Chinatsu and Tatara did a good job tbh, definitely exceeded my expectations.

The body movements this episode is quite noticable and the details on Tatara is quite something. I think it's noticable that his body may be reaching his limits at times so he has to be careful. Tatara's potential is recognizable but he still has a lot to learn. I think it's a good thing that he has Marisa as a coach.

Nice to see Shizuru again. It's been awhile. Very tense episode. Tatara and Chinatsu needs to build their relationship better imo.

Great episode as always.

I'm actually surprised that Chinatsu and Tatara performed so well at the Grand Prix, if it weren't for them withdrawing them might have actually cleared the round.

Interesting that Tatara is finally beginning to awaken a 'dancer's senses'. The way it happened in the middle of the dance hall was nice.

Marisa is coaching our duo pretty hard and now they've gotta win the next competition, it's gonna be hard especially since Kugimiya is entering. Still I hope they do. That scene with Kugimiya and Chinatsu laughing at Tatara was hilarious.

Trouble at the end because of the new routine, hope our couple can overcome this.

Also Hanaoka looked beautiful in that summer dress, Also Mako. <3

Compared to the first half of the series I feel like they are speeding through things during the second half. But I like this little training arc for Chinatsu and Tatara.

Chi-chan didn't go wild when she glanced at Akira, I bet Tatara was super tense when he saw her glaring lol. Well they weren't ready for the competition; but they still performed decently.
More dances are getting animated and the proper music is being used almost every time. I'd say that this second cour is improving bit by bit. Tatara is awakening his newty-dancer senses; will be fun to see how he tries to get used to them.
It's the training camp time! Can't wait for the next episode scenes.

Both Tatara and Chinatsu have improved but they still need more practice. I'm looking forward seeing them in the competition against Kugimiya and Akira's pairs.

Tatara and Chinatsu have improved, but they still need to practice more. They withdrew from the Grand Prix. During the dance, Tatara felt a strange feeling that he never felt before, but it's normal to other dancers. Marisa is going to make sure they win the tournament so she can allow them to enter the Grand Prix. It's nice to see the others again.

It makes me happy to see how much Tatara and Chinatsu have improved (They're slowly becoming my ideal OTP tbh) but seeing how frustrated they were with one another and how much stress they had was sad to see

The things Chinatsu said at the end was rough and Tatara's reaction to it really made me feel bad....I hope best boy Hyoudo can help somehow though since it seems like he can do it

Too bad they withdrew from the Grand Prix. I would have prefered to see them not making it to the finals so they could have gained some development. Chinatsu is really annyoing for me and I just don't get why Tatara decided to pair up with her when they fight so much. If she keeps behaving like this, I will probably drop this because I can't bear her any longer.

I doubt there will be ever any romance between couples especially Chinatsu and Tatara, they already spend all their time together and know each other's faults and the things you hate about the person and we kinda saw in this episode how Chinatsu was really sick of Tatara.

Tatara and Chinatsu had a chance to do well in that competition but too bad they withdrew. However, Tatara got to experience that same feeling other dancers have experienced so something good came out of that I guess.

It was nice to see that big reunion at the summer home with Shizuku, Hyodo, Mako, and Gaju. Unfortunately it wasn't all fun and games as there's now drama between Chinatsu and Tatara. They both need improvement, and fast. Hopefully they can figure out how to be more in sync with each other's movements since things aren't looking too good right now.

I like that there is finally development in Tatara's skill. There is the "zone" in almost every sports anime. I also liked how they finally put their conflict right out in the open instead of just the confuzzled mess Chi chan and Tatara kun has been having. Chi chan has got to get over her ego and leader personality and Tatara has got to start trusting believing in himself. I don't like how he always puts down himself, no matter if it is in competition to comparison of other cp or his own partner. I hope he finally pulls the rein in on Chi chan just like Marisa sensei puts it.

Tatara and Chinatsu did better than they expected, too bad they withdrew from the competition.

But despite their growth they still got a lot of issues, hindering them to unleash their full potential, but time is against them. The next comp is around the corner and this time it counts.

Loved Chi-chans rape face btw xD

That ''four-legged'' scene was awesome! They went all out on that, seems like Tatara experienced it for the first time and is confused about it.

He still puts himself down when he's actually doing pretty well for himself, Chinatsu is hesitant about being led still and can't get along with his style that keeps changing throughout his career cause he's still developing.

It blew up at the end but we might see them getting their shit together now. Good stuff here.

Great episode. LOL Hyodo & the others are not at the Grand Prix.

Tatara & Chinatsu's dancing was great. Love the visuals. Too bad they didn't stay for the rest of the competition.

