Whenever I see Vivian again, I'm always going to remember that huge bruise that Toru inflicted. =[

For some reason I really liked learning about Toru's past... it must be the hair. It felt like a totally cliche past love triangle situation where one of them dies though. I liked how the koala got split open though.

Please, please, please don't turn out like the first season. Sure we got Yukatas this episode (with no Takatsuki...) and swimsuits next but...

Tomo was dreaming something that makes him wants to see his brother.

I never remembered that "monster"'s name. Vivian sounds so feminine!

Tokia? Apparently he was the person who made koara doll.

In order to found out about Tomo's brother, he needs to see Tokia (bucho for science club). Toru lives next to Tokia. Toru has a sister called Akira. Tokia was the person who used Kurogane before.

Tokia's gone the next day, but found him at one place.

lol, Tokia was the source of the koala's voice and he's been watching anime in his room!

Somehow the character design became weird at the end of the ep.

asura cryin' spent most of its first season trying to explain the clockworks in their world so it didn't have much of a plot there and they are still doing it in this season with more information but now, tomo has a mission to save misao.. what's really bugging me is that they even bother putting the obligatory elements of a harem anime (for example, on the next episode, beach; this episode, tanabata; previous episode, pool cleaning) then suddenly shift to serious business.. from the very start, i think asura cryin' has very good potential and i like it with all of its fantasy/sci-fi elements but i think it's just the way they present it that is a bit unsatisfying.. hope they stop it with the next ep and make this a better season..

I think it was worth getting this as first Mecha series but I would like guidance. This episode is good continuation. Emotions, drama (dream in beginning) and story looks good to me but where should I go from this anime towards?

In spoiler my anime list for now.

The way the executed this episode was rather lame and feel so unimpressed. I guess my already low expectation for this series is rather high. And I am not going to dig about the low budget in this episode either.

That's a pretty intense dream, eh?
Oh well, at least in the OP, Tomo's brother looks like a cool guy : D (and it's also a pretty good OP, yep it is)
Episode now then.
Anyway what happened to Tomo's face? He seems to have gotten a beauty operation, although a failed one >.>
Oh nevermind, everyone seems to have become quite.. ugly : D Too bad ain't it?
Anyway, I'll get used to it, since I'm watching this for the story anyway, and not the animation quality.
But well the koala is cool anyway : D
ED's pretty good as well, better than the ED of the first season imo : p
Protip: I don't really check the forums anymore, so if you want something, take it on my profile.
Is it time for my long-awaited return to the forums? щ(゚Д゚щ) Nope™, probably not.

I think Tokiya was more funny for scratching his ass while watching anime.

I forgot to mention the anime girl was a a little girl with panties being shown. O_o

Was wondering about: IF Natsume becomes Asura Cryin can he save Misao by having energy transfer to Misao before she dissapears? Or will he lose control of Kurogane? If anyone can answer that....

Boring, lame, pointless.
They story doesn't make any sense.
They could give more ecchi cos it's the only good thing in the whole series.
I'm gonna continue watching this cos i wanna know how bad it would become.
Oh, i almost forgot, art style started to suck seriously.

Let's see.

The animation quality was horrendous, their head shape and size changed with each frame. Same for directing and editing, scenes were popping out from left and right.
President Toru was completely out of character the whole ep or if you want to put it that way, she showed a completely new side of her personality with her past revealed and the transition took for like half sec. And since when is that short haired tomboy (whose name escapes me right now) not only became teatime buddies with everyone (while she was previously fighting them to death for the stabilizer) but long time BFF of president Toru.

Also, there's the question if the koala guy was simply a looser locked up in his box, why did he try to lure Natsume into deathtraps in the previous ep other than for cheap sitcom.

Not the mention the shallow dialogs gave me endless opportunities to facepalm, with the cliff scene as point of climax.

I would mention more random characters popping up and disappearing but I don't want to be accused of waiting for the show to spoon fed me. It rather throws leftovers in my face

I have a bruise on my forehead from the constant facepalming. Asura Cryin' 2 delivers: I bawled my eyes out from the lack of quality. I tripped and broke my bones over random plotholes and im not shallow enough to be seduced by any of these characters. Turning out to be a bad series, meeting my expectations,

that romance stuff was pretty lame and how aki died was sort of stupid too.

Well that didn't really come as a surprise now, did it?
I mean, in the last episode of the first season, it was made pretty obvious that Toru was an ex-handler due to the etchings on her forehead, which also appeared on that other council-president-guy-whatever-his-name-was-again's hand when his burial doll's soul dissipated.

Yeah but who knew it was Kurogane. I feel bad for Toru because her sister Aki looks nice.

Oh well, guess that her being Kurogane's former handler might've been a little surprise, but it wasn't completely out of sight : >

The Koala, is my favourite character so far.
I liked the back information about Toru.
But, it seems like this episode wasn't excecuted properly, I found myself confused through out most of the episode. In fact I kind of rewind back again, to see If I could make sense of anything.

thinking "wow, for Asura Cryin' standarts this isn't thaaat bad".
Well the end was pretty bad again though, so I guess we're back to nothing.

Wow. What an obvious drop in drawing quality. Even I could see this one.
Moreover this episode's story was really bad and unnatural. What a waste. There were some fairly good things too, but overall it was rather bad. And here I was getting my hopes up after that pretty decent episode 1.

But well... it can only get better again, right?

second ep n it already fall downhill... guess it is "asura cryin" afterall...

p.s. from what i saw from preview... i guess i will drop it...

hmmm, this ep was ok for me ...

Tooru's past n Akiya the President of the Science Club first appearance in this ep was fairly done for me (Well, I'm not talking about the drawing n animation, I'm mainly talking about the plot!)

Tomoharu's wish was to save Misao ..

Naotaka is nowhere to be found even with Dark Society's connections, n Tokiya finally agreed to help Tomo!

that was quite enough for me ..

5/5 ep (for the plot)

the drawing was (2/5) -__-

I guess this might be a lil' more interesting than s1, or we could just say if the opposite happens, that we're talkin' 'bout Asura Cryin' here -__-....

I think I'll need 2 c at least 2 more eps of this show before I make a first impact on it ...

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

Actually that was obvious too, by her reaction when she first saw Kurogane.

Unfortunately everything Kvakond said about this episode was right. The first episode was a lot better. Normally i would love a Tooru episode since she's great but this wasn't made properly and kind of harmed her character instead.

So, Toru was introduced late in the first season, but now it seems like she is going to be a main character now. Interesting back story and everything with her. It's kinda weird that the machines can be transferred like that. Still pretty good start to this season.
