. Wild HanaKana appears, I knew I heard that voice somewhere. Great episode, II might binge this in a few days at this rate. |

| i really like how they less concentrate on the game and more on the character development for those episodes since it's too soon to make high level games in the start of the anime. tashiro wasn't right on one thing - daigo is getting too much "comparing" to his father, even if he is not good at batting or pitching, he have good skills in catching and thinking, but since he's compared by his teammate to his father he don't want to play, even if he might be better than others in other things. i mean, seriously, they are really lousy team -_- i like satou, he's really good character for the anime, i believe he's going to surprise anyone, and he's actually can be role model for daigo - unlike his father he have good pitches than catching, though he needs training mastering it. and WTF diago already have a girl crushed on him xD really like the sequel so far :) |
| So it wasn't the case of Daigo being mediocre as he can field fine, it's just he sucks at pitching and batting. Even more shocking was Hikaru who despite acting mad confident is playing baseball for the first time. Seems like the Seconds will play switched positions from their dads. |
