| Obviously what got people attracted to it to begin with is the character designs,that's what i love most about it,there's also the amazing animation. But overall its really nothing great but not as bad as you make it out to be. |

(Evidently some people didn't, but is that a fault of the production studio or the individual viewer? That's arguable either way.) Personally, and I doubt many people like it quite as much as I do, I absolutely loved it for it's great animation, art, music, likeable characters and in my opinion, well-written, beautifully simple story and message. It's one of my favourite animated works ever. Of course, people are free to think whatever they want about it, this is all just my opinion. |

| I thought this anime was going to be overrated but I actually really enjoyed it. Music was great, animation was exactly the kind I like and the bonds between the girls were also enjoyable. There are indeed better anime out there but this one was really cute and had a great mix of everything it needed to have. |

| I was expecting something different, but i liked it. I enjoyed the slice of life and the friendship between Mato and Yomi, the fight scenes were good too. |

| BRS felt more like an art project then it did a franchise. perhaps they'll start up a series and fix up the story. It's not the worse, and I watch some pretty bland crap. for all of those who bare through terrible anime, find me a show that has terrible off-model character designs that are ugly as heck. have over used, cheesy, poorly done, or no music. Has no story, runs too slow or too fast. makes you want to rip your eyeballs out for lack of originality AND is over hyped. Then we can compair. Actually, I want to see if I can sit though an episode. for heaven sakes! I sat through 13 episodes of Mecha Mote Iinchou. |
| Ok, For all those who don't understand the storyline, I am going to explain it. Basically this story is a slice-of-life with an action twist. It can be intresting but only if (A) You are into Slice-of-life shows, action & good art & (B) You understand the storyline. Ok, Well, the Story line is of Mato & Yomi who become bestfriends as you obviously know if you've watched the show, But as Mato starts to hang out & grow close to Yuu, she starts to ignore Yomi without realizing. Yomi, feeling ignored becomes sad & jealous and can only think that the only way to grab Mato's attention & see if she really cares is to run away. Meanwhile another wolrd is forming, the world in in Yomi's sad & jealous mind from being ignored by her bestfriend, and all she wants to do is get revenge on Mato for leaving her, even so theres a part of her dos'nt want to hurt her close friend & that part is inside her strange 'alter ego'/'other self' & is the part of her that Mato must save. After saving her they return to school, grow close friends again, but now Yuu is feeling left out & is forming her own little world like Yomi did before... --- So basically its like the fights average girls get into with their friends, so its basically kinda like a slice-of-life. Its understandable that some people don't understand the story as some of them havn't gone through this kind of thing or a boys who don't really have to go through this kind of thing because, after all, its only something that happens because of the conflicts in a young maidens heart. & So I hope you've got a better understanding of the story now ^ ^ Its a pretty good show in my opinion as i can relate to it, also i enjoy the action scenes & the artwork but then again thats just me -shrugs- . |
| @otakufangirlism, i thought the girls in the other world were already established and so Yomi isn't the girl with green eyes. Also, i didn't think it was obvious that Yomi ran away. Maybe i missed something but i thought it was that she disappeared and they thought she had run away but Mato finds out what really happened? |

| @ AkkarinKHR: I think I understood most of the story but the onther day i did some research to make sure, Apparently, like you said, Black rock shooter & Death Scyth were allready there, after Black rock shooter had fought Black Goldsaw (& lost DX) she was reincarnated so she could help Mato save Yomi who had been possesed by Death Scyth since she had been holding the feelings of sadness & jealousy inside which matched Death Scyth's character. I Think that i explainded the storyline pretty good before, as it was practically correct, there was just more history to the story than i had originally known that could've been included if i had known ^ ^ |

Well, they are going to make a RPG based off of it. And the anime itself is probably going to have more to it. I doubt they'll leave the story as it is, since there are quite a handful of characters that are yet to make their appearance. |

| I dont think its the worst but I do think think there maybe more hype than substance. The artwork and general style were very good especially action scenes but I think they were to few and far between. |
