Oh Mizuho..I wish she said something more thoughtful although I guess it's not easy to in the heat of the moment. She did get kissed after all.

Story still focuses mostly from Mizuho's perspective with a very heavy drama tone. There's also more flashbacks including her family so we're getting to know Miuzho by a lot this season it seems. Kizuki and Mizuho has a complicated relationship.

oh mizuho got a surprise smooch not easy to be clever in that sitch lol
she's the main focus this season lots of family backstory coming in its kinda intense
her bond with kizuki is tricky stuff nice
the vibe is heavy on the drama not much laughs this time around feels different
we're learning more about her than ever before thats what keeps it interesting

The visual quality dropped a little bit. It's still look very good but it's a warning sign as looking good is this anime's only strength.

With that said, there are some interesting aspects, Kizuki and Mizuho know each other's weakness. Mizuho is afraid of thunder while Kizuki pretend that he's fine on the outside.

Nice episode, Mizuho really struggling to process how she feels about Kizuki but it was really sweet to see him help her when she got scared of the thunder.

As others have said, like the story a lot, but the art is some of the worst I have seen. Looks like we are watching a PowerPoint show with narration.

I will never understand how you adapt a shoujo romance which inherently had great art and then give it a subpar adaptation with PowerPoint animation. Mizuho deserve better lol.

This show is so ass but it’s good at the same time if that makes sense. It’s so trashy like watching an episode of Love Island or some stupid reality show, but I’m kind of hooked. It’s hard to take anything seriously though because every scene looks like it’s animated at 5fps. Like that ending scene with Kizuki and Mizuho is supposed to be so cute and I’m over here cracking up cause it looks so bad 😭

But like did the boys all have an agreement to wait until Mizuho turned 17 to go after her? Because Kizuki and now Shin just being aggressive as hell. It was bad enough with one clingy dude but now she got another asshole who’s being a tsundere because he likes her clearly lol. I guess it’s working out for Kizuki though because Mizuho is at least starting to see him as a boy.

there's no possible way to fall like that on the couch right on top of each other, Kizuki was sitting on the floor then somehow he ended up on top of her, like holy shit. I already knew there would be a lot of tropes like this, but they're not even trying, it's so trash

I'm shocked more people didn't see how terrible the animation was in ep 1. I'm interested in the story, but this production quality is awful. The character designs remain pretty, i just wish they would move.

Fair episode. We got the reasoning behind Mizuho rejecting Kizuki, which is that she doesn't want the gang to fall apart, which is understandable, so i'm glad we got the reason this episode. Moreover, did girl actually fall 4 him due to a kiss? Reminds me of that 1 meme when a girl got kissed then she said "did i get impregnated due to that kiss?" Don't recall which anime though. But i'll be fair, i thought Kuzki was so pushy that first episode, but i guess i misjudged. Bro actually doing whatever she tells him now, instead of pushing himself on her, since he saw that she didn't like it. Really loved that out of him, improved his image in my eyes, especially last scene made me tear up a bit. Excited for the upcoming episodes.

PS: HATE THAT BROWN POINTY PATTERN STYLE FOR ALL THE MOB CHARACTERS. DESPISE IT, SERIOUSLY.

This anime is fascinating because I actually like all the lines Kizuki pushes, and I honestly think it's refreshing. Here's the thing. I just don't like that Kizuki is doing it.

Kizuki's most attractive moments by far in this episode are that umbrella scene and that ending scene. He hit the notes so perfectly in those two scenes. But him being so forward with that shower kiss scene and this bedroom scene where he goes to sleep next to Mizu almost like a creep -- that just doesn't seem like the same person.

Honestly, it's like the author had two completely different ideas about what to do with Kizuki. On the one hand, Kizuki is supposed to be this sweetheart at heart who has developed his character to project strength, but at base he's a shy, timid good boy. On the other hand, it's like the author wanted a male love interest to push all the boundaries and potentially trigger people with how forward he is. That bedroom scene was almost something you'd expect a creepy comic relief character would do.

