| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was SO stupid of Scam to lose his head over a piece of ass! I can't even feel sorry for him. He's my least favorite, so I'm actually wishing that he would have been the one that Eri committed suicide with. He redeemed himself in the end, so I guess all is well. Next week is Turtle's arc. I'm not looking forward to what I saw in the preview. I like Turtle. |

| This show is still better then any anime in 2010 so far best spring 2010 anime and best summer 2010 anime Look at all these other gay shows Lilpri,Giant Killing,Uraboku, Rainbow is better then all of them also their is like 10 other gay series I haven't mentioned. Rainbow FTW!! |

On top of it the outcome often tends to be so incredibly cheesy that it hurts the believability of it all. |

| This show manages to retain it's uniqueness and creativity in the greater mass, but i agree that it is slowly wandering off in delivery. Now i when i talk about boring there is two parts; The anticipation for the next episode and the actual entertainment from watching it. As it has been when i see it released i roll my eyes in discontent. However when i actually watch it that part has been relatively high... I just hope they stem the loss and cap this show off at two cycles because as time goes on i am only going to keep lowering it's score. This is of course, assuming that i am not blind and the final episode number has not be confirmed on our actual lists... |
| It was really obvious from the beginning of this arc that something like this would happen, and I found it rather cliché . Looking forward to a better next arc. |
| I dont even care about Scam, next arc is about Turtle and apparently the woman that supplies his business is leaving, to me it looks like it might be radiation thats making him weak. Still Scam aside, Eri's story as a backdrop was kinda sad and pretty common given the era as from what ive read post WW2 Japan, who knows this arc mightve been more enjoyable is maybe Scam had been less obsessed and at least more clear headed. |
| I didn't like this arc, except for the part where Soldier beat up Scam. This arc made him look stupider. This ep was pretty boring to me. Expecting better next week |

However, as it trudges along, it just getting cheesier and cheesier. The whole 2 episode arcs for each character thing is getting mighty boring now. Next up Turtle? Don't tell me, the next 2 episodes after that will be about Soldier? Maybe follow that up with a flashback episode or two and then a final arc involving everybody? I haven't read the manga and I'm just taking a guess here but it wouldn't surprise me at all if thats how the show ended up panning out. I don't hate the show but am I am finding it increasingly harder to remember to watch this each week now... Rainbow should have just been a spectacular 13 episode show. Lolz, the show covered about 6 volumes of the Manga so far. Manga has 22 i believe. This is just something called character development. It's done poorly, but it has to be there. It gets much better after the upcoming 2 arcs. |

| I knew Eri would betray him..Baremoto was far too naive..Well, you can't blame him for falling in love but there are boundaries..At least he realised it and now he is back to normal.His mother is really kind.. But I didn't really get why she commited suicide with another man.I thought they were running away. | That plot came out of nowhere, and pretty much had nothing to do with anything. It seemed like an excuse to be even cheesier than ever while taking up two episodes for no good reason. |
| Heh, despite a lot of the complaining about the series in general up until this point (I'll hold my current judgment for the final episode and judge the series as a whole), I really liked this arc compared to the others. Scam's been one of the more interesting characters to me since his trust issues and all from the beginning, and I liked this arc because it connected back to that. I did NOT see that suicide coming. What the hell. I'm glad he redeemed himself in the end - it ended quite nicely, and I think on a stronger note somehow, especially since that tree went through so much, a lot like Scam, and still bloomed. Love can put you through hell, seriously, and can be found in the strangest and most deceptive of places... The only thing I thought that would have made this perfect would have been the next episode preview. I really wanted a Soldier arc, damn it...! I still really like Turtle, but mehhhh! |

| Eri should've just told Baremoto that she was running away with some other guy instead of giving him false hope. Not even sure why the other guy wanted to commit suicide too? She's not totally a bad person, but she did lie to Baremoto about having a sister and needing money to pay for her college. At least he learned yet another real good lesson, and he seems to always learn it the hard way. He has such great friends and a family. I don't care for him that much, but when his mother didn't say anything about Baremoto's mistakes and selfishness and instead said welcome home, that was really touching. Of course, his friends are all way too forgiving as well. |

| Love sure can be blind... pretty weird she killed herself though and quite sad to see him being played with his emotions but yea that's what happens :| Good episode though let's see what's next! |
