| pretty similar to the ending of the falling devil arc. a bunch of action with a primal devil, followed by a very surreal and abrupt finale. love its implied that fumiko, after tricking those random public safety members into sacrificing themselves, seemingly finishes the job and murders them. |

| idk it made sense to me, even if its presentation was a little confusing. 1. yoshida sacrifices fumiko's heart in order to summon octopus in the real world, ensnaring the aging devil in darkness along with pochita. 2. that one random victim uses pochita's mouth as a portal, jumping out and grabbing the aging devil, forcibly dragging him into his own sub-dimension. 3. devil powers dont work in aging's world, so he effectively becomes neutralized. the group forces him into giving up the fight. |

| MREEEEE got his revenge and a second chance at life! I'm so happy, this could've been the end for CSM and I think it would've made for one completely in line with its tone and sense of humor. Kind of a confusing battle, but I still very much enjoyed it. |

That panel with the gang ordering coffee and tea and chocolate cakes so casually, with Fumiko and Fami in there no less and chaos ensuing outside, is hilarious. 🤣 What a bewildering scene! 🤣 |

| Peak chapter ending, very Fujimoto dry comedy. Aging devil would rather free Denji than live with him forever. That's it, battle won. Hilarious that people don't get it because they always want the most shounen battle ah ending possible. |

I realized that some of you from here are acting like this is the last chapter of the manga. Some of the comments are like: “WHAT A TERRIBLE ENDING CAN’T BELIEVE PEOPLE ARE DEFENDING THIS!!” You guys know the meaning of a “chapter” right? The story will continue. Things will be explained.
| @Garyyyy1 Yeah I'm surprise people haven't realized that Chainsaw Man has always done this, this is far from being new. If you're 190 chapters deep and have been reading weekly for years like me, this shouldn't be a surprise. Just part of the Fujimoto cycle, I suppose. |