Like I said, I myself don't mind that edgy stuff in and of itself. From a storytelling perspective though, it clashes so much with what Kizuki is supposed to be or could be. Like, that scene at the end made me want to root for Kizuki to gain the confidence to succeed and excel. But then I remember him getting on top of the heroine after touching her bra and I'm like, what more confidence am I supposed to think you need?

Ultimately, Kizuki has nuggets of something really beautiful, but it's almost like he gets ruined over and over by acting out essentially intrusive thoughts that, in combination with what he is supposed to be, takes away from his attractive qualities.

Dude.. thank god I’m not the only one who thinks Kizuki needs to drop the creep behavior. Making her fall in love with him kinda was just the anime’s excuse for this behavior. The end of episode 1 should’ve been where I dropped this. Animation was noticeably worse but animation is hard so I kinda get it.
I’ll continue watching as I was kinda compelled but if Kizuki doesn’t change his borderline harassment then idk what to feel. I’d consider it dubious consent on that kiss from last episode. Some weird questionable behavior that was weirdly excused this episode too. Somethings just off.
Like… no one falls immediately in love because of a kiss if they didn’t like them prior. The anime is just excusing the behavior

All people do is bitch about the animation. So fucking annoying. People really can't expect high production animation with every single damn episode.

I really don't understand why she didn't wait until most of the storm passed, I mean it makes sense bc of the plot. Kizuki knew exactly where to find her, that's really sweet omg how is Kizuki not supposed to make a move when Mizuho is saying shit like "I prefer you". Kizuki is right tho fr, Mizuho is to the point of being spoiled solely by Kizuki whereas everyone else is like shut up.

Lowkey assumed she didn't want to date anyone from the group to prevent disagreements and resentment within the group. Mizuho likes Kizuki, but she's in deep denial. Idk how all of you idiots don't realize that. I guess Mizuho didn't realize it either because all of these moments are flashbacks. In the end, Mizuho doesn't seem like she ended up with anyone, she probably pushed everyone away, especially Kizuki. Maybe adult Mizuho will reach out to Kizuki?

I also hate the patterned NPCs, its so ugly

@Sheol01 a lot of recent Shoujo anime have adopted this style but this is one of the uglier styles 😭

i really kinda dont care much for the animation quality of anime like that.

i only care for that in shows where the animation actualy matters. like in fights and such.

for me this is just a colored and voiced manga, which is totaly fine with me, i dont need any animation at all. still images and i would still watch it as long as the story is decent.

buuut: the story is only "ok". i kinda dont really like kizuki but i actualy dont hate him either.. he pushes a little too hard sometimes, but at the same time he is no asshole. he is nice to her, and seems to understand her feelings...
and it does not seem like she really does not like him, its more that she does not want to like him because of the circumstances.

i kinda like it. the part i dont like the most is the future scenes, because it seems that she is not together with anyone of them.
that would be fine in the end for me, but i kinda dont like that we seem to know it before the end :D it seems like a spoiler to me xD

This is forgettable shoujo slop. I literally could not remember the basic premise of this show from last week's episode 1, until after the OP had played on this episode. Then they somehow levitated onto the couch after she fell on him on the floor because, ohnoes, he touched her bra in the laundry. Turned it off right there. Dropped.

What the eff is going on with the clouds at around 13:23 (right after Kizuki came and hugged her in the rain)??? Are they shining spotlights into the sky for batman or something? I'm not a meteorology expert, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible for the shafts of what is presumably supposed to be sunlight to be shining upwards, because the sun would have to be in the ground to produce such a steep upward angle. I suppose it's hypothetically possible to have a tunnel of cloud-free air in the cloud cover, with the sun's light indirectly funneling upwards, which could lead to the angle, but I think the sunlight was way too intense to be indirect sunlight.

I know it's such a small and irrelevant detail, but what's the point in getting it wrong or possibly trying to be "creative" with it? Just do a normal downwards god ray and it'll look pretty and won't distract from the episode
