Fremy's freaking awesome.

She doesn't shoot directly at Adelt in the end but still made her point. I think she might be aiming that gun a way bit way too much though

It was also nice to see Goldof in action. The dude is pretty badass when he fights. It's interesting that they showed some of the aftermath of the fighting as well. Very violent stuff. The world fiction still remains amazing for this show.

Very tense episode. Love the sense of paranoia and distrust around the characters. I hope we see more of that. Really makes me interested in character backstories and why they are the way they are...

Holy shit that was some of the best executed atmosphere and tension between characters I have seen in YEARS. And not just with Fremy/Flamie and Adlet, but with Nashetania and Goldof too(she did not look to happy of Goldoff improving his K/D so to say.

One of them will have to go and activate the temple won't they?

10/10 for the episode.

Much better than last week's episode, felt a lot more compelling.

But WTF are you doing, Nashetania? <.< Those two must have had big momente in the past together.

I really like how the Braves already has a strategy planned out for the demons as well as certain bases and weapons to use against them too

The tone of this episode was pretty great and the world building continues to be the best of the season.....Character interactions were pretty good as well but I especially liked seeing Adlet and Fremy together (Also, leave it to HS to fuck up the names like they did with KnB -_-)

The fight scene with Nashetania and Goldof was pretty cool and I'm especially impressed by the performance of Goldolf, the dude is a badass fighter (Also it's obvious that he has a crush on Nashetania lol but sadly I will not stand for you ruining my Adletania ship =P) Adlet's cat and mouse game with Fremy was great too and their interactions with one another was really funny and I feel like they too have a great dynamic with another like he does with Nashetania

Fremy is a very interesting character......Her personality is cute but at the same time, her actions, demeanor and some of the things that she says pretty much shows that she's probably been through some serious shit in the past and I'm really interested in finding out exactly why she's so pessimistic about working with the other Braves.....Maybe this Brave Killer has something to do with her?

Overall the episode was great yet again and this little scuffle at the end is pretty intense.....Fremy showing that she's great at combat is fun to see but I hope that Nashetania will listen to Adlet and realize that their assumptions about Fremy are wrong....I think that they have a past with one another as well going by how casually Fremy talked about her

Damn they really did try to kill each other.

Very nice episode. Slow for most of the episode. Like that we got some more time with Fremy in this episode. I wonder why she thinks that the Brave will try to kill each other. I mean because she is the Brave killer of course Nashetania and Goldof will try to kill her, but I think she meant something else.

On another note. I love the extra detail they put in this. Like when Fremy calls Adletname and he turn to his side instead of turning all the way around like most anime. Love the realistic effort they putting into this.

5/5.

Same here......I also liked how when walked away from her, he made it seem as if he was like the average extremely trusting MC yet really he was monitoring her actions the entire time just in case

You know what would up this show even more? If the synopsis didn't mention there were 7 heroes, by now we'd have no fucking idea why any of this was happening.

Really nice interaction with Fremy. The episode stopped just a bit sooner than what I thought it would. I'm not sure I like the fact that the anime is really making Nashetania looks incompetent again and again. I wish they didn't do that, because that's not true. But my, leaving aside her inability in the anime to use them properly, those blades she's creating looks more and more dangerous at every episode. The blades she used in episode 2 to kill the fiends were already looking very dangerous (you had to stop the display when she was doing it to see them though, as they were really flashing through the screen, but they were very curved blades ). Nice work on the design here, i'm glad they didn't left her with the one of the first episode. Because while they looked pretty, that was underwhelming from a more practical point of view in battle.

Man Fremy is very nimble in the anime. As expected of anime adaptation, every movement is exaggerated (that goldof spin movement too...). Well I suppose that's okay, That was nice looking and I'll close my eye about the fact that Goldof move was looking quite stupid ImO. Plus I already saw him does that one in the trailer, so I'm already used to it.

About the content itself. Happy to see that Adlet said this episode what they didn't include last time about normal guns' limitation in that verse. Good. Was thinking that one would be missed, but they aren't missing anything important.

Aoi Yuuki is doing a very good job at Fremy. It's not the type of character she usually voice cast but as expected, that's nice. I love how they animate Fremy btw. So nice.

I have to admit I was planning on skipping this earlier on and I only sat down yesterday on a whim. The first thing that caught my attention was the way,the first few minutes panned out.I am a sort of sucker for medieval settings .The attention to minute details is pretty noticeable. With each episode, the show seems to settle down more. The sense of paranoia and distrust is palpable and I hope ,their so far believable interactions would provide more insight to their individual characters and their goals in the future episodes.Pretty good stuff.

when it looked like they did agree on parting ways with not knowing the reason fremy thinks she'll get killed, and instead adlet bombed her xD

even fremy mentioned nashetania not being a very strong choice for a brave, she didn't do really well again in her little battle with the help from goldof
at least goldof is near to protect her..

fog plus salt saint did make a fiend barrier? interesting combination
over those 1000 years they should have learned to use the saint powers in many different ways :o
didn't expected the salt saint to be that important, even more happy to have taken them as my favorite from the start :D

they met, so adlet will have to be the one to defend fremy from the accuse to be the brave-killer

I'm not that fond of the soundtrack.. Or maybe I have to get used to it.

