| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So glad that Doremi is following this. I've only finished the first series. Anyway, Tsubomi's final attack looks kinda like Nanoha's Divine Buster (except it's a giant flower) Oh look, a mysterious male character come to save the female protagonist and of course, there's absolutely no way he looks like anybody we've seen in the OP :P |

| Not really try to praise this show but this is not the cheesy Precure you expected of. This is freakin action Prcure with refreshing art. I find the 2 main girls are really interesting a character which is something we rarely seen recently. As for the mysterious male character, he is fairly another interesting character rather than just another cheesy male lead that we have seen in many of this kind of show. Talk about action, it is just so great in this episode, so does the last one. |

| It's AWESOME! Wow I didn't expected this series to have plot twist at all.(ep1 is enough) But It's make me surprised more and more! Mysterious megane guy. Grandma thing. What the hell is that ? Animation is very good. Fight scene is superb.Character development(Erika and tsubomi) can developed very well and nice start for their relationship. The another thing that I like is The tsubomi reaction to monster. This is the way that normal people should be. I Like IT !! |

| Wow, is it a Shugo Chara [hey, that guy was Ikuto with glasses!] plus Kobato. [colect heart's seeds and put in a bottle, huh]? It may not be anything very original, but it's enjoyable. I love both OP and ED [it remembers me of Project Diva lol]. I'll keep watching, a mahou shoujo show may be fine once in a while :P |

That's exactly what I thought too, but I still like it very much, and hey, it may become even better than Shugo Chara since Shugo Chara seems stuck in fillers. :D |
Blossom really does suck, but I saw a glimpse of some of the nice combat. These magical girls got some nice down and dirty self defense going on! |

| Who is that mysterious boy? I WANNA FIND OUT! Anyway, good episode. Tsubomi as Cure Blossom really is pathetic, but I did see some lovely action. Also, she might really grow on me as a character. (UPDATE: Nevermind. Erika just grew on me whilst my hiatus on watching anime continued.) Also, Tsubomi/Cure Blossom's final attack reminded me of Hell and Heaven from GaoGaiGar, except with a big flower and she doesn't rip the crystal out of the monster of the week and destroy it. ...Okay, the only parallel it shares with Hell and Heaven is that the user takes out whatever thing holds the victim captive out of the monster of the week. But still! |

| Pretty sweet episode. Grandma being a Precure in her past was a surprise. She's such a nice character. Chypre and Coffret are so adorable. ^^ |

| Did that fairy just poop out a seed? Was that a Tuxedo Mask knockoff? Wait, Tsubomi's grandmother was a Precure? Is it possible Precure could do something absurd like having Precures being a long-standing tradition in human history? Geez. Anyways, I'm astounded at how consistent the art and animation has been throughout the episode. The comedic gags are extremely sharp, and the action feels swift and impactful. I'm still not feeling the CG, as coming from Fresh Precure, it seems like Heartcatch is using the same technology, and it looks just as awkward. But, at least for the moment, the episode itself was really good in terms of art and animation, and that's what I'll probably be focusing on for the rest of the show. At least, assuming the visuals remain consistent throughout. Just...wow. About every Precure series has improved from the previous in terms of visuals, but this might be the biggest jump. |
