THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- woooo this chapter came out of nowhere, was not expecting it. I have to say this chapter was pretty good it allowed us to see the perspective of the marley and eldian side of things, and it was interesting. A bit disappointed that we still haven't return to our main group, but this chapter made up for it, and it seems Annie might be out of the crystal and is now helping Eren and company. I just can't wait to see how they look and what they have accomplished in these past 3 years. Also rip Ymir ;( You were one of my favorite female characters. Its also interesting that Zeke has two sons. I wonder if Eren has any by now? lol 5/5 |

and... Reiner is alive (not that anyone actually thought he died from last month's chapter) Looks like Armin is practicing his titan shifting. Zeke has a year left while Reiner has 2. We also get to see the human form of Galliard and Pieck. R.I.P Ymir who was eaten by Galliard, which also means he indirectly ate his brother Marcel. Even if it was a brief flashback scene we got to see Annie. Since the Jaw Titan isn't a separate titan from Ymir's Titan. Who is the 9th titan I wonder. Also there goes the theory of Zeke eating Ymir. Since the Jaw Titan isn't a separate titan from Ymir's Titan. Who is the 9th titan I wonder. |

This chapter was freakin' awesome! We got to see hints of an ulterior motive for Zeke, the Marley commanders, some really good character development for Reiner (and Ymir too I guess), hints of what the main cast have been up to during the past few years, and a bit of an idea for where the story is going from here. We also learnt some more about titan succession and how Eldian traitors are classified and treated (near the end of the chapter). Not to mention, we learnt that the Ackermans are somehow related to titan science! |

poor Reiner still not over his friends, Zeke is amazing, and i really need to see the main group i wonder if Annie is out already, zeke has 1 year while reiner has 2 years left i wonder what will happen from here. so ymir is dead now, rip one of the best characters in the series. |

RIP Ymir, it's kind of funny that a chapter confirming her death came out on the same day as an episode in which she supposedly died. Looks like Annie could still be out there somewhere. Reiner only has 2 years left to live while Zeke has 1, and I liked that small bit about the Ackermans potentially being related to Titan science. Pretty interesting chapter overall, I hope we get back to the main group now to see what they're up to. |

Bad translations aside this was a pretty good chapter. I'm actually more interested as to what the wall people did with Annie. They provably tortured her but I can't see them letting her or convincing her to join them after all the people she killed. Better to give her power to someone else. |

There I was, with the feels after watching episode 5 of the second season and now we find out Ymir is dead. Well, I guess it makes sense for Marley to pass the power to a trained solider like Gaillard, who was also Marcels brother. Now that we know more about the shifters, i think this is the lineup: 1.Founding Titan: Eren (Paradis Team); 2.Attacking Titan: Eren (Paradis Team); 3.Colossal Titan: Armin (Paradis Team); 4.Female Titan: Annie (still encased or joined Paradis Team); 5.Armored Titan: Reiner, soon to pass on (Marley Team); 6.Beast Titan: Zeke, soon to pass on (Marley Team); 7.Jaws Titan: Galliard (formerly Ymir) (Marley Team); 8.Mule Titan: Piek/Pikku (Marley Team); So the 9th titan is still unidentified but it could either be on Marleys side or it could have tourned rogue and doesnt belong to any faction. And what about that Paradis panel with the Attacking and the Colossal? I guess that means Armin really turns into a Colossal sized titan. Can't wait for the next release. |

After reading this chapter I think that Zeke will eventually BS the whole marley nation to avenge all eldians. Maybe he was planning this all along while acting on the side of the marleys. F I need more chaptersss. |

Oh so there's still an unknown 9th titan? Interesting. I'm surprised Pieck was a girl too, not a bad looking one at that either :P I feel sorry for Reiner. A lot of cool stuff released this chapter, think I got the gist of it even with the poor translations. RIP Ymir, feels weird as I only saw the latest episode an hour or so ago. I wonder what happened to Annie? |

who would have thought the ugly mule titan was actually a girl! She had to force herself to walk on two in her human form, otherwise it will be like an open invitation for a doggy-style. |

