| This show is actually self conscious about love, like not even trying to subtle hide it. Hina seems childish at times but I enjoy her presence in the show. Her personality conflicts somewhat with Kana who seems more reserved but can still be expressive in her feelings. So much beach and partying though. I think this anime will have that recurring vibe throughout the show. |

| I am digging the opening. Like the music and the energetic visuals. "I should have stayed in the coral" Yep, Ojisan. lowering my vote on the episode because no bikinis at the beach party. I was ready to get my tanline fetish going, but noooooo. "He's so cool" Then, splooosh. Damn, he rizzed the ever living hell out of Kaana and never knew it. I am still going to wait on judging best girl until I get more personality information, as well as a comparative look at their respective tanlines. But Kaana did get a lot more quality time this episode, and it introduced her Imouto and Ototo. All plusses. I still want more plot and less travelogue. |

| So beach parties are more like social gatherings than just going for a swim, very different from you typical beach episode. Yes, Okinawan time is a thing show so showing up on time may be too early for Okinawans. They also mentioned the different release days for Shonen jump magazines which is Monday for the mainland and Tuesday for Okinawa. |

| The JoJo reference was good, but they overdid it with the Austronesian dialect. Only dropping Kyan can somehow save it, but I doubt it will happen. |

| Aaa, each episode of this show has just been pure fun. I'm really enjoying myself every time! Not too much progression in their relationships this episode, but we did learn alot about Kana and how she met Teruaki which was quite nice. While i'm still rooting for Kana, the amount of energy Hina has and shares is really great. I'm hoping to see more of... everyone really, they're all wonderful! I am so glad to finally see some media that realizes using umbrellas is just too much of a hassle! I'd much rather get soaked than bother using one of those. Is this what they call representation? |

| This series is really amusing. Especially if you are learning Japanese and find out the differences in dialects. Ojisan misunderstanding was super funny. Also, ムチャムチャ is an equivalent of ベタベタ, while normally ムチャムチャ means senseless/reckless. Definitely one of my favorites in this season. |

| Its amazing how anime girls, especially cute anime girls, fall in love so easily with average-looking-guys (or sometimes below-average-looking-guys) simply because he was nice (and because of MC powers). If only real life was that easy for average looking guys when it comes to getting girls. Kanna is still very adorable. But I doubt with 10 episodes left and with this being a somewhat silly anime, that the male MC would ever notice her or there be any romantic progress other than the blushing scenes we get. |
| It is interesting to know that Okinawans prefer to get wet in the rain rather than swimming in the sea because of the sticky feeling you get after being in the ocean. Personally, I think getting wet in the rain can also be sticky, but each to their own! The beach episode was fun, because we learned Okinawan customs and curiosities. Considering it's Okinawa, I doubt it's the only beach episode. After watching the story of how Teru and Kana met, it's pretty clear who to root for. I have nothing against Hina, but Kana has had my vote since the first episode. |

| I liked this episode more than the first - probably because there seemed to be less Hina. |
| Higa once again showing why she’s best girl and hopefully the end game for the romance, it’s possible Kyan comes around and becomes more romantically focused, but for now Higa solos lol, I really loved the backstory for how she and Teruaki first met, I can definitely see how he made an impression on her when he attempted to save her hat, yeah he didn’t save it but he looked cool doing it lol. It was also here we learned that Shonen Jump comes out later in Okinawa, makes sense, that was a funny reaction from the kids tho. And there were some other great Okinawa related bits in this one (also a nice Jojo reference), like the weather changing on a dime which I found especially funny, it seems like it does that where I live sometimes, not this bad tho lol. The beach party was also nice, I expected swimsuits but Higa and Kyan were looking cute in those casual fits anyway, poor Teruaki didn’t get to swim but we did learn an interesting thing there about Okinawans having gatherings on the beach for many occasions, not just swimming, I doubt this is the last of the beach we get tho so hopefully Teruaki can get his swim in eventually. I also liked the addition of Higa’s brother, he wasn’t quite fishing but close enough, glad we got another fishing anime this season lol. And we got another nice ED this week, funny bike riding visuals too, although I think I prefer the song from the first episode more, but it’s really cool we’re getting covers every week for this show, it’s like I get a whole album along with the show kinda like music themed anime lol. |
| I really hope he finds out Kana likes him but I doubt if it does happen that we will even see it in the next 10 episodes, but either way I am enjoying this show so far That jojo reference was pretty funny though I hope they keep it up with these anime references |

