Leticia seems more conscious about Clarke now. However, deep down, it seems she desire freedom like she always had been.

It's a fine episode imo but they're obviously trying to pair them up in every chance possible. She's destined to be involved in Clarke's life.

Kidnapping and unintended detention. What is Clarke? Cursed spirit? He was following and haunting Leticia all the time like a haunting ghost. All he had done so far was against her will. This prince was so annoying and persistent. No one can tolerate this creepy behavior.

I really hope Leticia can escape in the end and run away from this kingdom as far as possible. Go to a foreign country or somewhere else other than this creepy country.

@AkeZZZ yeah, if he choose to live a quite life with her, she's 100 would agree, to me he's just a spoiled brat who uses his parent influence to do whatever he want, he not only kidnaped her, but also essentially make her a prisoner in the castle, i don't know if he will get better, but for now i despised him

Clarke is fcking annoying, if they try to make him into a likable character after all the shit he pulled, and the show just becomes a normal romance snore-fest that'd be awful. Hope he remains a prick and Leticia doesn't fall for him, but I don't really see that happening sadly with no other potential interest introduced. So at this point the best I can hope for is Leticia getting the freedom she deserves.

Honestly not feeling this anime anymore, I don't like Leticia or Clarke so it's probably best if I drop this now.
Clarke has the charisma of a cardboard cutout and Leticia as a character is as shallow as a puddle.
Not sure why stories like this feel the need to have their characters be nobility and then proceed to ignore all the rules, responsibilities, and consequences (of going against the grain) that a noble would face. You can't just "I'm so heckin independent and free-spirited xd" your way out of an arranged marriage with the Prince of your nation but anime is going to anime I guess.
Hopefully it gets better so the people who stick with this can enjoy it; if you're already enjoying it then I hope you continue to.

this episode is soo cringe... taking her against her will, projecting his feelings on her. he's just waiting for Stockholm syndrome to take place. That eventually she'll fall for him. May need to check the authors house for some trapped girls.

What going on in this kingdom. First prince Clark although he seems madly in love with Letitia but it doesn't seem like the two have spent anytime together outside a few balls where the dance then went their separate ways. Second the parents they don't seem the type to sacrifice their daughter for political gain the brother would but I don't see the parents.
Third why Leticia not doing more like throwing vases at the maid or dump food on the floor as this kingdom made the princess to be train for years to be the perfect wife and future queen so throwing an unholy tantrum could force the breaking of the engagement as she be too disgraceful to be queen

Is this supposed to be romantic in any way? It was already bad how he used another woman to make her jealous and making a fool out of her as his fiancee in public. Now we can add kidnapping and imprisonment to the red flag bingo. And he does everything with a creepy smile.

This story would have worked better as a thriller and not a romcom.

Here's somthing I want you to think about. Leticia speaking to the audience not because she has the power to break the 4th wall, but because she has no one she can trust in her world. Her parents betray her, her brother betrays her, her maids betray her, and of course her fiance is the biggest problem. She has to speak her mind to her imaginary friends, which are us! If people drop this, then she'll be really alone, let us be her imaginary friends.

@Kai200X agreed the kingdom seems worried about having the perfect queen otherwise they wouldn't put Leticia through years of princess training. Making Leticia a queen against her will could lead to rebellion in european history a number of queens fought against their husband's like Eleanor of Aquitaine against her husband Henry the second and a Spanish queen deposed her husband

I know this is supposed to be a period anime, but from a modern perspective this just feels really uncomfortable. Im watching watching a kidnapping, slowly edging towards sexual assault. The prince is a creepy weirdo too. The anime is supposed to be lighthearted and comedic but the backdrop is just too dark for me to be able to enjoy it. This might have worked if it was a serious period anime without the comedy, because this is too dark to be comedic. The past definately sucks for women.

So the episode opens up with the Prince literally kidnapping Leticia, and this is still supposed to be lighthearted and cute. In the end, if she likes this guy (oh but hes going to "allow her" some freedom) its going to be the result of Stockholm Syndrome more than anything else. Literally everyone except Leticia sucks in this anime. Gave it 3 episodes. That's more than enough. Dropped.