Maybe it's because I'm also watching the 2nd season of the anime at the same time but I've been completely confused as to what's going on in the manga for the past few chapters or so. I don't understand who's on the Marley side and who's on the Eldian side anymore, and I'm also really confused about what Eren and his group have to do with all the new characters. Was there a time skip into the future that I somehow missed? |

Oh wow, I'm actually a little bit shocked to learn there's still 1 titan we don't know! Also sad to see Ymir gone :( I was wondering about her a few days ago. hopefully we still get to see more of her in flashbacks though. I'm wondering if the Paradis people have captured all the Marlians who came in fleet to them. And if so, did they drag out information? Are they keeping it quiet for the common people? How are they preparing for what's to come? Also the short mention of the Ackermans being a subproduct of the titans sounds interesting. Also a good explanation for why they're so strong. |

The rest of the regular cast should be Eldian. We still don't know what state Annie is in so not much to say about her. And yeah, there was a 4 year time skip in chapter 91. We're just seeing everything from the other side right now and we're being kept in the dark about the people on Paradis (as it was completely the opposite prior to this revelation of an outside world). |

Gaillard's titan is different from Ymir's titan in looks, but it is small (im guessing 10-13 meters) and extremely quick and agile. For a more specific answer we have to wait until we see new people with the titans we already know (Beast, Armored) and how Armin's form incorporates characteristics of the Colossal. |

ymir = jaw titan.... but i didntt see any jaw on ymir's titan... pretty nice chapter, overall I like marley focused chapter more. their situation and POV are way more interesting than paradis island. eren is just looking for small civil war, really small scale but marley's is global-scale. too bad eren is our protagonist and the story will probably focused only on these small war instead global scale. i want to see modern human with technologies BTFO these titan countries. |

So Ymir was killed off screen. Seems like the manga skipped a lot of important events. I think some of these events will be in an animated movie of some sort. |

The actual person is yet to be revealed. I personally think it must be a very terrifying experience to encounter this titan. Also, some re-explanation on the past events, which is very good to who follows monthly and end up forgetting some stuff (me included), but I don't know how this will turn out when the full volume is out. Maybe a bit of repetitive. And RIP Ymir. Very curious how this chapter and S02E05 came out on the same day, and both regarding Ymir and the death of Marcel. It was nice to watch too remembering her full origin story, I think the script writers are using the manga's new info to make better connections in the future (aside from the spoilery ending theme). |

I know it's a vain wish but I really want to see what our main characters look like now, just a panel is fine. The continuous focus on the Marley side makes sense, but I'm thinking most of these characters won't survive past 2 arcs. I would probably expect a shift in perspective after 1/2~1 chapter. |

oh damn Ymir is now dead huh because they said they saw the memories of Ymir already, so Ymir is one of the 9 titan shifters after all, i wonder whats the name of her small weak titan and this chapter also revealed how the Beast titan can make titans by injecting his spinal fluid into eldians, so RIP Connies mom and town people, the titans made from the Beast titan can be controlled by him and can move at night so that explains what the second season of the anime is showing and wow so the Ackerman are like super genetically enhanced humans base from Titan science eh, so Mikasa and Levi really are like family then |

Im so done with this manga, the only thing i didnt want to happen to Ymir, dying off screen its what happens...really Isayama? You kill one of the best characters just like that? "she was just a poor girl with a name to big for her" NO NO NO SHE WAS MUCH MORE THAN THAT, everything she stand foor was throw in the trash with that. "IF I EVER GET A SECOND CHANCE IN LIFE I WANNA LIVE FOR MYSELF" oh yeah i see that, you let yourself get eaten, the girl who has such a terrible past yet she fight to live, let herself be eaten becase she want to return her power, yeah seem legit. "LIVE YOUR LIFE WITH YOUR HEAD HELD HIGHT" she dies with her head dow. OK ISAYAMA. A character who did so much to Historia, to Sasha, even she saved Reiner and Berthold and u kill her like if it was just a character that appeared once. And now you put Reiner like a nice guy "woah you seemed like a guy everyone deppended on" woah reiner such a nice guy, now you can marry Historia and make a beautiful heterosexual ship, you totally deserve to live more, you that has killed thousand of innocents lives, you deserve to live more than Ymir, at the end she is just a poor girl with a name too big for her right? Yeah, dropped. |

