| Finally, Mona has a proper rival after the fakeout in the previous episodes. Glad to see Asahi making her proper appearance and she's a tough girl who wants to prove herself. I like how their rivalry has that blood feud vibe already. They captured her personality well imo and her talent as a basketball player. It's also super obvious she has a crush towards Medaka. Mona's jealousy is priceless as hell. |

| Asahi is breath fresh air compared to Kawai and her annoying shenanigans. It’s been a long time coming, but we finally get an Asahi episode! I’m rooting for her! The classic trope with the rain though. As soon as a character gets hit with a rain drop, they show signs of getting sick. It’s honestly hilariously bad and gets me everytime. I hope to see more Asahi events in upcoming episodes. |

| It's nice to see competition for Mona who continues to be delusional in admitting that she actually has feelings for Medaka with new girl Asahi. I kind of like how Asahi comes across as strong and bold but suddenly gets shaky when Medaka is around which shows she likes him. Regarding the scene with the planking, I thought Asahi showing her bra was accidental but maybe it was on purpose lol. |

| Mona start out on a roll with : *Scrunch abated*; "Don't be shy! Come on!" *killer wink*; *umbrella win* But then. *RIVAL ACTIVATED* And a ferocious one at that. I am both a little bit put off, and somewhat more intrigued by her random forwardness. "Drain it, Asahi!" Subtitle misfire? maybe should have been Dunk it? Loved the 3 different reactions to Ashai's panty glimpse. "Never accept a wager when you know you suck too hard to win" Yep, but as a Evil Overlord, my policy is 'Never accept a challenge, just command "You Shall" ' Asahi with a drop and give me 20 bit. LOL "Do...Do you dislike smaller sizes?" She got me as hard as she got Medaka, LMFAO with soda up my nose. So now we have a full on rival war between a Kaokuma/Teasedere blend and a Kuudere/Hajidere blend. Going to be theater This episode should bump up the shows rating. |

| This week we get a very fun episode with Mona 'fighting' her first true rival for Medaka. We also have quite a decent amount of cute moments, showing that our two main characters have grown a little bit closer :) |
| Asahi best girl lol. She’s a hooper so she automatically gets the win. Mad respect to her for standing up to Mona annoying ass. She single handily reinvigorated my interest in this series lmao. If it’s gonna be she and Mona competing for his attention every ep I can kinda use this as a turn your brain off and laugh series. Fairs, I actually laughed out loud during that plank scene at the end. Best episode yet and funniest too. Asahi acting all confident on the court and then freezing up in front of Medaka is gold. |

| I'm 100% team Asahi here. Also despite the getting wet = getting sick trope, at least the second he sneezed they weren't all over him like "Are you ok? Did you get sick?" They actually showed him sneezing multiple times and nobody reacting to it, which I appreciate |

| I never get tired of calling Mona "simp," but today I'll let it slide because Asahi showed up and doesn't even try to hide that she also likes Medaka. The rivalry between the two was pretty funny, especially in the end with that fan-service, and Mona's part was original. |

| Oh wow, the episode opened up without the usual Mona jumping over a puddle scene, I guess if she gets rained out that’s gonna happen, but she ended up being in a good mood anyway lol, also the umbrella scene afterward was good, although if she doesn’t know what’s crossing the line with Medaka at this point then she’s a lost cause lol. But the main focus of this one was a proper introduction of the love rival Asahi, she looked the most appealing to me of the girls so I’m glad she’s finally getting focus, and I can easily say I love her already, I love how she pretty much becomes Mr. Krabs from that episode where he loves Mrs. Puff when she’s around Medaka lol, I love how she goes complete tomato in the face too. Mona wasn’t about to take her declaration of war sitting down tho, and that led to the basketball stuff which was extremely tasteful with those Mona poses, only her re-inserting of herself into Medaka’s mind was cut short when Asahi made her own display of fanservice during the planking scene, planking is already hard enough but staring down two babes’ shirts at the same time was too much for Medaka, his reaction to Asahi’s line about smaller chests was golden lol. Asahi definitely made quite the impression just from this episode, really looking forward to getting more of her, and also whatever deathly cold Medaka gets next episode because of all his sneezing in this one lol. |

| It's about time this new girl showed up! Asahi seems like the best match for Medaka (if only she'd drop the whole monk thing), but if there's one thing I've learned over the years, it's that the best girl doesn't always win. Still, Asahi is adorable, and he even made me like Mona more with their little flirting war. I'm curious about the reason behind his feelings for Medaka - probably something from the past that he doesn't remember. But if she's interested in him because she sees him as a stoic, pure-hearted guy while she thinks all the other guys are perverts... well, she might be in for a surprise. |