Nice to see everyone at the Training Camp.
Marisa is such a tease.
Oh no trouble between Tatara & Chinatsu. Hopefully they can make up.

Episode was good but VERY DISAPPOINTED that they omitted the moment when Tatara saw Shizuku on her summer dress and he had tears on his eyes because of how beautiful she was. That was one of the best moments in the manga and they just rushed through it and had akagi interrupt the moment immediately.

I'm guessing they did this in order to put more focus on Tatara's relationship with Chi-chan and not remind the audience how Tatara admires Shizuku so much.

They also skipped Chinatsu tearing up and threatening for a 'divorce' when Tatara spaced out and skipped their next dance. Also her personal thoughts during the 4 legged experience.

This was a nice episode.
But just when Tatara progressed a bit as a dancer and grasped the feel, the couple had to pull two steps back as the overall result.

I'm glad they're putting the showdown with Hyodou and Akagi pair on hold for now.

Shizuku was really pretty in that summer dress. And since I've got a thing white one piece dresses, I couldn't get any more charmed by that scene~

Can't help but feel she and Tatara has some sort of special connection, haha.

Oh well, can't wait to see our duo to dance in unity.

So Tatara and Chinatsu could have passed to the next round, but Tatara cracked...

So now they're going to practice in dance camp...and we got the whole gang back together again! Yay! Well...they're missing Sengoku and Hongou...which would have been a blast if they were there...

Before Tatara and Chinatsu start working on their dance, they need to get their act together...Maybe Tatara can't lead as well as Chinatsu can, but I think the real issue here is Chinatsu being unable to follow Tatara. Well we got ourselves a hot spring episode, so I guess they'll take their time to cool their heads before trying to dance again...

It's a shame that Tatara and Chinatsu withdrew from the Grand Prix, as they would've got passed the first round had they stayed in the competition. Very impressive animations for their dancing as well as the 'four-legged' scene with Tatara. =)

It's good to see Mako and Shizuku again at the training camp, but this was overshadowed by the struggles of Tatara and Chinatsu's training. The stress limits for the both of them peaked, with Chinatsu snapping first and shouting out at Tatara, but the look on her face afterwards shows that she regrets her outburst. Poor Tatara started welling up at the end as well, poor lad. D=

Hopefully the two will get back to training in the next episode and hopefully by then, they'll understand each other's rhythm better as well. =)

Yeah, I had said before that if they were going to adapt Chinatsu, they would have to increase the pace, otherwise these 24 episodes would end around chapter 30, and so they did.
And currenty we are around chapter 30 and ep16, they are obviously aiming for the latter 40's chapters, but the mangaka has yet to release those..

Currently I m enjoying the anime but I did like the manga more, perhaps it is only natural since they are skipping some scenes, but they are at least, doing a good job with Chinatsu.

Good bye, show. I'm dropping you now. This is subjective, but honestly I loved the first cour of this anime, it was 9/10 for me. But ever since that Chinatsu became a part of this, I'm no longer enjoying the show. First, she's annoying. Second, I can't stand tsundere-wannabe characters <- or maybe she's a tsundere. Third, I can't stand not seeing the whole dance. I know I've been whining about the studio not animating whole dance, but it feels like I'm wasting my time watching a not worthy anime because I came for the dance, but I just ended up disappointed. It's like ordering a food at a restaurant because it looks so delicious on the photo, but when it was served to you it's not as delicious compare to what you've seen in the menu. I hope you guys are getting my point. Then you have no choice, but to continue eating it because yeah you've already started eating it, so might as well eat it all, but it left a very bad taste in your mouth. That's how this show have been making me feel ever since the second cour started.

The first cour is promising and despite yeah not animating the whole dance, I let it slide because of the interesting characters (Hyodo, Shizuku, Mako, Sengoku, Gaju), but when that Chinatsu introduced in the show, she's unceasingly ruining my watching experience. I just can't watch this show anymore because I always end up annoyed and frustrated. I tried my best to like her, but I just can't. She's just annoying the fuck outta me.

Dropped at 16th episode. 5/10.

Interesting episode about the growth of Tatara and Chinatsu. The latter in particular, succeeds in stealing the scene despite being Shizuku and Mako. The narration is not sparkling as it has happened in the best episodes, but it can defend itself well. Marisa can do her beautiful figure, showing under various lights, fans will be happy, today she has given herself or almost like MILF. XD

Entering the competition without permission turned out better than I thought. They didn't win or anything, but Tatara discovered something pretty important.

I just noticed in the ED that when it shows Tatara and Chinatsu walking side by side, their steps aren't in sync, but when Chinatsu walks ahead and leads Tatara, their steps sync up. Such nice detail. I hope this ED also changes as their connection with each other grows :)