Yeah, dropped. I agree that Ymir's fate doesn't make sense here if you look at her life's philosophy (live for yourself!) but maybe she had no choice (too weak to escape?). So we can see it as a "she did once a really really stupid choice when backing Rainer and Berthold and she paid the price of her stupidity" ? To be honest I'm quite speechless they didn't even show her trying to escape this shit fate. Maybe ISAYAMA will explain it later in a flashback (once again) but really Ymir dying without a fight? Isn't that a bit lazy? Nice that they explain now in the manga how the village uprising in the anime was possible. |

Um, am I the only one confused as to how chapter 93 is already out if Bessatsu's June issue is scheduled to come out on May 9? Did the chapter get published elsewhere? Did it get leaked? Is this an elaborate scam? I've tried googling in Japanese, but all I've found so far were discussions of the chapter's contents rather than publication details (and where there were publication details it just says "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine June 2017, on sale May 9). |

actually why only eldian's are using titan powers.. why can't marley's use it..? and also earlier zeke told if colosal or female had been dead, a child harbouring that power would have been born in the continent.. i was thinking why it has to be on the continent.. the people inside the wall are also eldian.. why cant a child be born there? does any1 know? |

Ehhhhh off screen Ymir death. I dont want more flashbacks explaining things. Cant we have current time explanations or events unfold in front of us, rather than lazy info dumping and flashbacks. 4 years have passed and no flashbacks can make up for that period gone of doing what ever the fuck they are. I dont want everything explained in flashbacks or off screen. I want to see the shit going down or how it happened during it happening. Doing it off screen and then explaining it months later is just shitty and lessons the impact. Ymirs death came out of nowhere, why offscreen an important character that has appeared throughout the series and had potential to be an amazing character, for her to just be off screened. I felt no emotions, just annoyance. All that live for yourself bullshit? All for nothing I guess because om nom nom need those Titan powers for my successor. Only characters from the current bunch of the Marley side I care about are Zeke and Reiner. I swear if they die to basically poorly written shoehorned in new characters in the last 1/4 of the story, I will be pissed. I hope for at least another confrontation with Erens group if Isayama plans on killing them off. Maybe I wouldn't dislike these character's so much if we had some sort of build up towards them or even a mention of them earlier on in the series. They just get introduced out of nowhere after Eren and co went into the basement. At least the Beast Titan and Armoured appear throughout the series and are interesting individuals and characters. The new ones just seem like a forced group that we are suppose to feel sympathetic or care for them for the shit they are going through and the reasons they have to invade Paradis Island, minus the character development and attachment to any of the characters, except for Zeke and Reiner IMO. While the overall story is interesting and Im enjoying the new approach and direction its going, I am not enjoying the new main cast of character's and I feel as if they severely bog down the experience and enjoyment of each new chapter. |

Honestly I'm wondering if it'll turn out that Ymir made a deal with the Marley to keep Historia safe in exchange for voluntarily giving up her Titan powers to one of their Warriors |

RIP Ymir. To think the anime recently just focus on her recently too. |
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist. |

vonPeterhof said: It got leaked early because it's Golden week in Japan.Um, am I the only one confused as to how chapter 93 is already out if Bessatsu's June issue is scheduled to come out on May 9? Did the chapter get published elsewhere? Did it get leaked? Is this an elaborate scam? I've tried googling in Japanese, but all I've found so far were discussions of the chapter's contents rather than publication details (and where there were publication details it just says "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine June 2017, on sale May 9). |

MenInBlack said: No Eren is still at Paradis IslandYmir offscreened ? I will never forgive Isayama, too bad I can't give 1/100 for this chapter. My heart missed a beat when I read that ... She died OFF SCREEN ! HELP ME ! HELP ! ME ! Anyway ... Is that Eren who is behind Reiner's group in the town ? I mean, that's a non-poorly drawn Eldian with the same hairstyle with the armband on the wrong side. Is that the beginning of an infiltration and also the war ? |
