THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As expected, this OVA or special or whatever adapted (Almost perfectly) the whole chapter of Naruto's inauguration day. The quality of animation and all that stuff is as great as the movie. This scene with Himawari was creepy AF .. it kinda reminded me of Corpse Party I still hate the fact that Naruto missed the most important day of his life just because of one punch from his daughter. |

This was beautiful. Loved the little additions. Kurama getting wrecked as well. Tsunade visiting Jiraiya's memorial put a smile on my face. And Sasuke's walking past Sakura's jacket in the desert dimension. Great stuff Pierrot. |

Got my review up and..this is some of the best out of Naruto that I've seen recently : ). This OVA definitely brings in a lot of closure and seeing Naruto's family interact was a massive bonus. Himawari gaining a lot of Kushina's inner rage is a hilarious touch as well which I was not expecting. I feel a lot of older fans will find a lot to like here. |

Hey, that was actually funny. Can't believe he missed his big day though!! Like, I thought the happiness and glory that came with being inaugurated would be the symbol of accomplishing his dream... welp. Kids take priority eh. |

Lol it was funny and cute, even if I read the manga chapter of this anyways. It was awhile ago though, so it's nice seeing the animated version of it. Himawari too OP :> I love the credits part, where we see Kurama "running away" when Naruto was approached by Himawari. I too would be traumatized. It is a shame that Naruto wasn't there for his big day, given that his dream was coming true. But at the same time, I don't think Naruto's the type to get mad over that. He became the hokage regardless of being at the inauguration or not, and he knows people approve of him. |

Well an adult already and still sounds like a girl. Seems this is the unavoidable fate of almost all shounen protagonists who starts out in their early-mid teens. Heck, even Hinata sounds different even though its usually the female characters who sound the same form age 1 to 40. |

It's been so long since the manga short.... But it's still pretty funny as I remembered. The Chouchou and Sarada scene is the only original stuff from this anime, I wonder why they'd do that. To polish their relationship? Though yeah, it's fun to see non-sucky Boruto and scary Himawari. Considering Himawari was very sidetracked in the movie, this short makes me smile. Also, the scene where Tsunade visit Jiraya's grave made me feel. Why didn't Kakashi or Tsunade showed up in the movie is beyond my imagination. The past kages were probably stronger than the current ones too... especially the Mizukage. |

Ah.. This made me so happy watching this, seeing Naruto and his family all together, it makes me think of how far we've really come from episode 1. |

This is a lovely short, but the thing with this post-naruto anime is that I don't see any chemistry between Hinata and Naruto and that makes me sad |

Uzumaki Himawari for Hokage please. |
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion. http://www.classzone.com/books/lnetwork_gr08/page_build.cfm?content=analyz_media&ch=30 It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist. |

Really enjoyable slice of life in Konoha, except I really don't like the theme of having this new "peaceful" generation having the power to surpass the older generation who are a bunch of "supposedly" talented ninja. It is this troupe of one-upping the previous installment that I really don't like in most of the shounen. When it is used, it undermines the previous series, and when you also used it in your previous series, it just doesn't give much of an impression. |

It was his life's dream finally coming true and it was played for laughs rather than as a moment of joy and reflection, which is kinda sad. |

They did good job. I find it weird to hear Naruto's old voice on his grown body. It doesn't match. I expected a deeper voice. Why was it Konohamaru the one to pretend to be Naruto? Wasn't it Shikamaru? and he said his famous line "what a drag"? Himawari is so cute oh my god! and she has a better future as a ninja more than her onii-chan. |

Seeing as the 500th and final episode of Shippuuden airs in a week, should I watch this special before or after the movie? I'll probably watch episode 500, this, and the movie all at once. |

Man watching Naruto since the beginning, he was a lonely pipsqueak... in this special my eyes went teary seeing him as a parent. Boruto & Kurama are scarred for life since that faithful awakening of Himawari Kekkei Genkai Lol! So far, I’m enjoying the comedy it reminiscent of Naruto (great balance between comedy and seriousness) in contrast of Shippuden. I hope Boruto keep this balance and don’t F it up. |

Here I was, preparing to pour a glass and cry manly tears as I watched Naruto finally realize his lifelong dream. I was building myself up for months, thinking this would be the greatest moment in the entire series. I was ready to etch this moment into my memories for the rest of my life as one of the most majestic ceremonies in anime history. And then Himawari's teddy bear broke. I'm on the verge of tears for reasons I never thought possible. Bless Naruto, this was so like him. The #1 most unpredictable ninja strikes again (or rather, his daughter did). 10/10 |

So Naruto wasn't even there for his own inauguration. Probably the most screen time from Himawari we'll ever see. |
If you see that my post is exactly 1 month old (or more) from when it was posted... Don't waste your time, especially when you want to reply with something petty & insignificant. Assume that I've moved on (because I have). |

Himawari Awaken her Byakugan, and it's scary. don't mess with her. well, it sucks for you Naruto. you're dreaming about becoming Hokage, and yet miss the moment of Inaguration which is very special for those who dream to become a Hokage. |

Well, as expected of an ova, it's not correlated to the story so I shouldn't expect much. I didn't dislike the idea of naruto becoming hokage but actually kanohamaru in placement of hokage for an absence caused by naruto's daughter himawari. I thought it was kinda funny tbh. The best part was how himawari just used one move and naruto was out FOR THE WHOLE DAY. |