| I started watching this anime because I thought it was Hina = Nagatoro. Hina is very optimistic and cheerful. Although I think that in this anime I will stay with Kana. Hina's happiness is contagious.But I prefer Kana's seriousness and embarrassment a little more.  |

This concept got very irritating very fast and had just ended up downright annoying by the end of episode 2. This show treats Okinawa as if it’s a planet entirely unrelated to Japan and the characters are just shoving Okinawan habits onto Teruaki without explaining this to him. Worst of all is probably the Kyan girl who speaks standard Japanese and knows Teruaki doesn’t speak the Okinawan dialect but still speaks to him in it anyway, regardless of whether he is trying to learn it or not.

In these moments I just zone out and wait for regular dialogue again. It's frustrating. And what's up with these four different subtitles on the screen? Looks so ugly.  |
| Hmm... that is strange ... now I have question The normal "romance flags" happened with the pretty blonde girl, as shown in this episode. She caught feelings for him almost instantly. But some how he likes the brunette that he can't understand at all? I hope they clear this confusion up in later episodes. please no spoilers |

Even though I can anticipate this anime’s gags quite well, I was partly-fooled by the wordplay in the beginning scene with the fish.

Kind of amusing how some of the words are close to, but not quite, Japanese. Looks like "ame" (rain) becomes "ami" in Okinawan. O.o?  I've also heard the term "Filipino time" to describe the same lack of punctuality to social gatherings. I can see why Kana likes Teruaki - looked kind of cool trying to get her hat. I can also see why Teruaki likes Hina - first one to talk to him in a crowded class. I guess that's a setup for a pretty nasty love triangle, at least in the eyes of viewers, not so much the characters. |

That said, how can one not root for Kana? It was nice to see her first meeting with Teru, she really fell in love with him. She is so cute and of course best girl of this show. Man, I'm having a lot of fun with this show. |

| As ever the OP is so damm catchy. The thought of catching stray old men from the ocean though lol. Still the dialect really is something though. Uchinna time sounds like a good excuse for being late though. Hmm the universal beach party would be a great icebreaker. Given how fast the weather can change umbrella's are a waste of space for them. The manner of Kana and Teru's first meeting was pretty sweet. Kinda lucky in that their next encounter was sooner than they thought. |

| This series continues to be really charming and funny. Hina remains my favourite character purely because of how infectious her charismatic personality is when she does anything. We also got a rare embarrassed expression from her after realising that her wet school shirt showed a bit of her underwear through it, which she did well to hide that from Teru when they were walking home together. However, I do agree with the majority of users here that shipping Teru and Kana together is spot on. Learning how the two of them first met and how he dove into the water to rescue her hat was nice of him, which also made Kana fall for him a bit there. It felt fitting that she would see him again at school and made her move to help him understand a bit more of the Okinawan dialect. The ED animation was also pretty cute and the song cover itself was peaceful and nice. I still prefer the OP and how upbeat it is. |
| I really liked those trivias on Okinawans. They looked like very fun people. And damn Kaanaa is way better than Hiinaa. If only she talked to him first in class, their feelings would probably be mutual. |

| Kana is a very interesting character. I hope we can learn more about Hina, I still like her but she doesnt have much personality. Also, here I was getting ready to see Kana in a bikini but the show really tricked us lol. I am still very much enjoying learn about Okinawa and it's people. |
| Another hilarious episode between the 'sea is made to look at', the old people partying and the (very) brief and repetitive rain showers. Also very adorable to see the first meetings between Kana and the MC, how nice for her that she found such a natural way to interact with her crush very often. @AkeZZZ I like Harukana Receive so it's nice to learn that fact :) |
