Yay for new ending! Especially the last picture of Goro and his father. <3

Besides... I think Goro deserves being ignored by Toshi. >_> I was against him leaving Toshi, I guess even if Toshi tried to accept Goro's choice he still felt bitter about it deep down inside.
Challenge and all is nice, but why doesn't he want to play in the same team as Toshi? They seemed like such good friends and a perfect battery.

Well there are still the pro times after high school to hope for, but as I know Goro he rather chooses to be rivals with Toshi again. :(

think I'll skip to next season, its pretty obvious that even with a shattered foot Goro will probably still beat Kaido and get a pro contract. and honestly, I have no interest in watching something so thoroughly unrealistic, especially if it means having to continuously listen to speeches about guts and willpower while the same tired formula continues to play out in the same tired rut the mangaka doesn't even bother to try to escape.

its because Goro is a one-man show, and with only one pitch in his arsenal, and absolutely no desire to listen to anyone's advice, he really doesn't need a world class catcher. he could care less who's receiving his pitches as long as they don't drop them. so in his mind its better for Toshi to be on the other team so that their sub-standard (aka not-Goro) pitchers will provide him with a bit of a challenge.

I think it just means I'm laughing.

Man, I just want to deadball Toshi so much to wipe off that smug face.

I get why Toshi is bitter and he should be after being led on by Goro then abandoned. However I also like the fire lit under Ayane too.

Should be a good finale.

Sorry, think it is a little rash to be saying that at this point. Although having said that, I am slightly annoyed with the formula this show runs on too, the first season was AWESOME, but after that it was kind of the same thing in the second and third season. This time though the "Injury that holds him back" is a foot injury instead of a shoulder injury.

This episode was full of the irritating characters: Ryouko, Toshi, Ayane... I can't believe myself. I can't believe I've come to hate Toshi all over again. =)

AND I'm glad that idiot manager finally saw the true self of Toshi.
Please someone explain to me, why the hell only Gorou practiced the slider balls?
I beg the author: PLEASE, LET GOROU LOSE AT LEAST THE NEXT MATCH!

Woah, okay, Toshiya reaaally underestimate him. Much more than I thought.
I find it adorable that Ayane is so hyped to beat Kaido! xD

The reunion with Ryoko was sweet :3
She became really cute, but those legs... A few time, I thought I was watching a Clamp anime!

It's going to be quite the stretch to beat Kaido.

As expected of my the most annoying character in the series. He didn't change at all and still infuriate me to no end.

I am happy to see Ryoko again although at the same time it makes me remember the way that the romance development between her and Goro was brutally interrupted for the sake of it and never returned to. This return is too late, although that was probably the purpose.

To be perfectly honest, I root for Goro x Ryoko More than Goro x Kaoru ;) they seem much more compatible.

Toshiya is so disgusting and he should know better than anyone not to underestimate Goro, extremely disappointing.
It seems in this anime, peoples personality's don't change so easily... clearly.

Toshi is too confident and he should be the one who shouldn't do that, he knows Goro better than anyone else.
Ryoko helped them with the training, that was nice.

I guess Goro might be expecting a bad end because of the injury, so that's why he's not serious about going pro. Maybe he never wanted, but when they ask him if he's interested to play for the team both of his fathers played at, he should've been at least a bit enthusiastic. But with his foot, maybe he thinks that it would just lead to a bigger disappointment if he ruins it and can't play anymore. If he only cares about the current game and breaks his foot, he'll feel somewhat fulfilled for giving his best. A bit stupid, but I guess that's his character.

And nice seeing more of Ryoko, I was scared they might completely drop her eventually.

The question of the season is whether they'll best Kaidou or not, I think. I don't see Seishuu losing the game for storyline-related reasons. If they were going to lose prior, it probably would have been against Mifune.

I don't care for Toshiya's arrogance, but I don't think he's a bad person either.

It's nice to see Ryoko around every once in awhile. I find it interesting that she's making waves in the media now.

What is with Toshi saying he can beat Goro because they're the best team.. what?!? He of all people should know Goro is someone that has crazy intangibles that simply you cannot practice for. I love confidence, but that's just plain stupidity.

I gotta agree with the posters on here, this show is getting old and the formula is stale. Season started off okay, but I'm noticing I'm getting through it out of habit. Hopefully the last 10 episodes the show will pick up!

Goro explained it by himself at the end of season 2. He wants to walk his own path. He wants to see how far he can get by himself. He doesnt want to rely on Toshi all of the time. So he has to find his own way to get to Koshien.

I think that was the reason why even Toshi respected his exit.

Oh yeah, Toshi beaing mean again. That guy is just... freaking... annoying with his mood changes.
My only regret is having regrets!

Ayane finally has some personality.. Glad to see she do something for the team, even for the sake of beating the team where her crush in.

again team politics, where did I heard again that a team doesn't want a player because of his father?
Toshi really underestimate seishuu, his saying "seishuu is a good exercise for 150km/h" really annoys me, it's actually made me like him less.
i really don't understand though why only goro trains his batting again slider.
and ayano really shined in this episode, not only with toshi but also bring an old friend to help goro.

Toshi is quite confident which I would be too if I was in his shoes as only Goro poses a danger with his teammates being just subpar compared to Kaido team where each member is around Goro level of skills.