But yet again, this episode was really intense and good. There was some interesting fighting sense and especially Goldof caught my eye. I'd like to point out the interactions between the characters, their relations are splendid and I love it a lot.

This colourful fantasy story is doing so well, and I can't wait for the seven men team to finally meet each other. But this anime needs to be a bit careful, if they'll leave every episode ending with a tense cliffhanger it will get a bit annoying.

I like Adlet's reputation, got to start somewhere lol

I'm surprised that the mirror didn't reflect any light, especially with Fremy all ready to shoot. The consequences if she found out.

Goldof is quite the heavy-hitter, the action was pretty nice.

Fremy and Adlet's interactions were great. It means quite a lot how Fremy still went along despite getting her bag back.

Seeing the military involved in some way was also pretty nice. It just adds more to the "grandness".

Once again I expected them to reach way further than this. That was about 1 or 2 parts of chap2. They're really planning to adapt the whole volume in 12 eps aren't they? I'm so happy :D That volume can be perfect as a standalone series by itself.

Awesome that they took the time to explain the barrier in detail and ofc the important hints for future events like being hot and stuff. Mad Props :D

Friggin loved Fremy (Why the hell did they make it Flamie *facepalm*) and Adlet's interactions <3 Best girl so much :3 Aoi Yuuki doing her so much justice too :) Her "Kyaa" when Adlet stole the gunpowder bag was so cute <3

Adlet's personality is so fun. Rarely do u see a character like that these days ^^; He knows everything that needs to be known and isn't OP but has just the right amount of strength to not need help. The way he followed Fremy and passed her also the way he was being observant checking the mirror from behind like that was cool ^^

As anime only I really dont see that?

She had no trouble handling multiple fiends alone in the end of previous ep and in this episode it felt more like Goldof was rushing in to save her, leaving her with only assists, which annoyed her.

Wow Nashetania and Goldof wasted no time attempting to kill Fremy, so she wasn't wrong when she said they would try to kill each other.

I really liked how Adlet didn't trust Fremy enough to assume she would not shoot him, he's not an idiot.

Well when one of the fiends jumped out from above her after her trap failed she just looked at it like an idiot and even in the last episode Adlet had to protect her. For someone who is described to be pretty strong they seem to paint her as incompetent compared to Adlet and Goldof.

Yes and she wasn't able to handle a single fiend again, even though she had all the time to prepare thanks to goldof, that's what I'm talking about.

BTW, I was a bit bored so I deciphered their language.
Turn out it's english with different letters after all.

They misspelled Nashetania's name even in the hieroglyph lol.

IDk I just don't see it that way?

Last episode it the first fight was quite clear from her hands shaking beforehand and then she seemed to have no trouble taking out 3(4? don't remember exactly) fiends at once alone. And in this episode twice before we are sure she is not going to anything, Goldof rushes in for the kill - we do not see the clear reaction form her that she is not going to do anything(and no, seeing her face for a split second does not count considering her powers involve making swords appear out of thin air) - she is not being deffensive or shown to not do anything, we do not get to see what she would do. Adding the fact that she seems to be angry at him second latter(before Adlet's horse appears) makes me feel like that was more of him being over-protective and her being annoyed at that.

Really ? Those letters existed then? Very interesting. So it's english written with the written language of Aztec? Nice. Probably they just used the symbols attributing each a roman letter that has nothing to do with the original meaning of those character, but still, nice touch.

Yeah. Hilariously certain parts of aztec and mayan languages can be assigned to roman alphabet letters(similar to hwo katakana is used to spell english letters and words in japan)

it's guessable, but we had already the previos episode to guess the answer, now it was time to see the result..

Yeah, I know. Not all the symbols used are real too, which makes sense since they are not "aztecs" they are civilization akin to them.

What I mean is that it has the real world basis for that - the symbols and even the idea of assigning roman letters to them.

Yes, and that's a very nice find. They didn't just use the sceneries and some costumes for secondary characters for the Aztec part, they actually made it look like their writing system was the same too. That's a nice touch, I noticed those weird writings on the wall and maps in the previous episodes but didn't know they were inspired from Aztec as well.

Totally agree. It also helps that there's a main characters all-lined up crawl in the intro:

Also, these guys have some guts to call Adlet's fighting style cowardly when they just attempted to assassinate someone without warning or provocation based on second-hand knowledge. That's some evil shit right there.