The creepy vibes from the nightmare was on point, Maria has the patience of a saints but she showed her real face for a bit at the end, it makes me sad so many are hating this show but I'm having a great time, the previous queen seems to be a free spirit too.

Another very good episode of the series based on a story which could be called 'The Cute Side of Royalty'!

I like Duchess Leticia very much. Lettie is an adorable woman with a nice personality.

Crown Prince Clarke seems he loves the Duchess and he is willing to marry Leticia, making them the future King and Queen and her the future mother of his heir.

The Duchess may be fortunate because it is a story -- if it would be History, the future King Clarke would forcibly marry the future Queen Leticia and he would make Lettie the mother of his heir as forcibly as, because State affairs over personal affairs and this is how it happened through History. Not as cute, isn't it?

I'll be honest with you. If this kidnapping and woman-despising act is a success and Lettie ends up falling in love, this will be my first “1”. Even the comedic part doesn't help that she's treated like an object.

There is literally nothing cute about Clarke’s behavior in this show and it’s uncomfortable that they try to romanticise it…nothing sweet about removing Leticia’s agency and treating her like a piece of meat.

He doesn’t even see her as a human being or care about what she wants, and I know it’s meant to be a comedy series of sorts but it’s still cringe as fuck and unenjoyable because of Clarke. Eventually she’s going to give in and fall for him of course because anime, but this is so bad. I just want my girl to be free and do what she wants, and everyone just keeps gaslighting her “oh he’s so nice to you, why don’t you like him??”

Also, who directed this episode, because it looked noticeably better?? Every single Leticia movement is so fluid you can see her clothes and body fluttering and swaying way more wtf. Almost like a different team/studio all together.

Oh boy, I really liked the first episode and was looking forward to a witty and interesting story, but they completely broke it in the last episode and now MC is forced into this linear conclusion that does absolutely nothing for me. Sad, but I'm dropping this.

@Kai200X I think she didn't see a way out her family wouldn't let her break the engagement but when she thought she had a shot at freedom (when the prince escorted the other woman at the beginning)she took it and trying to not look back

I COPED SO hard thinking this show would somewhat be watchable from the first two episodes but holy wtf is this crap. Prince is straight up a spoiled creep that can't take no for an answer. There's plenty of shows/series that I or other people end up not liking but is understandable that others do, but I just can't see it for this one what in the actual fuck. Straight up ignoring what the other person is saying and being a persistent fuck, in goes one ear and out goes another. kidnapping wow fun.

edit* Hey, huge W to Leticia's VA, really well done performance. It's just unfortunate that it's wasted on this trash.

I don’t think Clarke made any fans from this episode lol, boy is he making it tough to like him, it’s almost hard to believe he’s supposed to be the romantic interest, I was okay with him in the first two episodes but this time around he pretty much kidnapped her and locked her up in a room, yeah the moments where she tried to escape have been funny but it’s hard to ignore the fact that this is all against her will. And all of her family and friends betrayed her even, what was the point in moving to the countryside if this was the fate that awaited her?

But with all that being said, at the end of the day this is a lighthearted comedy, and this is absolutely heading down a path where they end up together, so might as well enjoy the ride lol, the episode was still funny and enjoyable despite the situation at hand, I especially liked when Leticia threw the maid to the side to run out the door, the attempt to swap places later was also pretty good lol. I’m looking forward to seeing if Leticia can actually escape or not, or what miraculous way she ends up falling for Clarke after all that’s happened, it’s just unfortunate the show lost a some folks with this episode so there’s no bringing it back for them.

Prince Clarke is so insufferable. There's no way a future romance between them will be believable.

He forced his servant to address her as oku-sama. oku-san means 'your wife' or addressing somebody's wife, and oku-sama is the more polite version.

Point is, it feels like coercion.

It's impossible to root for this romance. She isn't heard, she isn't respected, she was forced to take harsh lessons since childhood to marry this spineless prince, and she can't have the slightest bit of free will because in the next scene, she's treated like a doll. It's hard to like something like that. If someone appeared to be her partner, I might continue, but since I know that's not going to happen...
